RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

I installed Reality-XP 650 and use a RealSimGear 650 hardware. I also use RealSimGear 530 to display the X-Plane 12 530. All this on the Laminar C-172S The 530 remains mapped to NAV1/COM1 in conflict with the 650. I did assure the RealSimGear control panel maps COM1 to 650 and COM2 to 530. Spinning the 530 knobs changes the frequencies in the 430 but not the 530. All I'm trying to do is map the 650 as COM1/NAV1 and the X-plane 530 as COM2/NAV2. Doesn't seem to work. Can't believe I'm the first to try this. Is there any support from Reality-XP for this?

I recently acquired and installed the RealSimGear 650 and the Reality-XP GNS650 to go with it. I also have a RealSimGear GNS 530. I want to use the GTN650 to map to COM1 and NAV1 and the X-Plane 530 to map to COM2 / NAV2. The 650 works fine on COM1 / NAV1 but the RSG 530 hardware controls the x-plane 430 and the 530 display is essentially static. It's like the RSG 530 buttons are now mapped to the XP 430. Any suggesting as to how to get the RSG 530 with XP 530 pop out to function as a true NAV2? For NAV2 I want both GPS and VLOC to control the second CDI in the X-plane C-172. Band new user. Love the product. Hated the half hour it took to buy something that should have taken 3 minutes. Honestly, if one of my friends called me to tell me what they were seeing in the purchase process, I'd tell them to keep away from the probably phishing scam. Anyway, a license question: I have a single license. Is it good for either the 650 or 750? IOW, depending on the airplane I might want the full size 750 or the smaller 650. Can I use either so long as I use only one?

Hi! I bought and installed your GTN 750 today. Before doing so I also noted that the included GPS data was from July 2016. Recent enough. But I also use Navigraph and I noticed there is a difference between the Garmin, showing me old and faulty frequencies for airport services, and Navigraph giving me the correct ones. If I understand it correctly it is possible to update the Garmin software for a small fortune, whereas services like Navigraph and Aerosofts Navdatapro are quite affordable. Is there a cheaper way to have the Garmin and Navigraph information synced without taking out a mortgage on my house or starting a new career as a drug kingpin? Or do I hav…

Hi y'all, I purchased the product 3 or 4 years ago. While I've gotten trainer updates, I haven't seen any new features introduced since my purchase. I've noticed what's available for the GTN 750 in "the other" sim and I'm admittedly green with envy. Are there any plans for the project going forward?

Hello, when activate the GTN750 in Airfoillabs C172 the elevator goes light up and down at Ground and Air. Looks like trim. also when Plane is cold and Dark.

I had to reinstall it about 3 times due to problems on my computer, and I'm afraid that I ran out of keys. Is there any way to reset the key usage? Thank you for your attention.

I recently purchased the GTN750 for my procedure training with either X-Plane 11 or 12. At first it showed up (yeah only popup no 3D cockpit integration but fine by me) but did not have any valid database. Apart from that it seems to work as it should but hard to tell without maps, charts or procedures in the database. Twisting frequencies etc seemed to work. Then I ran the Garmin trainer software. Same problem: no valid database. I saw the update to version 6.72 there, ran that and ended up with a valid database in the Garmin trainer and could use it there to create FPL and load procedures etc. But then, it only showed a black screen in X-Plane 11 and 12 so again, u…

It seems I got a problem with updating RealityXP GTN750. I use X-plane 12 with RXP ver 2.5.30. Yesterday I decided to make an upgrade to the newest version of RXP. I ran installer, checked XP12 plugin and pointed Xplane 12 main directory. Instalation was succesfull - now when I run [Windows10-Start]-All Progs-RealityXP-Softw.Updates-GarminGTN750/650Xplane it says I got he newest ("You're up to date: 2.6.0.0) version. So it looks aparently well. When I run Xplane12 and enter the menu of Plugins (Plugins-RealityXPGTN-....-Check updates) it says that I have the 2.6.0.0 ver. Hi, I'm having problems trying to revert back to the default X-Plane 11 Garmin in aircraft that I have RXP enabled. Every time I try to disable RXP using the option in the drop down menu X-Plane 11 crashes every time. I really enjoy using RXP but it's terrible for bush and helicopter flying because for some reason the RXP 750 is missing a lot of unpaved airstrips, helipads and sometimes waypoints are missing as well making navigation impossible. I need to be able to revert back to the default X-Plane Garmin so I can navigate to those places that are not in the RXP database. This leads me to two questions, 1. I recently purchased the RXP GTN 650 and am using it with the X-plane 12, C172. I have 2 touch screen monitors running Air Manager with a knobster. I am unable to get the 650 to swap the comps to nav to tune the nav frequencies. The Garmin trainer would have you push the rotary dial on the bottom right however when I do this in Air Manager nothing happens. Suggestions? Thank you

I am not sure if this has been covered somewhere but I can't seem to find this anywhere. I just bought the GTN 750 and 650 and absolutely love them but they are still "pop ups" and not integrated into the default Baron 58 in xplane12 or the Reality expansion pack for the Baron which I have. Is there a way it can be integrated and replace the default Garmin GPS that comes with the aircraft? Also, if it is possible, can I replace all my GA aircraft default garmin so I can use the GTN from Reality XP also? I have Xplane 12 and hope it can work with that! Thank you in advance, Tom

The Reality GTN 750 is a must have for general aviation aircraft, even for aircraft that doesn't natively support the avionics. It is definitely one of my top 3 plugins for X-Plane, including XP12. I've been running the plugin for years now (I almost feel guilty since I've paid once but been using it for years 🥺). I'm sure this question has been asked before. Are there plans to add additional features to the product like weather radar, etc? I don't know how the folks managed to add more features to the GTN 750 for the other simulator. Hi I'm completely blocked. I purchased Realityxp for the GTN750 Xplane12 and downloaded also the Cessna U206G Stationair DGS series XP from Aerosoft. In the documentation of the plane it's saying that it's compatible with realityxp and that I can use the GTN 750 but in the xplane pop-up plugins I only see the GTN650. The same for the configuration of the plane. only the GTN650. Am I doing something wrong? I'm not so technical. Hope someone have the solution for me. Thanks, Rudolf from France

I've used the GTN 750 for the past couple years without issue. No changes were made... took about a month off from flying due to work.. logged on and flew a few flights. No issues there. Log on the next day and it crashes.. says GTN 750 caused crash. I removed the folder.. flew a few flights.. put the GTN folder back in.. started working again. Flew a few flights and then it crashed again upon loading with the same issue. This time no matter what I do as long as the GTN is in the plugins folder. within 5 seconds of being loaded in for a flight it freezes and crashes.

Hello, I recently had to reinstalled windows and all programs (including X-Plane11). I own the Carenado Bonanza F33A and the vFlyteAir Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee “Modern” airplanes, both support Reality XP GTNs 750/650 respectively. Before I had to reinstall windows and all programs in my PC everything was working great. But now I have an issue when trying to open the RealityXP GTN in these airplanes, the screen is all black with small letters at the bottom showing "Rebooting", no matter what I do after that X-Plane crashes. Hello Can you engage the VNAV function in the RXP GTN 750 within Xplane to get not only the TOD but have the plane follow the X% gradient to each way point on the flight plan in a STAR? I could not find anything on this subject within the RXP Manual. If anyone is aware of a video showing a step by step guide or how to engage and execute this function I would really appreciate some feedback I am flying the Laminar Vision Jet SF50 with G1000. Hello, I have done everything normally ion the install procedure, I went through all of the steps on the Setup app. Unfortunately, on the last page when I press "install," it gives me a popup erro. Internal error: Failed to expand shell folder contant "userdesktop." Thoughts on how to fix it? EDIT: I found out that it may have to do with the location of my desktop folder. My desktop folder is on a network drive (Z: drive) instead of where windows is installed on a drive.
