I couldn't find any topics about this issue, so presume nobody else is having it. I presume it's a bug as far as I can tell I have exhausted all options to prevent this from happening in the options menu. The default zoom level which LNM jumps to when centering on the plane after 10 seconds seems to just be random. On some flights it jumps to a very small scale zoom level like 0.5nm, on others though it jumps to a very large scale zoom level like 200nm, on odd occasions it jumps to my preferred zoom level (usually around 3.7nm). With no internet connection Little Navmap crashes. It occurs after a few minutes, probably at a weather update, and even when in offline mode. It began with the beta. Windows Application log: Program: littlenavmap.exe Module: libstdc++-6.dll Exception code: 0x40000015 Error offset: 0x0001f9c3 I hope it provide some useful info. First: After creating/saving a new PLN for P3D5 - start P3D - go to Navigation\flight planner - select the saved PLN - 'Load' ~~~ an error window with options to close or wait until fixed - wait for 'fix' (takes from 2 to 6 minutes!) a very large blocky/pixelated partial map appears - after a further few minutes the PLN appears as expected and can be used! However, sometimes the system just crashes while waiting for the 'fix' to work 😞 Second: in use, the map page keeps changing to 12 miles scale - change scale to (say) 100 miles - changes to 100 - but after about 20 seconds changes back to 12 miles!!! Hi! I am making flightplans for a group of bushflying pilots on a South America tour. I have one master flightplan that is more for vectoring across the continent, and I need to make a separate flightplan for the specific group flight of about 1-2 hours in lenght. I want to copy the waypoints from the master flightplan (that is like 8000nm long in total) and make a separate smaller flightplan for that day that people can use to import into MSF or just follow along in LNM. How do I do that? When I highlight the waypoints I want to copy in the master flightplan, I cant seem to paste them in a new flightplan. I get all sorts of weird info copied over like mhz, cou…

Hi, In noticed in 2.6.0 beta that the heading of legs on the map display are gone. Now it only shows distance. Is there a way to display the magnetic heading again? I'm sure it was there in previous versions as I used it a lot. Thanks! -Emile.

When i use LNM to find radio freq data for various airports, it will only show the ATIS freq and one single tower com freq (always the lowest in the list). Example: EBAW: FS gives: ATIS: 124.205 - GROUND: 121.905 - TOWER: 119.700 - TOWER 135.205 LNM gives: ATIS: 124.200 - TOWER: 119.700 Now with the LNM tower info not complete i'm left in the dark when using the returned tower freq in FS that i pull from LNM. FS uses 135,205 in game as tower freq for comms at EBAW and although it also mentions 119,700 as freq, i never get any ATC on this freq, So the info returned by LNM is useless. Any suggestions on getting the entire com freqs to show in LNM?

Hello A quick question, I have been using Little Nav Map for quite some time, in a network, with P3dV4.5 Now I have built a new PC for both P3Dv5 and MSFS 2020. Can I just install one copy of little Nav Map to work with both , or i have to install two separate versions. Where can I find documentation on how to do it? Thanks and regards Juan

I want to first off say that I love this application after I finally resolved the issue with importing the new maps last week. I have been messing around with exporting and importing flight plans into and out of FS2020. I am running the latest navigraph in both LNM and FS2020 and loaded the scene library. What I am trying to understand is why when I export pln files to FS2020 the approaches don't seem to show what was loaded in LNM and when I got to add the approach in FS2020 the flightplan completely changes automatically. Any idea what I am doing wrong or the best practice I should be using when trying to pull in flight plans from LNM? Mark

Hello, Today the beta 2.6.0 has begun to fail in my computer. When I open the program, it starts with the latest flighplan loaded. Then, the following happens: 1. If I delete the legs in flight plan or reset to create a new one, at the moment I select save flight plan, the program carries me to the desktop with no error window. 2. If I press the Open plan option in menu, the program carries me to the desktop with no error window. 3. If I go to recently opened flight plans, and select one on the list, the flight plan loads with no problem. What can be happening?

I am planning a 3400nm trip in the concord with little nav map (love this tool), but I notice that I have to be zoomed in very close in the map for it to show waypoints. That is a bit of a hassle, I was wondering if there is an option setting to make the threshold for it to dissapear be a bit further out?

Have been enjoying LNM for a few months now ~~~ excellent programme which I now broadcast far and wide! Recently installed the beta v2.6 which I have now uninstalled for a number of reasons e.g. no option to create Navaid plan; VOR pln... Re-installed v2.4 but now unable to establish my Home View!!! I had it before the update... Can't get away from the default Home position which is about 500 nm south of Accra! Would appreciate some help getting back home EGNM)!

Since the MSFS patch 1.9.3 I can't export approaches anymore. I have loadet the scenry library of MSFS and have navigraph disabled. I can see and configure approaches in LNM but when I import the PLN into the sim there is no approach selected. And when I select one from the dropdown menu the complete flight plan gets messed up. worked fine previeously. not sure if it's LNM beta 2.6.1 or MSFS 2020 beta 1.9.3 ... (oh wait... I forgot it's not a beta xD but anyways...) and since I'm quite new to this all I can't ensure I'm doing it all right. I also deinstalled LNM completely and reinstalled to make sure all is fine on that side, but the problem is still there. …

I suppose there is nothing you can do about it but yesterday I flew over Japan in MSFS (as a lot of people probably did yesterday 🙂 ) and I noticed the names of towns etc. on the map were all in Japanese characters.... I do know I can change maps and see those names written in regular characters but I do like to use the Open Straat Map (or Topo) and I wondered if there is any way I can make OSM to show all names etc. in western characters? So no more Japanese, Russian, whatever? I mainly use LNM as a moving map to see which city or lake etc. I am flying over.

when I create the flightplan on littenavmap it is as I want it but when I load it on MSFS2020 the flight plan is wrong and it only shows me the airports and a point in africa which is the equator

Trying to take off from LICE: it's available in MSFS but not in LNM? I did import the MSFS database. Seems like only the airports with procedures (green icon in MSFS) are imported and not the ones without (brown icon)...?

In 2.6.0 using MSFS database, hover mouse over airport - info popup shows Airport ICAO but not the name. P3D db shows both. Vic

Hello everybody, LNM is one of the best softwares I have come across in the last few years. I am using it now regularly with MSFS 2020. There are so many great features that it feels almost unpleasant to make wishes here. But the only thing I can think of getting better at the moment is the logbook. I would love to see departure and arrival time, endurance of the flight and the flown (not planned!) distance at one glance. I see the data is all there in the single entries, but it's not to be seen in "Window | Search | Logbook". Also, it would be awesome if there would be a summary of hours flown and takeoffs / landings and, as a bonus, a summary of VFR …

Hi Alex, Thanks for the latest updates/betas! I just wanted to make a quick comment about the behavior of the application when the "Allow to undock the map window" box is checked. Even if I don't actually undock the map, the layout gets resized every time I launch LNM. When the box is not checked, the layout is saved without issues. Not a big deal since I don't normally use the option, but I just wanted to let you know. Cheers, Tym

I have never used Little Navmap and am looking forward to diving in. My initial issue is that FS2020 is not shown in the Scenery Library dropdown and I cannot figure out how to get the scenery loaded. The base program is installed on my "C:" drive and the packages are installed at D:\FS2020. I do not have any add-on sceneries, just some liveries and an aircraft. X-Plane 11 is the only program shown in the Load Scenery Library dropdown for Simulator: so I have no idea how to properly point to the scenery data in FS2020. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hi, I'm a new user of LNM with MSFS so possibly user error, but... when creating a flightplan from EGKK, I can see all of the SIDs apart from the FRANE1X/FRANE1Z departures. All of the other main ones are there, including some older ones such as the SAM SIDs, but no FRANE? Is there a way I can update/add SIDs that should be there? Is there a different directory that i need to be sourcing from? Thanks, Jack

I exported a VFR flight plan with just one user created waypoint but when loading it in MSFS it shows as IFR. If I then try to change it to VFR inside the sim it resets the plan and makes it direct. How can I make it accept the plan as VFR? Thanks.

Hi, Is it possible to completely stop the autscrolling and zoom back to the aircraft location when connected to MSFS? I've tried different settings in Simulator Aircraft in Options to no avail. Both the zoom and location changes constantly, just time between resets seems possible to set. I'd prefer to only scroll/zoom manually even if the ac might exit the map sometimes. Btw, many thanks for your hard work on creating this splendid tool! Won't fly without it now:) Mats
