Hi guys, I had this issue a couple months ago, somehow it went away but I'm not sure what I did. And now it's back. I use a Windows 10 (Microsoft Surface) laptop with a larger Touchscreen as a 2nd monitor, on which I display the Overhead client. For the 737 and 777, font and button lights display perfectly. On the 747 only, the fonts are too large on buttons, causing them to spill over. Photo attached. If I drag to the primary monitor, the issue persists. I've tried every monitor and graphics setting I can find. Hello, first off, i just discovered this product after 25 years of flight simming. awesome addition. i am using a samsung tablet. is there a way to switch the PMDG 747 into full screen mode? also, is there a night mode CDU for the 747? thanks in advance

With PMDG's just released updated 747 yesterday the FMC on the tablet now has the EXEC light illuminated and the DSPLY FAIL & MSG OFST lights constantly illuminated with now way to shut them off. The FMC still works but the lights never go out now. This is in P3D v4.5HF2.

When I use OverheadClient (V8.1.0.0) with the PMDG NGXu, the landing lights switches are the "original" configuration no matter what option has been selected for the aircraft itself. Also the landing lights bar does not work on the OverheadClient. It's only a minor issue but would it be possible to look into this some time ? Thanks in every other aspect for AviaServer : it's an awesome product ! UPDATE : Please disregard - most of the landing light logic works fine on the Overhead Client. Sorry !

I changed in the mjc84.ini UDP 3 to "UDP_ENABLED=1" and the Simserver Add-on Compatibility Check is saying "MJC8 - Q400 in compatible - All Set" but the FMC is dead on the iPad and Laptop under xxx.xxx.xxx.xx:32132 Any idea, what could be the problem? Greetings Erik

Hello Mark and probably other users, I use an old 32bit Win10 Tablet as my "FMC Device". I encountered my problem already with Edge Beta (wrote a mail to Mark, but got never responded unfortunately) and I have now installed the official new Edge. The problem is, on my PC, on my Android phone and on an other Laptop (64bit, Win10) everything is working as it should. On my 32bit Win10 Tablet I can see the FMC including all displays, but I can't enter anything - keys do not respond. With old Edge and other browsers it works. Hi, Hear me out please 🙂 As it will make sense...I promise. I have been seeing a few posts of people that have hardware CDU units...Like me...which are being used with PMDG aircraft. Some of us also have this product as well but many do not since they bought a hardware unit. The Problem: P3D does not play well with undocked screens being on a different Video Card (nor does P3D support SLI either). When you undock the CDU screen and move it to a different Display that is not on the main video card you will get flickering and worse you will see the FPS drop to word not allowed!! PMDG has no solution as they don't offer any kind of "remot…

Hi Marc; I'm having some trouble with the Maddog X version of the Remote CDU...a lot of missed screen updates where I can see the screen change on the panel when I press a key on the remote, but the iPad display does not update to match what's on the panel. Also, I run two side-by-side CDUs using the split-window feature in Safari. At times, both of the CDUs will start to mirror each other on the iPad, as if one screen is being sent to both ports when it updates. Usually it sort of goes away on its own, but sometimes I have to close the browser on the iPad and open it up again to restore proper operation. The PMDG versions don't have this problem. …

Mark, Last night on a flight in the Majestic Q400 I noticed the yellow "MSG" text flashing on the cockpit CDU, but not on the remote CDU. So, I have an iPad Air 2 that I love use for charts and some EFB stuff. I recently got the CDU for the ngxu and absolutely love it! It makes inputing things so much easier and accessible, especially when flying online. However, I find switching between applications a bit tedious and distracting at times and want to get a cheap tablet that will do the trick for the CDU. I know being browser based, this allows to have a lower end device. Which makes getting cheap, that used to be good hardware (ie.: facebook marketplace pickups/refurbs) for a steal, easy. Installation went perfectly "Server Status:Connected to PMDG 737NGX" I entered the HTML for overhead on my Samsung Notebook and connected right away. However, each time I tried to move a switch or button "192.168.0......says No license found you will need to purchase....." Is there some place in the Notebook that I need to enter the license? Hello, I followed the tutorial on how to setup my CDU on my ipad in full screen. And it worked flowless ... ... untill the last update from IOS. Now i have full screen for the first CDU-screen, but when i switch to the second screen via [two-finger method] or the screw up right or left, i get this effect: I can not get rid of the grey bar on top of the screen. When i click on [gereed - ready] i goes back tot the previous screen with is normal full screen view. Something i do wrong or any work around please? This is normal view:

Hi I bought the CDU and Overhead licence for the PMDG 737 NGXu and I am very impressed how well it works and its certainly a lot cheaper that the £1400 overhead panel from VRinsight I had a few years back (sold it). I really don't have any problems with anything, but I have noticed one thing so far and that is that the Air Temp gauge on the overhead is stuck at 80c and doesn't move much regardless which position I have the selector switch in. The gauge in the NGXu itself is showing around the 22c mark.
