Hello Mark, using SimServer 4.1.0.3, P3D V4.2, Windows 10 Everything seems to be working for all three PMDG aircraft, but it doesn't connect to either the Aerosoft CRJ or the MadDog ("Server Status: Connected, waiting for aircraft") In my defense, I have just started using RCDU, and I may have overlooked something that needs to be set up for these aircraft first? Is there any way to save the current size and position of the Overhead client (when it is not maximized)? I won't have to resize the screen every time I launch it. Thanks Yves Levesque

Dear Folks, I'm happy to announce, that with the latest version (3.2.0.0 as released today), a new product has also been added: The Remote Overhead Client. It allows you to interface with PMDG's 737NGX overhead panel and replicates it on a networked PC. It is fully functional and all switch/knob/button action is forwarded to your in-flight simulation. Also, all switches you operate in-flight, will be synchronized back to the Remote Overhead panel. Hi I have an android tablet connected via Ethernet to my simulator PC. I find that while using the android tabled, the commands typed in take a bit longer to echo back on the android screen and there is an input lag. Any ideas why ?.

I connected my PC via ethernet directly to my wifi router due to poor reception and dl speeds. But when I did this, my licenses no longer work and I have view mode only displayed for my aircraft in the simserver app. I am able to connect to simserver with my tablet, but its view only. When I switch back to a wifi connection all is good. Any suggestions?

Hi Marc CDU licenced is working fine Now I want to try the Overhead panel. Open server window Status is Connected to PMDG 737NGX PMDG 737 NGX Licence : Full Control Rest is view only including Overhead. OPen Generate QR Code Open PMDG 737 NGX Only CDU Left and Right are displayed with IP address Overhead is not shown. Something I missed? Regards Jacob

Every time I run the remote server it says that my 747 .ini file needs to be updated. I only use P3Dv4 and the location it is looking in isn't correct. It's looking for it in the default P3Dv3 location. When I do select OK, my .ini file in the P3Dv4 folder does get updated. Can I just select cancel when it tells me to update? Thanks! Forgot to mention that everything seems to be working fine.

Today I upgraded my Win 10 Pro to 1709 and after doing this I could no longer start SimServer since it kept telling me SimServer was already running although it was not. Found out you can work around this issue by setting SimServer to be ran in Windows 8 compatibility mode so guess something needs to be tweaked to the SimServer.exe in order to work in the latest version of Win 10 without having to use compatibility mode.

As the topic suggests, how long does it normally take to get your license after sending the request and receiving the confirmation email? Is the process automated or handled manually? Sorry if this information already is available and I overlooked it, just eager to start using this great software

I had SimServer set up to work in both installations of PMDG 737NGX and B777 in FSX and P3Dv4. Since I no longer use NGX and B777 in FSX, I decided to delete these installations and fly these simulators exclusively in P3Dv4. Since I removed these products from P3Dv4, I am receiving the above message along with the following message: "It seems your B737 NGX PMDG Options File is not set up correctly for data broadcasting, which is required for the server to work correctly." Any plans to develop for anything xplane 11 related? (737 zibo, ixeg etc) I love the product and this is one of the only things holding me back from switching sims !

I am curious as to what the differences between the 2 if anyone owns the virtualavionics one could do a side by side comparison to Remote CDU, which offers more features and is better overall? On iPad running iOS 11, I believe you can have split screen safari and basically run 2 instances of Remote CDU, whereas with the virtual cdu app from virtualavionics, I don't think this is possible.

Hi I have the 747 with P3D v4. On my Android tablet I am able to get the refreshes from the sim if i click on fmc in sim, but what I type on tablet is not appearing in the fmc in sim. Has anyone faced this issue?.

possible to do a web interface like the CDU for Pedestal 737 ngx. like this Pedestal1 with for example Com1, Nav1 ,wxr, atc, modules and Pedestal2: Com2,Nav2,HGS, Adf. should be nice on on a one or two tablets, if you have 4 tabs open in the browser CDU L, CDU R, Pedestal1, Pedestal2 its ok for one Tablet.

Hi, I tried to use the Safari trick to make the remote CDU work like an app on my iphone, but when it opens, the bottom part is black (CDU does not fill the screen) and top status bar is still there. Is there any way to make it truly full screen? Thanks!
