Aviasoft Remote CDU for Phone / Tablet Official Support Forum

I use remote CDU with pmdg 777. I have an issue where my tablet is connected to the left CD, is able to send keystrokes to the CD in my fsx machine. But the screen on the tablet is not refreshing. I restarted the CD server, plus also the tablet, closed and opened browser again, but the screen in the browser does not refresh what's on the CD in the FsX machine. Has anyone else faced this issue ?.

Mark, With the success of the FMC you have created for my home cockpit, may I suggest a similar product for a remote PFD? I was really surprised that there are no good options for Android products, and since yours is a computer based program instead and tie in with the browser, I would be willing to pay double...

Greetings I am interested in your CDU. I use the Aerosoft Airbus and Dash 8; in addition to the 777. I noticed you have extended coverage to the 777. Very good. Do you have plans to do the same for the other aircraft mentioned above?

Having a sudden issue connecting to my note 10.1 since the last update. Are there any known issues or is it me?

I have uninstalled PMDG 737NGX from FSX because now I use it only in P3D. The problem is that when I load SimServer that was configurated for FSX and P3D, and don't find the FSX installation, gives me an error message before been able for P3D. The conection btwen the iPad and the server is correct, but when push a button we get this message and afterwards that button is not active anymore Error: TypeError : 'undefined' is not a function Script: undefined Line:0 Column : undefined Stack Trace Can you help me to solve this error ??? Hi, I've just setup a new PC and installed the latest version after downloading the other day, and I've copied my licence file to my simsiver folder, but it only shows the 777 in view mode only. Have I missed something? Thanks

Hi Mark, Hi Guys, I've got a strange problem: with the 737 Full Control licence, my set up is not responding for the Left CDU whereas the Right CDU is working splendidely (both receiving and transmiting). When entering the 192.168.1.12:32111 adress on my Ipad, the web browser is stuck unresponding. I've got several computers or home appliance on my home network (broadband internet box, 2 PC's, 1TV, 1 PS3 game box etc...) so perhaps this very adress is already in use ???? I have downloaded & installed your latest version. I run the simserver and nothing happens. I check in Task Manager, and it doesn't show anything. If I try to run it again, it states that it is already running but there is no icon in the task bar. I have WIN 7 Ultimate 64bit. Thank You, Gnacino

Hi I am running SimServer Remote CDU Version 2.2.0.0 with the PMDG 777X in licensed mode. The problem I have is that after a certain time without any activity (a few minutes?) on the iPhone I receive an "FMC timeout" message on the iPhone. I then have to restart SimServer (or at last that's what brings me back the FMC sceen on the iPhone again). Any idea to prevent this timeout? Best regards Andreas

Hello, I tried different browsers on my android tab (including chrome) but the cdu is always far from being full screen. There are big black borders on all sides of the cdu. I don't know what the cause is. My tab's res is 2560x1600 pixels. I would buy both keys if it would show in full screen. Otherwise great product. Thanks

Just downloaded v 2.2 (November 23rd, 2015) for which I hoped connection problems with Prepar3D V.3 were solved. Unfortunately for my situation this was not true. This is how I can reproduce it: - start up simserver - startup P3D with a loaded PMDG flight - test working remote CDU -> OK - reset the scenario or load a new one (any major change in the current scenario will invoke this). - the remote CDU will display a lost connection - when P3D has been restarted with the selected scenario a display appears on the remote CDU, but this is not in sync with the CDU in the sim. Hi, I am using the tool since today. I use an iPad for this and it works. But I have some problems listed below: 1. When accessing the B777X options regarding colors, colors appear on the CDU of the airplane in the virtual cockpit, but not on the remote CDU. As a consequence, we cannot see what are the changes (as colors are coded RGB), apart regarding in the virtual cockpit. 2. In the same idea,the button for brightness adjustment seems not working and when we use the one of the virtual cockpit, it displqyes grey squares on the CDU of the cockpit, but "é" symbols on the remote CDU. I really like this nice remote CDU tool but I noticed that the PMDG P8-A is not supported (the sim server app writing: server status: connected, waiting for aircraft)! If you previously opened any other 737 model, it shows still connected, but doesn't do anything... Would love to see it working... kd rgds

Not sure if this is the correct forum, Mark. I was having a problem with ASN (v. 5707) not detecting FSX Steam loading. ASN is installed on a networked computer. Server is running Windows 7 64, client is running Windows 8.1. ASN would detect FSX running on the initial bootup of the server computer, but not on a second startup of FSX (without rebooting the server computer). After making port changes to my Norton Internet Security Smart Firewall, disabling Smart Firewall, making changes to Windows Firewall, experimenting with port settings in various simconnnect config files, the problem would not go away. I launched the latest SimServer2 and use a QR reader on my iPhone 6 plus which was successful in connecting with PMDG's 777 CDU, however the buttons do not work at all (display works). Further more I sent 2 requests for full licensing and received no response, yes I checked my "Junk" folder. I also tried it on my Galaxy Tab 3, no joy. What am I missing here?

Not too long ago I purchased a new pc for prepar3d as I made the transition from FSX. I figured an I7 with two 970's in SLI would do the trick and I have not been disappointed - besides the occasional OOM. While I was at it, I decided to get 3 27" screens to complete the setup. Since that moment I became more and more interested in building my own pit. Not yet ready to commit completely - because of time - I started dragging the NDU and CDU to a separate screen. Hi folks, thanks to all your support, I'm happy to announce that version 2.0 of the Remote CDU will add support for PMDG's B777! After some discussions with the great folks at PMDG; I now have final confirmation that the technology this solution is using is fully in-line with their terms and there are no objectives to support their current and planned product lines. Obviously this is exciting news and I estimate a new version being released in ~ 1 week from Saturday, if testing goes well.
