I WISH THERE was a way to separate the cdu part of the 787 display since it is too small on conventional 10in pad. I guess i need one of those giant touch screens. Otherwise I cant live without this and the webfmc one for XP11.

  4. Hi all, Hopefully somebody can help me. I recently bought the CDU and Overhead panel Flightsim apps for the PMDG 737. I am using the overhead panel on a touchscreen with the Overhead Client. Everytime I want to flick a switch or turn a dial on the overhead the sound of the sim goes mute and I need to click the main sim window again to get my sound back. I know this is an an issue with the PMDG 737 (they solved it with the 777 and 747) but I was wondering if somebody found a workaround for this? Thanks for thinking with me... Martijn

Many of you have eagerly awaited this moment - version 5.1.0.0 has been released which supports the QualityWings 787 MFK/MFD and EFB. So basically the CDU and the corresponding MFD next to the EFB you might already be enjoying in PMDG's 747-8. Pro tip: if you are annoyed by low-res graphics, make sure you select the High-Res-Displays options in the QW787 Dispatcher! Happy flying!

Hello, I am using the PMDG P3D version of the 747 800 EFB app on my iPad. I am concerned about two things. First the Navigraph charts are very blurry on the iPad, very hard to read. On the other hand if I access the same charts from Navigraph from their cloud website on my iPad the charts are crystal clear and easy to read even at no magnification. I also note that the same charts when viewed in the sim on the 747 800 EFB screen at the same magnification, are also very crisp. This blurriness issue if it cannot resolved would lead me to abandon using this app. Another issue relates to the fact that the brightness needed to achieve good viewing in the …

Marc--I see that the 777 and 747 remote overheads will work in a browser on a tablet...IIRC, the original 737 overhead required a PC. Is there any plan to make the 737 overhead work similarly with a tablet running a browser (or will it do that already)? Cheers

Hi folks, I'm happy to announce yet another release, this time adding support for PMDG's 747 for the Remote Overhead Client. You can choose between the native Windows desktop client or use the browser version so you can access the Overhead panel from virtually any modern device. The 747 Remote Overhead supports the -400, -400 Freighter, -8 and -8 Freighter variants. The configuration will change automatically depending on the selected aircraft! Happy flying!

  13. I've had this happen quite a few times while SimServer is still running in the background after a FS session. I try to access the Internet and get "page cannot be reached" for every page. As soon as I close SimServer the pages will load perfectly. Is this a known issue? Mike

  14. I been testing the SimServer Software for a while and it seems to works good, haven't bought a Licence yet because something very particular that happens on my system. I created a link of the SimServer to the Startup Folder so the software activates when I log on windows. I started to notice that after a while the only website that works is the one I'm currently on, If I go to any other website I get a "DNS error page". at first I thought it was my Network Card going bad but I have 5 Boots of Windows on this PC and it doesn't happen on any of the other ones. I figure that if I exit SimServer I get the internet connectivity back. Windows Troubleshooter can't find any Probl…

Hi Mark, I have downloaded the SimServer App. I have the icon on my desktop and the it's also in the hidden icons in the task bar. When I R/C the icon, I keep getting the following message. [It seems your B737 NGX PMDG Options file in "E:\FSX\PMDG\PMDG 737NGX] is not set up correctly for data broadcasting, which is required for the server to work correctly. It also says that the [SDK] should have the following added: EnableDataBroadcast=1, 0=1. 1=1, and of course my iPad says that it cant connect to the server. I have checked my Options.ini file, but it's slightly different to the one as above. IE it reads [ E:\P3DV4\PMDG\PMDG 737NGX ] there is no FSX …

  20. Hi Mark I am facing a problem with the remote overhead panel for the 777 i.e. - license is showing ok - overhead client (OverheadClient.exe) is running fine (running on the PC where Prepare3D is installed) However, when opening the given http address for the overhead panel on my iPad, just a blank sreen is disclosed (verified on two different remote devices [both running iOS]). When clicking anywhere on this blank screen then the ovehead tableau is showing. But there are no buttons, switches, etc. SimServer is also dislcosing "Connected Devices: 0". CDUs are running fine on the same device. Restart of SimServer does not help. Any idea what I shoul…

  24. Hello I mainly use SimServer on my Surface Pro 4 with Google Chrome. Since Chrome v70, if I remember it correctly, the Touch Input has stopped working. I'm still able to click the Keys with the Mouse, however no Touch Input is possible. Maybe anything in newer Chrome Releases broke some stuff? I'm currently using Microsoft Edge, here the Touch Input works without any problems. Thanks.

  25. Hi folks, great news - PMDG and Navigraph have been able to resolve the licensing issues affecting the chart display on the Remote EFB. PMDG rolled out an update yesterday that lifts this limitation! Once you update the 747 package, you will immediately be able to view the charts on the Remote EFB - no need to update SimServer. Happy flying!
