RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

Hi, I'm running X-Plane version 11.52r1 & recently updated rxpGTN-XPL to version 2.5.28.2 & the plugin will not operate. The image appears in the aircraft but the screen remains dark & will not finish loading. I tried uninstalling & reinstalling the plugin but the issue remains. I am not a technical person, what am I doing wrong? Thank you for your help.

I want to use the split panel functionality in order to get rid of the audio switches in the center console. When I click on AudioPanel and I activate Split Panel it quickly goes back to the normal one. How do I activate this?

Hello, I cant fit the Garmin trainer on my C:\ drive so I put it on my D:\ drive but Reality is looking for it on my C:\ drive I assume because I get "No Data" Is there a way I can direct it to look in the right location? Like an INI edit? Thanks

I am integrating the GTN750s into the LR King Air C90B. Everything works except for one thing. The CDI needle does not show up in RNAV mode. It does show up in VLOC mode. The CDI button works in sync with the sim. I removed the GNS 530 and 430 but kept the Lua code so that I can "turn them on" before the GTN's. GTN's are now powered from the Avionics bus, as are the phantom GNSs. 1. Am I correct to assume that the GTNs need the original GNSs to be there in some way so that the AP can control the plane from it? 2. Do I have to enable support sim GPS commands for this to work? I need rudimentary help. I just purchased RXP GTN 750 for X-Plane 11 on 2/16/21 running on a Windows 10 64bit. I just want to get it to work on the default 172 by laminar research. I went through all of the installation steps and started up X-plane. When I load a flight, and go into the plug-ins menu, all I'm able to do is get a 2D window of the bezel to pop up. The trainer does not load. It's just a black screen. The trainer did come up on it's own during the original installation. I have no idea how to get it to show up on the actual panel and replace the default 530 on the panel. Is there some specialized knowledge I need to make that happen? I've searched on …

Hello, I have used RXP for months now with no problems, however with the latest update 2.5.28.2 I am beginning to get false positives from McAfee regarding the file C:\Program Files (x86)\Reality XP\rxpGtnSim32.dll If I disable the Real-Time Scanning the plugin will work as normal. But if I do not, McAfee will find the file and delete it even with it excluded. I know the file is safe, I just want to be able to use it without disabling my AV.

Hi When I pop out the RXP GTN650 in Xplane 11 and drag it over to my Realsimgear unit the toolbar and taskbar can still be seen. This is irritating to look at but worse is if I flip flop the frequencies it is possible to close the window by touching the X (top right) in mid flight. How can I get rid of the toolbar / taskbar? Please help.

Is it still the one form August 2019? Also, I have seen this question asked before, but can't find any good answer for it - I have a real world Garmin 430w in my PA28R-200 Arrow. I have a Garmin subscription that gives me updates every 28 days. I update the 430w via the card writer (download the data via my mac and use the card writer). Can I use this data to update the RXP GTN 750/650 database? If not, is there any way to get updated data for the RXP 7…

Can my original purchase of RXP license key be used again on my new built compute or is it another purchase? I searched through the FAQ and didn't see this mentioned. Thanks, Mikemike

Thank you for your suggestions, but I have applied them and others before with no avail. HOWEVER: when reinstalling and accepting ALL presets (I had installed to my D:\ drive before to not clutter my system drive to much...) the instruments appear in X-Plane 11.52 now. Therefore I would suggest to leave out the option to change the paths and simply let the customer accept the necessary settings instead of confusing them with that option. Now the only wish I have left is to use the trainer as standalone program to do some training (as the name suggests 😧 ) Thanks and have fun Juergen

I have reinstalled my RXP GTN750 after have making some reinstall of Xplane. Everything starts smooth but my licence file seems to be incorrect : At start of the GTN it says invalid licence and after a few minutes flying its says also invalid licence. Where do I do to open a ticket, the install system of F1 is quiet cumbersome and I was not successfull to find my original .lic files... thanks

I got the GTN 750 finally working again but, as before it works within the plugins menu but the place where it goes in the panel is a blank outline of the unit. I have watched the Brian Pfeffer video many times and followed his instructions. David Rendon posted a video with exactly the same issue I am having. I looked it up in the Reality XP GTN 750 manual and had a friend who worked many years for Oracle and we could not figure it out. Can anyone help. Gene Comroe

I just purchased the GTN750 for X-Plane I am trying to use it in Just Flight's Arrow III. I can't turn it on. Even if I set power to Always on, it won't. How do I turn it on? I have the master switch and avionics on in my saitek panel. Windows 10, 64 bit, latest X-Plane.

Is there an updated tutorial on installing GTN650 (purchased through Reality-XP) into Alabeo Cardinal 177 (purchased through Carenado)? 2 issues - 1. Unit floats and I am unable to get it into the panel and 2. it does not turn on - dark, no power. Original Garmin 530 is powered up but can't get GTN650 to work. Have been unsuccessful after editing ini files etc. I've seen numerous videos explaining the use of texture edits and edits to ini files, but these are all 3 to 5 years old. Any recent updates that could assist?

I see a lot of discussion about updating the navigation data - which I gather is basically not possible. This is a problem, but probably not too serious. I was wondering if there is any way to add charts? The system only has the USA charts I believe, and for most of the world that is of limited use. I see that there is a /Charts folder that contains a lot of *.fca files. These are basically zip files with *.tpc files in them. I have no idea what the tpc files are. It seems like it might be possible to convert PDF files to this mysterious format. Any ideas??

Downloaded the Reality XP GTN 750 but when I open the plane, in the space where the navigator would be, says “go to documents file inside of aircraft folder and open “Reality XP configuration example.pdf” but it doesn’t exist in my folder

Hello everyone, I ran into a problem while setting up the GTN 750 in one of my aircrafts: If I change any settings in the GTN750 settings window in X-Plane and click on accept everything seems fine. From that point on I am not able to reopen the settings window, tho. Furthermore, the sim crashes if I try to close it or if I try to load another aircraft. The result is that my new GTN settings are not getting saved. Is there someone who experienced this and knows how to help? Kind regards, Franz-Niklas

Every time I do a takeoff and landing on an aircraft using the Reality XP GTN 750 it calls out "Traffic". Is there a way to stop this and still get traffic alerts while airborne? This is becomming very annoying. Also I am using Traffic Global. Could that have something to do with this issue?

Today I spent hours troubleshooting why I could not see new flight plans in my import folder for the Flight1 GTN 750. I searched everywhere to determine where the files were that I was seeing when I tried to import a flight plan and determine why new flight plans were not showing up when I tried to import them. I finally stumbled across the answer by comparing the starting and ending flight plans in the GTN 750 window to the flight plans in the import folder in windows explorer. Just purchased the RXP GTN and the setup claims that the Garmin Trainer installer will be installed from RXP servers during installation. That doesn't seem to be happening. Was hoping to paste an image of the onscreen error but do not see how. It says it cannot find Garminsetuptrainer_2300.exe looking in two different locations. Honestly, the RXP purchase and installation is way too fragile. What am I to do? I'm downloading the trainer from Garmin to see if I can put the trainer installer where the RXP GTN install is looking for it, but it is a 2.6GB download so it is taking a while, and then probably will not fix my problem.
