HI all After wanting to get back into flight sim, but a little less hassly program than aivlasoft EFB, I found LittleNavMap. It looks really really promising, however, the download speeds are really slow. Is this only for me? usually my connection is really fast. vkr victor

I just wanted to say Thank you for Little Navmap! First I used it mainly for my VFR Flights. In this section it was just the best tool out there for planning and so on. But now I bought the PMDG J41 (yes, a little late to the party) and since Little Navmap got the Navigraph update a while ago I can use it for my IFR Flights also. Because the J41 has not the best Nav Display I use Little Navmap on my second monitor as Electronic Flightbag beside of Navigraph Charts. It is just awesome that we can select all the approaches, transitions and so on in a clear and oversight picture. Please keep up this Tool and thank you again.

Hi Alex I was wondering if there is an option to track my aircraft on the map “pointing up” instead of always having north pointing up and the aircraft tracking its position relative to that? The GTN 750 map has this option which I like at times, am I missing that option with LNM? Thanks again for your tremendous contributions to our hobby! Joe

Hello! It would be a nice feature if we could see the Airspaces on the route in the Flight Plan Elevation Profile. The option to view it on the Map, and filter it to the planned altitude is already asesome but it would be nice to see it in the elevation profile also to get a better situational awereness in the 3D Space. Maybe I can inspire you for such a feature Thank you!

is it possible to maually add visual reference points into little nav map so that they display without having to create a flightplan.? eg bristol( EGGD) has several reporting point vrps. i would like them to display just like the airway waypoint names. i cant see it anywhere in the user manual about how to do it.

First of all, I only recently discovered this gem and it is truly amazing. I am wondering (unless I'm blind and can't find it) if would be possible to add day / nighttime overlay based on the hour you enter at your current position? Something like this: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/sunearth.html Cheers

Translation Packages (This text is copy from my page here) These are separate packages that add support for a language to a current Little Navmap and Little Navconnect version. When a new Little Navmap version is released all present translations are added to the new version and installing a package is not needed anymore. Simply check a new version after installing in a clean directory if it appears in your language. Install one of the packages below if not. Refer to the included README.txt file in the downloaded archive for installation instructions. See Translating in the Little Navmap Wiki if you would like to contribute to Little Navmap and tr…

Little NavMap is truly a great addon for the flight sim and I would be lost without it as it is packed with great features. Now I am not trying to compare Little NavMap to Plan-G however there is one feature that Plan-G has that I believe is very helpful that I would love to see in Little NavMap that would be accessed by a Right Click on an airport to link to a folder that contains PDF documents for Charts. This is really a great feature in Plan-G and is very useful. Regards, Dane.

I use FSBuild to create my flight plans. Now I need to have a gfp format for some of my planes. So when I try to open the fsxse with little navmap I get an error: Caught exception "invalid lat/long format "N49(then a tiny diamond shape with a ? inside. I think it's the degree symbol) then the long degree gets the same error symbol. The thing is when I save the flight plan I put together in little navmap, it has the same symbol for degrees as the ones made by FSBuild. Any reason this is happing? Right now I take my route log from fsbuild and manually put it in navmap the n export it to gfp format.

Hi, Newly purchased a greek photoreal scenery. In ADE I made a correction of the default runway and placed it on top of the photoreal same runway (LGKO). In P3Dv3 it looks as expected, but in LittleNavMap - after having loaded the scenery library again - the default airport is still displaced (as before the correction). Se pictures.... As in P3Dv3 As in LittleNavMap What might be wrong here?? Best Regards, Lars

I have been looking at LPMA Madeira and Little NavMap says the elevation is 190 ft. The stock P3d4 version of the airport says that it is at 711 ft. And a PDF of the Jeppesen terminal procedures says the runway elevation is sloped at 147/192 ft. Is the P3d4 stock version really that far off? And where is LNM reading the elevation from, for its general display under the airport tab?

Hi Alex, I just obtained the latest x737FMC for the x737 Project 737-700 and 737-800, for X-Plane 11.11. This FMC does not load X-Plane flight plans now in 11.11, but support is planned in the future. In the meantime, Javier, the developer of x737FMC (which is really something!) says that it will take UFMC format plans. How hard would it be to make Little Navmap export to that format? Along with the large number of export formats you now support, Little Navmap is starting to become a universal format converter!

I have Little NavMap installed in FSX SE, no problems. I also installed it in PREPARED v4, but I'm not seeing the flight plan. I can see my aircraft, but it's not pointing in the direction of the destination airport.

Hello, short question is it possible to make Gatenumbers appear not only at highest possible zoom-factor? Or can i adjust this for myself somehow? The reason i ask is, that if ATC advices me a Gate or Rampnumber i cannot see it following my airplane because i have to zoom in max. It would be really nice if you can see the Gatenumbers instead or beside the "G" or "R" at a lower zoom. Thx in advance Magic P.S.: What a great little helper and program!

Just been playing around with LNM and am enjoying it. I've scanned the documentation but not read it thoroughly yet so if I missed this - sorry. Is there now or will there be a way to auto add an approach to a plan, either when creating it or "on the fly" when you get the active runway? Will there be a way to use custom maps? For example I have a custom map on Mapbox (www.mapbox.com). that I use by providing an unique key. Currently, PlanG allows for that selection. Looks like a fun program once I get used to it's capabilities. Thanx, Vic

Hello Folks, my hats off for this free program(which is unbelivible that it is free). My problem is that i want to run LN on a second computer. If i understand the install correctly, i have to first load Lil Navconnect on the host computer , which would be where I have FSX installed. On the second computer I install Lil Navmap, and than go to tools, Flight sim connect. I then select "Connect to a remote flight simulator". In hostname or Ip address, you put the address of the host computer , which runs FSX, and leave the port space alone. For some reason it will not connect, and also when trying to open up navconnect on the host computer, when i double click …

Hi Alex, Thanks so much for the continued updates to LNM, especially the added SID, STAR and Approach procedures. One thing I'm struggling a bit with is the terminology with procedures. For example, with ILS approaches, what you call the initial fix may not be identified as an IAF (Initial Approach Fix) on the approach plate. So I assume your use of the term initial fix is not necessarily the same as how IAF is used. Similarly, with STARs, I'm not quite sure how to interpret your use of the term initial fix as far as ATC terminology is concerned. Thx, Al

Fantastic map, it has replaced Plan G for me. Just wanted to get my first impressions in fast. I love How I can find well rated airports without flying to them first. Some immediate things I miss from other maps are: 1. Dark mode. I'm becoming a vampyre. 2. Filter options in the map for rating, runway length, etc. Basically all the options on the search need to appear so we can quickly exclude airports from the display according to rating etc. Or a button in the search window called 'only show these in map'. 3. Slightly more pronounced explanations needed regarding the rules for excluding folders for addon detection, and possibly a ageing 'Refresh' button t…

In X-plane, the default ENBR (Bergen Lufthaven Flesland) was listed as '3D' featured airport - however there were no buildings there! In LIttle Navmap it showed as 5 stars which is not good (for me). I then downloaded a pretty good version of it from the x-plane org, it now shows as a 'helipad' featured airport and now only has 4 stars in Little Navmap. Really in my opinion it was '1' star before, and possibly '5' stars now. Possibly the fault of the airport design or x-plane itself for listed as 'helipad', not sure, but could be others the same.

In the past I was able to use the ILS approaches allowing me to accurately land on the appropriate runway. The altitude did not work but that was not a problem since I could manually descend. I can no longer use the ILS approaches. When pressing "approach" the plane turns in directions other than the funnel indicates the direction it should take. I use Active Sky 16 and more often than not weather is such that I have to descend to 1500 ft before the runway is visible if I am lucky. I am taking this hobby one step further and have started trying to understand Sid's and Stars. It also occurs to me that Navigraph and FS Aerodata may play a role in the problem I have. I have…

  23. Little NavMap is really a fantastic program! Thank you very much for it! I really like the new feature to display SIDS and STARs procedures on the map as it really helps to determine which one to choose! One thing I've run into, when I choose the correct SID or STAR within Little NavMap, I then want to add the same to my FMC or GTN...however, either one of them want to know the name of the SID or STAR. When I go back to Little NavMap to find out which one I chose, I don't see a way to find the one I chose without going through all of them again... I'm probably missing it, but is there a way to display the name of the chosen SID or STAR on the map or flight …

Is there a way to 'clean' up the program, i.e to remove previous trace on the flight plan elevation profile, as it retains the info from previous flights such as dotted line showing acent and decent lines?
