I am new to Little Navmap and I am trying to learn it. My question is that the exported flight plan seems to be missing waypoints as it only shows departing airport to arrival airport? I just noticed an issue. I updated one of my own personal use airports with ADE 1.75 for use in P3d V4. Then I forgot that it was also in a scenery folder used in P3d V3. Because the runway, taxiway and apron IDs differ between the two BGL versions and each of those items also have an additional V4 structure containing 5 GUIDs for seasonal materials, the Load library search in LNM crashes. This is not a bug, since I don't think that there is backwards compatibility of airports compiled for V4 when using them in P3d V3. Further, I'm not quite sure what P3d V3 will do if it encounters a V4 airport in its scenery library. Just keep this in mind in case an LNM user runs …

Hi all, I really like the trail the aircraft leaves on the Little Navmap so I can see my path across the map for multiple flights. However once I started Little Navmap when my aircraft was in another airport and it drew a big line between my last position and that airport, essentially ruining my trail history. Is there any way to delete this?

Hello everyone and hello Alexander. I just adore your product and feature it in each stream now. I have a quick question. I would like to set a take off location on LittleNavMap that is not an airport. For example, there are Oil Rigs near Rotterdam in FSX but I want to fly a sea plane. I therefore want to set a custom location to start from and use it with LittleNavMap. I tried but if I just "add waypoint" and make my circuit and then try to save it tells me the destination must be from a valid airport. Is there a way to make any location a "valid" take off point ? This would be useful for things like this so we can take off from custom locations. There is …

Dear Alexander, Is there a possibility to import Google Terrain as an extra map into Little NavMap?

I have add the "set home" sign and the "set center for distance search" sign on the map during flight planning. I can't find the possibility to remove the two signs from the map before I make a print of the planned route. What can I do. Love the program, many thank's! I cant select Load scenery library, it's grayed out. I have the Little Navmap on a remote, connected with little navconnect. How do I create the scenery library on my flying machine to import in the remote navmap? Thank you McDaniel

Hi Alex Is there any intention to introduce MSA's (Minimum Safe Altitude) as an overlay on the maps in any future release? It might save me from continuously crashing into mountains !!! Many thanks John

I am using the latest version of LNM. What a fantastic program! I open LNM in a window on a second monitor and follow my flight and flight plan leg on this monitor. The aircraft moves to simulate position but the map does not move when the flight reaches the side of the window. I have to drag the map across the window to reposition it. Is there a way to get the map to move in the window as the flight progresses so I do not have to drag the map? Any help would be appreciated for this great program. Thank you.

Hi I´m using this fatastic program with P3DV4. I also install my scenery with xml-files in the documents folder and an entry is also made i add-ons.cfg. As far as I can see is this type of scenery not recognized by LFP. Is that right or am I doing something wrong? /Thomas ESNN

Is there a possibility to show the surrounded heights in LittleNavMap around the airplane during the flight? Think e.g. of moving the mouse over the map nearby the airplane.

Hello folks just updated 1.4.3, and after I downloaded and tryed to open, i get and error (The application has failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command line sxstrace exe tool for more detail. i loaded it on my remote computer. loaed several time with no change. What am i doing wrong. I was fooling around trying different things and got so screwed up I wanted to change it back but couldn't. I tried to figure out how to get it back to the default setup but could not find out how, not even in the manual but it's probably there someplace in the 70+ pages. I believe there is a simple way to do it but don't have a clue. Please help. Rich

I have copied over Little Navmap to a folder on my C drive and when i try to run I am getting the following error. The procedure entry point vsprintf_s could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll. Please note I am trying to run on my second machine which is Windows XP. I have updated the C++ 2013 as suggested in the readme.

Apologies if this has already been discussed, but I can find no mention of it in this forum. I was nearly caught out yesterday flying from KORS to West Wind (7WA3) in P3D. The flight plan in Little Navmap calculates the magnetic heading as 084 degrees M. In the simulator GPS it was actually 042 degrees M. I then used the Little Navmap measuring tool and the GC measurement was 065 deg T and Rhumb was 044 deg M. So the Rhumb measurement tool was closest to the GPS in P3D. Just wondering where 084 degrees on the flight plan comes from? Just wondering if I am doing something wrong or if this is a known bug. Thanks Dave

Hi, couple of things. I'm trying to get a cleaner map area. I've tried different maps. I've turned off VOR,NDB,ILS,Victor,Jetways and all that can help but I would like to cut out traffic areas (circles) and other color overlays. An example is around Panama and going east across the top of South America. I've tried the manual and haven't found anything but could have missed it. I really like the new feature of showing only airports that have been altered. Not sure what's happening but I've tried it in areas where there haven't been any afaik altered airports. Little Navmap is my favorite addon at the moment, not only is it possible to make flightplans, import flightplans, watch ai airplanes, a moving map and now ALSO AI ships, which is what I have been hoping to see in an addon for a long time. When you look through the manual for Henriks first ai ship package, there's pictures of most of them, so I wondered if it would be possible when we click on one of the ships to see a picture of it, beside or under the info.?

Can I assume that the following only applies during the building of the database, or does LM scan the directories at other times? Given the huge amount of AI Ships that Henrik has released is there a possibility that LM might one day include the ability to track ai ship traffic in addition to ai aircraft? Might be a neat way to do some ship spotting during over the ocean flights. Ernie

Hello. I have been using this fantastic program and find it very useful for flight planning and following. Yesterday I dragged the map window to a second monitor, using my first monitor for the other windows of LNM (flight plan, info,etc.). I shut down as normal. Today when I opened LNM I no longer have the map window on the 2nd monitor. The other windows show fine on the first monitor. Is there a way to get the map display open again? A menu option or keypress? Any help or guidance would be gratefully appreciated. I am using P3D. Thank you.

Hello folks, im having a error problem of "invalid socket error 11". All connection have not changed. Lil Nav on main computer shows connected to sim. On Second computer Lil Nav. is continuing to try to connect. The host name is correct and the port (51968). Not for sure where to go from here.
