RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

Edit: So for some reason on my 5th try it worked. Decided to watch the download process to make sure it completed. which it did. And everything was fine. Might been a bad internet connection or ghosts, 50/50 chance. Hi! I`ve downloaded the update like always. But when I try to extract the executable I get this error: 0x80004005 Tried using 7zip but it tells me the file is broken. Tried rebooting, downloading multiple times. Any ideas?

Good day, Would like a tutorial on updating both the Garmin Trainer and RXP GTN 650/750 for Xplane 11.55. Step by step instructions would help me out tremendously. I have not done this before in the past. Help much appreciated. Thanks

Hi I'm trying to customise the Air Manager GFC 500 to accurately represent the real thing. One issue is that, if you change the CDI on the GTN from GPS to VLOC, or vice versa (on the real thing), the autopilot will drop into its default roll and pitch hold modes (there's a logic there somewhere). What I need to find is a dataref that the Reality GTN changes when you do this. There must be one, because the G5 models switch between GPS and VLOC - purple to green. But I can't find any suitable dataref that's changing. Anyone know what I should look for? Thanks Paul

I am having issues with loading flight plans i make. I save them in the directory shown in the manual, but when I try to load the plan from the GTN 750...it isnt there. Could someone show me the correct directory/file path they use, so I can compare? Thx

I have purchased a RSG 750 and RSG 650 with the underlying RXP 750 and 650 applications. These are all working happily together. The RSG gear appears as two additional displays, so I have displays 1, 2, and 3. Currently, I pop out the two GTN windows and maximise them on their respective displays (2 and 3) with nobezel=true. Unfortunately, the popped out windows have the title bars which run across the top of display 2 and display 3. If I "un-pop" out each of the RXP 750 and 650 windows, they return to display 1, and with no title bar. I can position them any where on display 1 by modifying the RealityXP.GTN.ini file (left, top, width height setting), but if I set …

I've used this excellent plugin for years and it has been great but recently it won't let X-Plane start anymore. The loading screen gets to "Will initialize plugins" and hangs forever. I uninstalled all of the realityxp stuff and X-Plane started working every time. I reinstalled the GTN and GNS plugins using flight1 and the problem is back. I've looked everywhere and nobody else seems to have this problem. I've tried deleting preferences. I have an fairly old license but this used to work but now I get the message "License invalid: Contact Vendor". So I am now contacting vendor.... I have moved to a new PC, that is the only change I am aware of. /Claes

Previously, I had installed the Garmin Trainer App, and updated the database to the latest cycle (I have a fully paid for Garmin subscription). I downloaded Reality XP GTN750 for XPlane 11 today. When I installed it, it did NOT install Garmin Trainer (as it could see it was already installed) but when I opened the GTN750 in XPlane, it showed NO nav database. Hey, today I bought a GTN750 addon from RealityXP website. I downloaded it and wanted to test it with a King Air 350 from AirFoilLabs studio. I've downloaded this free addon, for one GTN750 inside of my cockpit: https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/51824-airfoillabs-king-air-350-rxp-gtn-725750-hd-50/ . I've installed it properly and jumped into my x plane. Sadly I turn on my avionics and EFIS power switches and garmin panel still stays black. I tried it also with a default C172 and results have been the same.

Hello I had been using the combination of AFL King air 350 with GTN 750 without a problem but today I made a fresh install of both the aircraft and GTN and I probably made a mess... When I load the aircraft with engines running both GTNs working fine. When I press Cold & Dark state and power up again the aircraft I have black screens to the GTNs. I tried to check and unchek the GTN 1 option from the plug in order to go back to default gps and activate again GTN. After submitting F1 credentials for reinstall, it reports an error even though I have an Internet connection and do NOT have any firewall or anti-virus or any other program running. I do have a router as do most people. Is it necessary to open up some ports on the router ?

Bought the GTN750 a few days ago and I've noticed whenver I setup a flightplan in the system when I fly the route, every time I get to a waypoint the GTN doesn't make the turn, and the autopilot system switches off GPS guidance. Not sure why this is happening. I do have the G1000 installed in the planes I'm flying but not using it at all.

Can one use the Reality XP 650 with the Carenado 182T where the G1000 is the default GPS system? I am planning to fly with an organization that has in one plane a G1000 and in another a GTN 650 and a G500. I'd like to use the simulator to practice using these various Garmin units.

Hi Just downloaded RealityXP again but still get a blank screen, it shows up ok but nothing on it, checked my firewall and is ok, F1 says it cannot help so thought I would ask this forum if anyone has had the same problem.

Have flown the King Air successfully with but dual GTN 750s working. Fired up the airplane today and only GTN #1 was working, GTN 2 had a small box saying "rebooting". Also, was unable to manipulated any settings, all locked, in the dropdown settings menu. Any ideas? my software is up to date.

I have a Carenado PC-12, when I turn on the GTN 750 and GTN 650 only the GTN 750 replaces the Generic 530, the 650 doesn't install into the panel. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you.

Is it possible to have 2 GTN1s and one GTN2? The setup should have the first GTN1 on the right FMS for master control with the second GTN1 on the left panel for visuals. The GTN2 should be on the left FMS.

Hi all Hopefully someone can help. I recently purchased the above and noticed that even though the map data in xplane 11 is correct (and say in a g1000 shows info correctly), the details are much older in the gns 750. Isn't it meant to reflect what is actually in xplane 11? Also I've tried to see if I can actually update the map info, but I see no options. (btw I use navigraph, not that it should matter, I have no conflict in xplane itself, only the gns 750). I'm using windows 10 and not the steam version. Any help will be most appreciated, otherwise, I'll have no choice but to get a refund I suppose, which is disappointing.

Hi, I reinstalled windows and now I just get invalid licence on the GTN750. I have kept my original licence and proof of purchase but I can't find how to contact the Vendor. The 750 says contact the vendor. I don't know how to proceed. I tried sticking my licence file in all the file folders, I could think of. I can't understand why it doesn't ask for a serial number when it is installing. I downloaded the new version from the website., unzipped and installed. Shows up in the aircraft and then just freezes with the invalid sign. I installed windows faster than this. Any help would be great.

Hi all I recently purchased the Reality XP GNS 750 hoping that I could just integrate it with a default aircraft in XPlane 11 (not steam), the aircraft I've tried it with just pops up which isn't ideal. I'd like to purchase a PA44 (ideally turbo but I'll take whatever) that'll work fully integrated. Does anyone have any recommendations? I've tried looking around and I keep going in circles. The installer is looking for Xplane 9 instead of Xplane 11. So of course it will not install.

Hi, Waded through the manual and even added an environment variable. Alas just the GTNNAVDATA as that was the only one that matched a path I could find in the latest trainer. I can start the GTN750 from X-Plane but it is clear that the GTN750 is not seeing any database files. All databases are missing. I there an updated path for these files for latest Garmin Trainer? I can then try env. variables. I am attaching the log file show the directory exists. Why does the RXP / F1 Installer always cause such a headache when trying to reinstall????? The whole procedure of downloading the newest installer, then reinstalling, then reactivating, then having to log into to F1 and reactivating your purchase, then trying to revalidate the reinstall with the key file or with the last 4 numbers of the credit card My GTN750 reinstall has succeeded, my GTN650 install has failed.
