Good evening! I continued searching for the reason, why LNM does not show X-Plane-Multiplayer from the local connection. Communities like VATSIM have a whazzup-file to locate the other planes, but they only allow a reading frequency of 2 minutes. This is to long for monitoring co-flyers in visual flights (for example). Some weeks ago I asked Alex for the reason and he told me, that every plane, which is shown on the X-Plane-Map is also shown in LNM (and that's definitely right!). When I click on the Search, Flight Planning, Information, or Simulator Aircraft icon all four windows either open or close. That's not a bad thing, in fact I wish I there was a option to do something similar with the tool bars or at least be able to save different window states. That would allow for turning off everything, but the map window and then quickly returning to a second view. 😊 But maybe there already is and I haven't Ernie

First many thanks for this simply fantastic tool! I made a performance record for Manfred Jahn´s DC-3 and it gave me the results for the needed amount ov Avgas, but for unknown reasons it calculates the relation of volume (liters) and weight (kg) with the factor 0.07 instead of 0.7 (or as said in Wikipedia 0.73 to 0.75): https://www.dropbox.com/s/ubbvi7thjrsg3ui/LNV Fuel.JPG?dl=0 Did I misconfigure that somewhere (and where is that accessible?) or is it a bug? Hi, just changed fromPlan-G to Little Nav. I'm getting "Error Initializing SSL subsystem, Unable to use encrypted network connections (ie HTTPS)" I downloaded and installed vcredist.x64 and x86. Still get error Running P3D 4.5, Windows 10. Not sure where to go from here - any suggestions?

Hello, I'm new to Little Nav Map. I'm using it for P3D and XP. But when I run it I get this message box and when I click on the link it takes me to a bunch of maps and then I can download a lot of zip files. Well, I downloaded one but have no idea where to put the files. Can someone please tell me what I need to do next? Any help will really be appreciated.

After running scenery library database function in LNM I get the following error: Database Error I have sent the error before, but not heard anything so I thought I would try here.

When I click "Aircraft" in the top of the toolbar a little menu appears, when I choose and click on "New Aircraft Performance" (to create a new performance for a new aircraft) no screen appears to fill in. What to do?

Hi Alex, Just one suggestion - similar to Ernie's old FSBuild - would it be too much trouble to "remember" your export choices and export to all chosen with the single click of a button ? I quite frequently - have to go back in - if I change aircraft or such to correct the omission - exported for GTN decided to switch to GNS - stuff like that... Also - by default - if it could just overwrite (with a prompt) any previous entries for the same airport pair - it would work better for me - as I don't need multiple saved airport pairs in my GTN or GNS... As it is now - it just adds another flight plan for the same airport pair... Thanks for the consideration... …

Hi, I have a strange problem. When I try to load the P3D standard scenery into lnm, it crashes to desktop. I checked the log and started to exclude the bgl files which seem to cause the crash, but after excluding 22 files I'm still at 10% of loading when lnm crashes. Can you think of any solution to this? Version is 2.2.4. Alex, I've probably already asked and you've answered, but since I can't find the thread I'll ask again. Is there anyway to resize the Flight Plan - Information - Search window beyond what it can be shrunk? I like having it visible, but would like the ability to either make it smaller via the mouse (can already make it bigger) or have some type of hide/unhide click spot similar to the Adobe PDF view and some other apps I've seen. I guess that I'm not much into doing the undock thing with the map window. Mostly because I struggle to get everything back the way I like it. Could you please, in the next release, extend airport and NAVAID data to include city and state/geographic area. I think it used to be there. Many city names are across states. Thanks.

Hello, I schould like to use the "Lighthouse" symbol i made .png file. Not completely clear in the manual for me, i named it "userpoint_Lighthouse" Placed it in the settings directory, c:\users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\ABarthel, but nothing happens, cant find my lighthouse in the list Placed it in the default directory of LNM, same problem. First of all "Thank You" for providing this wonderful FREE software. I am running FSX boxed w/all updates on a Windows 10 computer. I have a ton of ORBX scenery including ORBX's KMRY Monterey Regional Airport.. I would like to make a VFR flight plan starting at KMRY to KTVL, Lake Tahoe (ORBX scenery I have installed). When I select KMRY as departing airport it shows Monterey Peninsula and not the Regional Airport scenery. Can you help me resolve this issue. Without a doubt it's something I have or have not done and not your software. Thank You, greatful for any help you can provide.

Hi Alex, I'm using little nav map to synchronize the coordinates with Avi Tab. The reason I'm doing that manually rather then directly from LittleNav is because sometimes the airport diagram is not accurate/full (depends on the creator of the airpot) vs. Navigraph charts. mostly it worked, until I found that the tool does not show negative coordinates. Is there an option to see it as negative coordinates ? Doron.

Currently flying between New Zealand and South America. My TRUE heading is currently 90degTrue. But the compass rose in LNM shows only 57degMagnetic. This is useless/dangerous especially when in areas with large variations. Is it possible to set LNM to show True compass data as the primary when in such areas? I can't find it in the menus or help. I find it strange that you can't change this. Indeed I remember being in the cockpit of an A340 years ago when at very high north latitudes, and indeed the FMC would not even let the pilot switch to Magnetic data, offering only True at those latitudes. Hello, It has been a very good idea to create flight plans having flightgear format but now I guess it is possible to activate a connection between LNM and FG. Perhaps a specific file is to be added in FG directories ? In the manual there is only (or I have not found) a description of what to do for FSX/P3D, XP and a remote simulator. What is the solution ? Is there a way to add landing on a multiple leg VFR flight plan.

Today, I upgraded Nvidia GTX 980 card to version 431.60 for Win10/64. Following the upgrade, Little NavConnect would not connect using Little Navmap on separate PC for either P3Dv4 or XP11. I rolled back to version 431.36 which resolved issue and restored connectivity. Just wanted to report for any other users with similar issues and looking for recommendations going forward.

For some reason when I click on load..it show x-plane in the lower box although I select p3dv4 in the upper menu selection...How do I change that so I can update data. Thank you, Bob M.

Hi Alex, WIII to VTBS J route, STAR LEBI3D, approach BS488-Z. I honestly don't know what happens in real life with this pattern, but I imagine the zigzag is not valid. (after removing the dup). In the FMC I can remove the VTBS waypoint and connect ENKAA to LONNY making it a logic pattern. Tried to do that in the tool, but it won't allow manipulating the STAR points. Is this something you think you can add in the future ? Thanks, Doron.

Hi Alex, I let the tool generate a VOR to VOR flight. I want to stay 5500 ft AGL at any part of the flight. The tools suggests a 10,500 ft alt (I used VFR rules) based I imagine on the highest point in the route. Is there a way to manually insert different altitude limitations at different way points of the flight plan ? (kind or "right click" a point and ability to insert limitations ?) Thanks, Doron.
