RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

XP v11.26 | Garmin Trainer 6.50 | GTN 750 v 2.5.9.0 This problem predated the most recent updates (trainer and GTN 750) and I have had it running as expected for a short while. After this happened, I've just been troubleshooting and trying various approaches to resolve it, hoping it'll submit. However, this is not the case. I've reinstalled both the trainer and 750 as well as updated with the same outcome. POPOUT works fine. Panel is a blank screen. Oh and this is in the Carenado 690B Turbo Cmdr. There are log files where they're supposed to be and only contain the two lines, version and INFO. The RealityXP.GTN.ini is in the 690B Turbo Cmdr aircraft folder and appea…

The actual GTN got 2 physical rotary knobs, one is for the Frequency adjustment and the other is volume & squelch, I'm wondering if there is a way to assign knobs in X-Plane for those to function as the RW one Cheers Yair

Hi, After a crash of my laptop I did a system recovery and also put my x-planet 11 back on my disk from a backup. When I started my x-plane I got a beta of x-plane 11 30b3. When I chose my plane, I noticed that my gtn 750 appeared on the screen but I can not turn it on. see mij screenshot I have then downloaded and installed my GTN 750 but the same result I also do not see any log files in my documents What is the problem?

I'm trying out XP11.30 beta 5. When I launch RXP750, it comes on with the dreaded blank screen. There is this one line (very bottom entry) in rxpGtnSim.dll.log that does not appear in my XP11.26 copy where RXP750 works just fine. Can someone explain what this is? I'm assuming it's some sort of error that indicates why the screen comes up blank. I purchased the 650 GTN and followed the installer instructions but I don't see the 650 under my plug in menu. I see the 750. I have found the whole installation process confusing and the frustrating. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Any initial thoughts oe next steps? Thank you

Hi, I'm not sure if its to the GTN 750 related to this issue, but the CDI goes crazy every time autopilot NAV option is enable and GPS. On the GTN 750 CDI is enable and follows the flight plan, but the HSI is rolling ln every direction with no control. Cheers Jaime Monterrey, Mexico

I was looking at buying the GTN750 as Aerobask have removed the function from their Panthera and Eclipse due to it not being able to work correctly in 11.20 or later versions of XP. Before I buy though I just wanted to make sure that the terrain still works fully in the RXP version?

Hello, I *think* I have everything properly set up, yet I cannot get past having the dreaded black screen. I can launch the GTN 750 trainer, click through the menus, etc. I can launch X-Plane 11 and make selections in the Reality XP GTN Plugin. Log files are being written. Simple Questions - Does the Trainer need to be running prior to launching X-Plane or does the plugin launch the trainer when requested? Where is the Trainer supposed to be installed? I just got the RXP GTN 750, I'm using it on the Carenado PC-12, I'm having an issue where my course knob just tweaks out and turns wherever it wants to turn by itself. there is no relative pattern of where it turns, it's completely random, rendering the NAV mode unusable.

I have purchased the Reality XP GTN 750 for X-Plane. I have installed this successfully on my main computer. However I also have X-Plane installed on a second computer a laptop which I use occasionally when I get together with flight sim friends at a village hall for a day of flight sim. This second computer the laptop would only be used when the main computer is not being used at the same time. I presumed the Reality XP would allow this but when I tried to install the Reality XP it says the Licence is invalid on my laptop -contact vendor.. Hello, I have come to a problem which I didnt find documented anywhere else on this forum. I am using XPL11 and the GTN 650+750. Both gauges work nicely (I am keeping them in popup undocked window on my two touchscreen displays), but sometimes they freeze. Sometimes I can fly the whole day and they are ok, sometimes they freeze after 3 hours of flying, sometimes they freeze after 5 minutes of standing on apron. They freeze worldwide, regardless of location. When they freeze, the whole GTN display remains as it was, but nothing is clickable, nothing moves - just a stationary image. I have the F1 GTN 650 and 750 units and to my disappointment, there's no crossfill support whatsoever. I have mentioned to them about adding this, but it's been almost 2 years and nothing. So I'm really hoping that RXP units will have crossfill support. I know the RXP GNS 430/540 units had this feature and it's really useful. Do the GTN units have crossfill? and if not, will there be any plans for adding it in a future update?

I have a quick question. I've just downloaded and am now trying to install Reality XP Garmin GTN. But it's asking me where to install the files - and I have no idea how I should answer. It's on the "Setup - Reality XP Garmin GTN (X-Plane)" screen. It says: Select the X-Plane 11 folder: Where should flight simulation files be stored? Simulator files, like gauges and plugins, will be stored in the following folder." So what does that mean? Is it asking me for the root X-Plane 11 folder? Or is it asking for the actual folder where files like gauges and plugins are stored? Thanks!

I was unable to use NAV on the autopilot with the RXP GTN 750. HDG IAS ALT worked fine. The problem is the course flies nearly opposite the direction it is supposed to go. This is highly likely related to XPlane autopilot changes so I wanted to be sure you are aware while XPlane is still in beta. I tested in a couple of helicopters, Tom Woods Bell 429 and Dreamfoil Bell 407 with same result. I was in GPS direct-to mode. I did not have time to test in GA Airplanes. I have a Windows 10 Pro system with XPlane 11.30b2. Appreciate if this could be checked out. Thanks

Hi, I've been using the GTN750/650 for some time and it's my best friend in VR with its popout capability, large lettering and clickspots, and navigation! I have planes however with the native G1000 which I want to use for navigation, and use the GTN750/650 as my VR helper only i.e. to set radios, transponder, lookup waypoint info etc. When used in this fashion the GTN750/650 unfortunately seems to confuse the G1000 navigation, even though I have all the GTN750/650 connect, and master device settings unchecked. Radios, transponders etc get changed as expected via the GTN, but as soon as I open the GTN750/650 the G1000 GPS stops tracking correctly, and the usual…
