Started using this neat bit of kit since moving over to V4.2. I have a question, I use to use Flight Sim commander which allowed me to view the gates that were in the sim at each airport, now I may be missing something, but does Little Navmap have that ability? I always like to study the map first to determine which gate is suitable, and for taxiing purposes. Using online charts isn't a solution, as sometimes I fly into default airports. Thanks! Darren

Just found Little navmap...super nice program and steadily getting to grips with it. Is there a way of importing flight plan strings into Little navmap? If so, is it best to leave off the SID/STAR and input these in later, as most of my flight plans do not include the SID/STAR, as I sort these out when the flight is being loaded.

I want ro like this Program but I cannot load the FMS files into X-Plane. Sure I can save them into X-Plane FMS folder but they are small (1 - 4 Mb) the flightplans that I load from another planner are 17 - Mb and they work satisfactorily. Am I missing something, but I cannot see how to save files from Little NavMap any larger. Anybody got a solution, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has tried this combo? Thanks

Hello, are there any possibilities to export flightpans to the new MADDOG X from Leonardo (*.mdr)? If it's not possible now, are there intentions to implement this feature ? greetings Gerolamo

It seems that LNM cannot generate a transatlantic flight plan. Example ENGM - CYHZ will return "Cannot find route. Try another routing type or create flight plan manually" error. LNM will generate the plan from ENGM to BIKF, as a test, without problems. It will not generate BIKF to CYHZ. Using High Altitude/Jet airways option. LNM v1.8.5. Is LNM no able to generate across the pond flight plans, or I am doing something wrong? Thnx. Cheers

hi I'm a newbie with little nav map. it looks fantastic and I'm slowly getting the hang of it. ive read the manual but cannot find what I'm looking for. is there any way I can manually enter the visual reference points found around most uk airports? as shown in the pooleys flight guide they aid vfr navigation and are used as reporting points for ATC. or is it possibly in the pipeline for a future release?

Hi, I just started using Little navmap and I need some help with Navigraph navdata. I have all my add-on's, simbrief and fsx synced to AIRAC1606. I know it's quite old but to me the main thing is that I use the same AIRAC platform wide and I don't want to update all my programs every new cycle, so I stick to this one. I have the AIRAC1606 available in different formats, but not in the Little navmap version. Would it be possible to convert the native navdata (or other format I have) to the required Little navmap usable format? Cheers, Luc

Hi, First of all, thank you so much for an amazing piece of software. I am currently learning how to use an aircraft where the flight plans are entered manually via the Upfront Controller (UFC) and the coordinates need to be entered in DDM format (Degrees, Decimal Minutes). In Little Navmap I have changed the units in the settings to display DDM, and it does show DDM coordinates when you click on the waypoint to view the information for example, but when exported as a pln file the coordinates are shown in Degrees, Minutes, Seconds format. Is there any way to change this, or another way I can export the coordinates of my flight plan with the waypoints in DDM fo…

I installed LNM last week and p3d seems to close down ( not crash as there is no error report ) when I start a descent - I also recently updated p3d to v4.2. Is LNM compatible with 4.2 ? Has anyone else experienced the same problem ?

As you know if your an XPlane user there are many airports with just hard runways and no buildings. Within LittleNav map is there a way to disable these airports so I don't land and find no scenery? Sometimes I like to just VFR and land in new locations but an immersion killer when I land with no airport buildings. It appears there are two options to display airports 1. Force Map to show add on airports 2. Show airports with hard runways on map Option 1 appears to display scenery I have in my Custom Scenery folder (ie airports I have downloaded either freeware or payware) Option 2 appears to show all airports in the XP database (buildings or n…

Hi guys I don't know how this has happened, it never used to be this way. In XP11 I can no longer see the taxiway lines and gate numbers zoomed into the airport diagram. If I change to P3D in the Scenery Library menu I can see all taxiways and gate numbers. I've tried to reload the XP11 scenery library but no change. I'm really confused because it "used" to work just fine. I saw another thread which suggested don't select "navigraph for all features", I currently have selected "navigraph for navaids and procedures". I can back this up with screenshots if needed. Any ideas? Thanks Sid

On one flight I opened LittleNavMap and all I got was a white screen. All of the symbols were at the top, but couldn't show a map. I un-installed then re-installed but found the same blank page.

I am using the Reality XP GTN 750. I am trying to export a plan to work with the GTN 750. When I select the export function I get the following message: "Flight Plan must have a valid airport as start and destination and will not be usable by the Simulator." The flight plan I am trying to export starts at CYQH, Watson Lake and the destination is a user waypoint. What am I missing? Thanks, Danny

've been using a 27" monitor but I have a spare monitor in the closet that I would like to utilize. Is there an article that I can go to find out how to hook it up. I'm not very computer literate so hopefully the instructions would be fairly simple. I would like to use the extra monitor for my LittleNavMap.

I'll add my thanks for this program, outstanding piece of work! Everything works as far as I can tell so this may just be a feature request. I'm using this with XPlane11 and usually load the GTN750 GPS. Got the flight plan, start flying, LNM's map is moving, everything is good. Here's the 'however'. Say my route is A--B--C--D and after B I decide to go direct to D. No problem with the GTN750, just hit direct and away we go. The course in the GTN750 changes to show the new direction but the LNM doesn't change it's route, it just looks like you're going off course. I tried in the flight plan section to "Activate Flight Plan Leg" but that didn't …

What a fantastic add-on for FSX! Every time I use it, I learn something new about it's functionalities. I'm just blown away by the intricacies of this program. That's why I made my contribution. I do have one question/issue: is there a way to have the city/landscape names, etc. displayed in English rather than the language of the country shown on the map? I can do fair with French and some Spanish. My Japanese, Russian, Portuguese (and the rest) language skills are non-existent. I can live without it, but it sure would be handy to find, say, Tokyo without having to resort the the airport code. Thanks. Ken Lamoreaux

Hi, I'm just learning LNM's capabilities. I'm very impressed and also confess I've only skimmed through the manual. 1. I use P3D 4.2 and would like to know the difference between a .pln and a clean.pln, and is it significant since I use the saved .pln file only for PF3's ATC. 2. I have airac1611 in both P3D and LNM, and use the F1GTN750 for navigation. I'm curious about why .gfp plans still generate locked waypoints in the GTN750? This is mere curiousity as I've already found the tick box in LNM Options which takes care of this problem completely. I've quickly become very enthusiastic about this program! Regards, Jim

Suggesting an option that: When we select "Show Procedures" in the context menu of our departure airport, the procedures list automatically selects "Departure Procedures", and when we click it for our destination airport, the list automatically selects "Arrival Procedures". Pretty please?

I am a bit confused as to why I am seeing two different file locations for the same file. Example - I create a flight plan and save it in PLN format - no problem it is where it should be - D:\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Files Then I export that plan to other format Garmin GTN GFP. If I go to the export folder - C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\F1TGTN\FPL - the GFP file is NOT there. When I do a search in my system the file shows up in - C:\Users\Dane\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\F1TGTN\FPL Please help me to understand this or is this a problem? Regards, Dane

Hi Alex, I have a request for a possible future enhancement...nothing pressing, just an idea... I enjoyed Feelthere's MAP! program (basically a Collins AirShow type map like you find on passenger jets) since I used it on an old laptop running in the background. Feelthere hasn't updated it in years and does not work with P3Dv4 at all, nor xPlane obviously. Since LittleNavmap already has the flight plan information, and aircraft info such as altitude, speed, etc., and all the nice maps built in, would it be possible to have a "module" inside the program that you can activate to bring up an Airshow type rotation of information about the flight? It would have…

Hi all So, I just started flying again, and added little nav map to the list of try programs. I tried it on my pc, and it worked perfectly, and opening it on my surface laptop, with touch screen is beautiful! I noticed that the open street map already shows all the taxiway names etc, even better than my pc (with imported (eham) scenery) does. Is there a way to disable the scenery layer on the fly? vkr victor
