RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

Previously had the GTN750/650 working fine in Win7 I have only just now ported over my PC to Win10. I downloaded the installer rxpGTN-XPL(2.5.28.6). I also downloaded the Garmin Trainer GarminTrainerSetup_3230. I installed the Trainer, I then installed the GTN. When I fire up XP11.55 I have the menu and it opened up a GTN750 window and said not registered. Quite frankly I don't know how to "reregister". Then I checked the second GTN and it gave me a blank window, and the GTN650 is blank in both window popups. I'm sorry I don't know what to do to get this thing working, Perhaps I have missed a step that I need to do. Please advise. Bryan

Hi, I have Win10 (21H1 64bits) and the lastest nvidia drivers (for gtx 1060) and the lastest RXP GNS430 and GTN750. If i open the XP 11.55r2: Only GTN + Vulkan - crash on start Only GNS + Vulkan - crash on start GNS + GTN + Vulkan - crash on start Only GTN + opengl - all ok Only GNS + opengl - all ok GNS + GTN + opengl - crash almost all the times on start With older versions of XP 11 all ok with vulkan and both RXP modules. Purchased and installed the GTN 750 via the automated installer (RealityXP? Flight1? Avsim?) Nothing appears to have downloaded or installed, no purchase information via email. I've been running the Garmin G5s and GTN650 in XP-11.5. It runs fine except with I tried to run in Vulkan, The G5s and GTN flicker and are not usable. Any suggestions?

When I try to enter a new code and also change transponder mode at the same time, it first shows the new code and the transponder mode, but then quickly changes to 1200 (VFR). I do it a second time and then it takes. The issue seems to be trying to change the transponder code and the mode at the same time. Any combination of changing only one at a time works perfectly. I tried to look for any dref that might shed a light but I cannot find anything. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks and regards,

Hi All, I am using RXP GTN750 with XTrident's Bell 412. When I load a hold at an entry waypoint for a GPS approach the GTN acts exactly as per the real-world aircraft, displaying the hold and sector entry. Unlike the real aircraft though, once at the entry waypoint the XTrident 412 turns to intercepts track to the IAF rather than fly the sector entry and hold. The RXP product appears to be commanding correctly, but the XTrident 412 appears to be following steering commands from elsewhere. Hi, I'm having an issue where my frame rate decreases substantially after a period of using the GTN650 on X-Plane. First, let me start off by saying that I don't have a GPU, and I know that I need one. As anyone that has shopped for a GPU recently can tell you, they are virtually impossible to find. Since I've been unable to purchase one, I've been running with very constrained resources. Back to the issue; I'm able to start up and take off with the GTN650 running and achieve about 22-24FPS. I am going around in circles, so I need some assistance. I successfully purchased and installed the GTN750 and 650 into X-plane and running on JustFlight's Arror and Warrior aircraft. These seem to be able to only fit the 750, with the 650 showing up as a window only. The GTN MOD also displayed the same on SimCoders REP for both Pipers. Good so far it seems. So now I moved to the default C172 so I could display both 750 and 650 as a 3D panel. But when I go to the GTN plugin GTN1 it initializes as a pop out window. I can also open GTN 2 but it too is a pop out window. When I try and force the display to show as a 3D panel via the RealityXP.GTN.ini nothing shows.…

Hello, When using the GTN 750 as integrated into the Carenado 210, I am unable to change the course needle on the HSI when in GPS mode. I have tried multiple combinations of auto-slew on or off, OBS control, and HSI integration and I cannot gain control over the course needle. The course needle works fine in VLOC and with the default GNS 530 in GPS mode. I’m thinking there’s a data ref conflict somewhere that is locking out the course needle with the RXP unit active. I can fly fine using auto-slew, but I would really like control of the needle as intercepting radials to airways or VORs is not currently possible with the GTN. There are a couple …

I use a MacBookPro for X-Plan 11 and I have a JustFlight Archer, to which I'd love to add the GTN. However the literature says I need the GTN sim from Garmin and they only make it for Windows or IOS. Am I out of luck?

I'm sorry but on Avsim searching returns a flood of irrelevant matches (or I am too stupid to figure out how to search within just this section)? Anyway, what do I need to do for the autopilot on the Bell 429 (which is actually the X-Trident Bell 412 autopilot) to follow a GTN 750 holding pattern? In other respects the autopilot flies the procedures from the 750 flight plans. However on arrival at a holding fix, it simply keeps flying straight. If I switch to HDG mode and manually steer it around the hold, the 759 happily reports the turnpoints, and flips the to-from arrow when passing abeam the holding fix after the turn to outbound. XPlane 11.55 with RealityXP Garmin GTN 750/650 2.5.28.6. The GTN650 GPS shows me 0.5 miles away from my location. The location is accurate on Foreflight which is getting the location from XPlane11. How do I correct this issue? I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Garmin Trainer and RealityXP and installed GTN with the trainer option. The GPS used to be accurate. I cannot tell when this stopped working properly. I suspect and update.

Trying to purchase GTN 750 for Xplane. Windows 10 system. Says that the file is potential threat/virus and will not allow completion of download. I disabled Virus protection. Still have the same error. Sounds like a Windows thing but can't figure it out.

Hello, I am part of a flying club that owns a FlyThisSim TouchTrainer BATD. It is full touch-screen and runs X-plane software. We would like to upgrade the existing Garmin 530 units to GTN650 units that match our club airplanes. Do you know if your FlightSim 650 touch plugins would work with our setup? I updated and reinstalled my GTN750 who knew there was an update....anyway just as before I have some strange issues...first off this file that is supposed to be .\ProgramData\Reality XP\Common\GtnTrainer\ exists NOWHERE on my computer I have searched I have checked Hidden My file structure is as follows E:\ProgramData\Garmin\Trainers then I have a databases GTI and Launcher folder that is it. It has been this way since I owned the program. The \Reality XP\Common\ folder or whatever is not anywhere. But the program seems to work ok no clue where it is putting the flight plans either but I have a few I made with the gtn. Speaking of flight plans see the image…

I have been using the Realty GTN 750 on a Windows 10 computer in X-plane 10. I now have a Windows 11 computer running X-plane 11. Can I use the re-install? I got to the point where it said that X-plane 9 or 10 was needed.

Hi Jean-Luc, I'm currently working on some smartcopilot files. I want to synchronize the GTN750 between both pilots and I've already added the differents commands (Home, DTO...) but what is missing is the touchscreen itself. Smartcopilot works by sending datarefs and commands between both computers so I think one way to do it is if you can add two datarefs like : pointer_x and pointer_y which would indicate where the cursor is on the screen and where to click. I’m using the RXP 650 in a plane with GFC700 AP. On RNAV approaches, I’m having an issue where APR mode works fine (intercepts and follows the glidepath), but drops to pitch/roll when passing the FAF. I’m not sure if the problem is with the 650 or something else, but I wonder if anyone else has seen this behavior.

I have got a new PC, still Win10, where I have set up XP11 again. I have copied my complete c:RealityXP (with lic files) to the new computer and installed all my GNS and GTN products. I get invalid license in all products. I have tried the F1 re-registration process, but still get invalid license (but wasn't that process outdated now?). How do I get my RealityXP stuff working again? br Lars

I was reading a thread on this topic in another forum, and the last relevant post was in 2019. How do these units fare in VR for X-Plane? I am highly interested in purchasing the pair, but I only fly the aircraft it would apply to in Virtual Reality. So, it's kind of a deal breaker for me. I appreciate any insights. Thanks, Kaida
