(This is all in preparation for trying to get LNM to work with FS2020.) I have Prepar3D v4 installed, and my freshly installed LNM detected P3D's scenery database, but the connection dialog only shows XPlane and remote connection. Did I miss a configuration step? danke, Dave.

Just a short question. I am using cycle 0801 now, but in the case I wanted to get a Navigraph subscription would LNM be able to detect and use the updated AIRAC? What would be the correct way to make LNM detect and use it, if possible at all? Thanks guys.

Hi, as far as my understanding goes, I can only manually add airports, that are not in the database, by adding them as user waypoints. Now I was wondering why I only can use them as waypoints along the route and not as flight plan start? Is there a different path I have to take? Thanks

hello, 2 computers, one has the simulator PC1 (fsx, but also installed here are P3D and X-plane) the second, PC2, has the program "little navmap" networked. I made the connection on PC2 for the simulator via little mapconnect-programma, started up on PC1, and works fine, i can see my plane on PC2 in program little navmap. Now, trying to also load the scenery library on this PC2 (The scenery library is of course on the computer with the sim, PC1) no connection possible, not via network, or via mapped drive...The sim choice blocks me on "X-plane 11", with "reset paths" greyed, there is only that simulator to chose X-plane 11. I'm new to Little Nav Map, so please excuse any misunderstandings. I've started using this with MSFS2020 and really like it. My setup is that I am running my Sim on a PC, and Little Nav Map on a Mac laptop. This works fine and I'm able to connect through the proxy/agent on the sim machine and see my plane, ...etc. However - what I don't have is a DB of Airports from the Sim. I understand that at present we can't read the new MSFS files. However - I'm wondering if there preexisting DB files generated from FSX somewhere that I can just grab and load into Little Nav Map on my Macbook. Does this exist anywhere? Hi Alex, I have reported on such crash in the past, but you said you could never re-produce it. Hi. LNM is the single most important addition to my XPlane11 setup. An excellent application and I have the latest version installed on both PCs and a Mac. This ‘problem’ has occurred on both PC and Mac. Apologies if it is my ignorance or it has been addressed elsewhere. When I add an Arrival Procedure to the Flight plan - the Elevation Profile seems to add extra reflected/upside down terrain images for that part of the flight path. Is this normal ? ( I have a screen grab but don't know how to include it ! ). Many thanks.

Is there a way to move the position of the plane to top of descent? I tried this with Plan-G but the aircraft went to the other side of the world and lost control. Not sure if the fault is with Plan-G or X-Plane. Just wondering if Little NavMap has a method to do the same.

This is difficult for me to explain, but i'll try KMIA is my destination airport. I choose Star ANNEY4 with transition MLB. Now I choose Approach RNAV-Z 30 with its transition FLIPR. My issue is that KAINS and VKZ will cause the route to be irregular. If they are removed then the route seems correct. So flying to VKZ and then to FLIPR does not make sense. Any help would be appreciated. It's a shame that I cannot upload an image.

Since learning how to get Ortho4XP working in P3D I've had a ball exploring the area around my home city. Littlenavmap is fantastic for tracking where I am and where I've been. Is there some way of saving these "free flights" the log book when I haven't created a formal flightplan? As far as I can tell they're lost as each new flight starts which is a shame. Currently a save a screenshot from Littlenavmap along with pics taken during the flight as a record, but would be great if it was possible to have these trips and hours saved to log somehow?

One thought that came to mind while I was using Littlenavmap is I would love to make multiple tabs of the map with my own view settings. As it is now, you can show and hide just about everything which is great. I would love to have, for example, a second tab that I have set up to show airways+VORS+xyz without terrain+ILS plates+abc and switch between the two (or more) views. Just a thought if the dev likes the idea and is looking to add more features.

I just recently found this program and it's fantastic! Thanks for developing it. I was wondering if there has been any thought into adding AIRMET/SIGMET's to the map display. It's the one thing I have discovered I need to check on skyvector if I want to abide by them in my sim :) (I searched the forums and didn't find any other threads about this, apologies if it has been discussed before).

Hi, Firstly, I'm really loving this program and it seems to be the best flight planner/moving map that I've used thus far. However, I've been trying to use the flightplan as a navlog and I haven't discovered a way to have the wind information in the navlog. LNM has a course to fly but doesn't have a heading. I'd like to do a VFR flight (GPS) using little navmap but it's difficult without the wind information. Is there a way to include headings in the flightplan/navlog? Thanks.

LNM is such an excellent programme for which I would like to thank Alex. However there is one complication that I cannot solve whatever I do. I am using P3dv4 but the scenery library in Navmap is stuck on X plane in the library dialogue. There are no other options and the reset option is greyed out, as is the dialogue for loading a scenery.cfg. I suspect it is a simconnect issue. The KEY THING is which simconnect version is required on either or both computers? There is enormous confusion about this because there are so many different versions of simconnect.- specifically that there are two different Sp2 simconnect iterations, one being FSX SP2 simconnect (prior to F…

Hi, until recently, I used Plan-G, now I'm in the transition to Little Navmap and look for a function to highlight or filter my preferred airports. What I mean: In Plan-G, it's possible to create a list (.txt file) with ICAO IDs that will be marked (means: highlighted) on the map with another color as the other airports. I read the topics "Add Custom Airport?" and "Show only addons (airport)" and excluded fsAerodata, ORBX Vector and ORBX Germany North/South (otherwise every german airport is marked as "add-on"), but still see many "add-on airports" around the world that I didn't buy and would never fly to, maybe they come from some ORBX regions or whatever. …

Hi, just installed Little Navmap but I can't seem to connect to my x-plane 11.41 system. I have checked the Little Xpconnect plugin is correctly installed in the plugin folder but LNM doesn't seem to be doing anything, have I missed something? For example, does x-plane 11 have to be running. I also don't see an option to check that LNM is trying to connect to the right X-plane 11 folder (I have a backup folder on the same PC) LNM just shows Connecting XP... but everything else has no information displayed. Hi, I'm running version 2.4.5 revision b694ed83 of Little Navmap on macOS 10.15.6. The program is running fine but throws an error on startup with reference to the last loaded aircraft performance file and file plan. It complains it can't read the files. These are files it was reading and writing to the last time I used the program. When I have a look at the files they have normal file permissions any file would have that I created. I click Close on the error messages and then simply open those files from the Aircraft and Files menus respectively. The program proceeds as normal, no issues. But the next time I run it it will complain again that it can't read…

Hi Alex Sometimes I like to use LNM with all of the toolbars at the top in the off position. Is it possible to create view profiles so that I do not have to keep clicking the toolbars on and off? It would be easier just to go to a user created view profile. Thanks in advance and thanks for a wonderful piece of software.

Hey folks... I am doing a long 2500nm trip for my FSEconomy group. I just figured out how to add waypoints between the two airports (DAOR to HHAS). I love how you can look at the map and then just drag the flight line to each airport along the way. However, at the bottom of the LNM window, it shows the flight as one continuous journey: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vTPMWuGaw7lAIFgpXcglGm5csXmMHM9a/view?usp=sharing I think anyway? So what I want to do is tell Little Navmap "each airport on the journey is a landing." Is there any way to do this? Or will LNM not care if that's how I fly the route? I use FSX Steam Edition, and have just come back to the hobby after a gap of a year or two. I don't have any payware aircraft (though I do spend money on scenery!) so use the freeware aircraft available as well as the stock ones, so no real FMS! Yesterday I was able to put together a flight plan using Little Nav Map, and the aircraft flew the SID and onward flight without any problem - I saved the plan in .pln format. Today I tried to use the same flight plan and all the intermediate fixes in the flight plan (for instance in the SID) have disappeared in FSX (but not in Little Nav Map of course). Clearly I am doing something wrong! A quick 2nd question …
