I have 24” monitor, and the overhead panel only fills half of the screen thereby making some of the displays not correct e.g pressure and voltage displays?, what is everyone using to remedy this or is it designed this way, it’s a bit strange as I would guess most of us our using widescreen 1920x1080 monitors no? thanks in advance, steve

Hi Mark, I have an issue that came up today without reason. Everything has been working great and then without reason today SimServer stopped sending display data to my tablet. Remote CDU says it is connected and button presses are sent to the sim but I do not have a display. I saw this thread below but it is not a new install and has been working fine. I would also like to say nothing has been updated. Thank you for your help. Chuck

I have just bought this and are running on a 1920 x 1080 resolution monitor, it fits ok but feels like i need to stretch it bigger!, what the optimum screen size to use this on, as currently its only using half my monitor screen and it gets bigger if I stretch it onto the bottom monitor? thanks, Steve

Hi Folks, to use Remote CDU with Aerosoft's A318-A321, please make sure you have the latest version installed. Currently, you need to visit their experimental channel which is open to everyone. As a second requirement, make sure you run FlightSim with Administrator rights. Best regards Mark

I sent a ticket to Marc on this already. After last win 10 update I could no longer get the remote CDU to pull up on my Android tablet nor the android note 5 phone. Works perfectly on my win 10 laptop though. This was same issue for the WEBfmc for Xplane 11. For some reason it seems to only cooperate on another windows 10 device. Any ideas. I have most recent remote CDU since I had it working fine on the android tab with the new PMDG 747-8 soon after upgrading the remote CDU just after release. I heard of the file deleting issues with the recent Win 10 upgrade but not compatibility issues with android devices. Anybody else having this problem?

Hello to all! Happy New Year! Avast, "out of the blue", started to block simserver from working. With Mark's assistance, I thought that I had resolved the issue, but unfortunately, it is now apparent that I haven't. I have read the previous thread on this issue and I have tried the suggestion to exclude simserver from "Behavior Shield" by pointing to the folder where simserver resides (C;\.......\Simserver\* ) without any luck. I have also tried to exclude simserver from the "global" exclusions (Settings->General->Exclusions of Avast) by pointing this folder, but again, without any luck. Hi, 1. since the last update I can not use RemoteCDU for the Maddog anymore. The size of the bmp is nearly 50% of the ipad display. All other (717, 777, 737, 747) are ok. 2. Hi Folks, up to now, updating to a new version of SimServer was a manual process. You got notified by a popup that a new version was available and some of you updated, others just ignored the message. The next version of SimServer will have an auomatic updating mechanism. Whenever SimServer is started, it will check if an update is available in which case it will automatically download the latest version, run the updater and once all files are copied, run SimServer again - all within a few seconds (depending on internet speed). This functionality will be rolled out with the next release (due to be released within a week). At this time I would like…

I did a quick search of the forums here and did not find any information so please forgive me if this has already been answered elsewhere. Is there going to be a version for the soon to be released PMDG 747-8? Besides the usual FMC functionality that new EFB looks like a prime candidate for Remote CDU. I can’t be the only one thinking this way. 🙂

Does the Remote FMC work with any Carenado aircraft. Carenade has a number of aircraft (e.g. the Fokker F50) which uses a universal FMC. This carenado FMC is rather weird. It kinda sorta follow a flightplan, but it tends to do weird stuff unless it is carefully watched. Can this CDU be used in these Carenado aircraft as a replacement for the existing one? If not, are there any plans to make it work in Carenado aircraft?

any plan to make one, yes they have one but its a joke , yours ar 1000% better i run the FSL A3XX now uninstalled the AS bus , mostly for the bad remote cdu , ok fsl have one default that is better then the AS one but not close to the ones you do. hope that AS let you do one for them , you have done a working one for the CRJ that one is in a another leauge compared to th AS bus deafault remote mcdu. would buy one direct.. keep up your good work

Hello, so i just purchased couple of days ago this great product installed got the full license for the QOTS in P3D V4.2.All is running fine on my iPad which i have got it setup as my app but as soon as i touch the brightness button on the iPad cdu the cdu is unresponsive it doesn’t matter which buttons I press i get no response on the cdu in the sim cdu.Then I have to refresh the app cdu on my iPad to restart it and then it works again until I press the brightness button on the app again.I have it running as wifi and I want to ask if anyone else has got this issue or is it just like that? Mark, I am running the new sim server version. I purchase both the B717 and CRJ licenses, however they are not recognized by simserver. I believe I have the latest version of the 717. The B717 CDU shows on my IPad but message Timed Out. Thank you in advance. Bob
