Hey Team &Gerald, may you remember that i´ve complained about some little issues with the latest Revision. - MCE FO not responding anymore - wrong altitude readouts - constant repeating of "llocalizer alive, glideslope alive….etc." Against the recommendation to go back to a former Version of MCE i´ve gave it a Chance. Now, after some more legs together withPF3 some of those issues disapeared by magic. My FO now reads out the correct altitudes again and Reports them to ATC like "Eurowings 7032 out of 12500, decending to 7000..." which was correct. And my FO doesn´t felt asleep anymore and somethingMCE seems to run stable again. Gerald, come on, you …

  2. I have installed MCE following the valuable hints in this forum. The speech recognition is excellent. So far every command is understood, as I always can follow up in the top left corner of the main screen. Unfortunately my commands sometimes are not translated into action. And so I have to repeat some commands up to five times. What can I do to improve this situation? Arndt Laube

Hello everyone, My MCE demo has unfortunately ran it's course, and I'll probably buy it, but the fact that I got off the ground but couldn't stay airborne kinda makes me wonder what I did wrong. I think I did the checklists right, however maybe I took off wrong? Since IYP does stuff automatically, sometimes too much, maybe I missed a step? Am I supposed to tell MCE to takee off with max takeoff power? The last time I tried and got airborne, I told MCE to select climb power to see if that did anything, and i'm not sure if it helpped. I then told MCE to set airspeed to 360 or so, I don't think that helpped either. Since IYP sets elev…

  4. I continue to refine the use of MCE with Aerosoft CRJ700/900 tied to real world ops of a particular airline. This program is great. Questions: How do I make it so when I call for a checklist, the FO/PM first runs his flow and then reads off the checklist. I have tried a couple of solutions but they have not worked out well. One has been setting up a voxscript for the flow and within the voxscript calling for the checklist. The problems is the names would be the same.... I The ideal would be to call the checklist and the checklist would (perhaps silently call the voxscript flow sequence with a different name) run the associated flow before re…

Hi, On my last flight, while the FO has the Atc ("you have Atc"), it does not respond to the Control Center, Ground, Tower and so..... The call sign is DVSB (Delta, Victor, Sierra, Bravo). It appears correctly in the ATC section of the MCE interface, PF3 understands it without problem. When I answer to Atc, MCE interprets it correctly. The problem only occurs at the FO level. I made the same flight with MCE+Radar Contact (same aircraft, same call-sign, same FO, there the FO responds perfectly to all communications. Thank you and Regards, Richard

First, I have to say, that the last update is really impressive. Performance is now so much better. Thank you! Great job! Now, my request: The Airbus (A320) LANDING checklist contains the item "Autothrottle", but on Airbus this is called "Autothrust". When I try to change "Autothrottle" into "Autothrust", FO won't understand it. Is there anything I am doing wrong, or is "Autothrust" not a featured wording in MCE? If so, can you please change/add this? And beside that: When I answer "speed", FO tries to adjust the speed of the aircraft, instead of understanding "speed" as the reply to the checklist item. Thank you Gerald for your attention!

Hi Gerald, in the actual revision of MCE the GSX control isn´t working for pushback. The order is well recognized because i can see the command in the red textline like "Ground are you ready for pushback". The MCE mechanic confirms the request to pushback when is say pushback to the left i. ex. but in GSX nothing happens. No GSX window is opening for the tasks to be ordered and of course the towtruck doesn´t move or even push the aircraft. reg. Bernd

Hi, with the new version when I receive ATC messages the view in the sim changes to show the radio view. So the front view changes for the radio view, very annoying when you are landing. This was not happening with the previous version. I use chaseplane, but the radio view is not one I define in chaseplane. it seem to be the one define in P3D (default). Also If I recall, MCE had a option to increase the static noise when using the PUSH to talk button, I do not see the option anymore. Thanks Pierre

  10. Hi Gerald, ..."This application is going to terminate"..and so... This is the message I have with my Bonanza A2A... I know that MCE does not have specific parameters for this aircraft but normally it should at least accept it, if only to be able to manage ATC (RC or PF3). This is the very first time I have had this message. Of course, latest version of MCE, P3Dv4.5. Thank you and Regards, Richard

Hi, Gerald, a simple improvement, for future releases: PMDG NGX: when requested to set "both IRS to NAV", the FO replies "Initial reference system to NAV". The reply should be "INERTIAL reference system to NAV". Regards, Giorgio

Now that Toliss has released its study-level aircraft to v1.2.1 it would be great if MCE would work with this aircraft. The Toliss airbus is one of the best airliners in XP11, but so far unfortunately not supported by MCE (not even the landing lights commands work). Hope that resources are free to work on this project. Any plans?

Now that MCE is super quick this is getting more noticable. MCE takes quite a long time to change the COM frequency, because the dials are actually turned, and quite slowly. Depending on how far they have to be turned it can take up to 30 seconds. Is this a necessity or can it be done faster?

As described in the other topic sometimes MCE seems to hang and is getting very slow to execute a flow. I am still experiencing this, almost on every flight, to different extents. Sometimes barely noticeable, sometimes MCE completely stops to respond. Symptoms of this phenomenon are: - the execution of the flow is getting slow, i.e. sometimes more than 20 seconds between two commands - the mute key is recognized only several seconds - sometimes more than 20 - after it is pressed - the PTT button is not working any more for extended periods of time - the voice recognition rate gets significantly worse up to a point where MCE und…

Hi, Gerald, I just installed MCE 2.8.06. It works very well, thanks. Just a little problem: whenever I ask for a Course/Track in the 100’s (e.g. “Set course 1xx”), the reply is invariably “Setting course 0xx” and the the FO acts accordingly. Tried saying both “one hundred xx” and “one x x” (digit-wise), same problem. From 200 onwards all is fine. On the other hand, If I ask for a Heading in the 100’s (i.e. “Set heading 1xx”), both reply and action by the FO are always correct. Not my English… Thank you for your help, Giorgio

Attention all captains Please update to latest version V2.8.0.6 It's a significant leap forward. This thread will explain why you have to Enjoy silk smooth total interactive crew simulation. Time to bombard co-pilot with requests for anything you want him to assist you with, and don't hesitate to report when he doesn't behave 😛.

Hi, I try to uninstall version 2.7.7.0 on my W10 1903 pc. The unsinstall process remains on Time remaining 8 seconds forever. Cancel button does a roll back. I tried the xPack.msi as adminitrator. Same thing happens. When I run xPack.msi not as administrator the screen Removing Multicrew Experience stops at Removing shortcuts and stays there forever. Please advise how to be able to uninstall. Regards, Jacob

Hi, usually i have PF3 in use together with MCE wich works great so far. I have just a little issue with an anoying sound that´s played on every keypress while in flight. The sound is the same, that is played on some keypress in the GUI of PF3, though i think it´s related to PF3 rather then MCE. Everything works normal like , setup the flightplan, load into PF3 connect to P3D, but once i´ve connected PF3-ATC to P3D having MCE loaded, from then on every time i press a key on the P3D PC i get to hear that "pong" is played. No matter which key (s-key for the views, .-for the brakes etc.) As far i have tested it only happens when MCE is already loaded in P3D at that ti…

Hi, Please, would you be able to add the connection for the "Heading" and "Altitude/Flight Level" commands in the excellent DA62? For the moment my co-pilot interacts perfectly with the transponder, she also manages coms with RC4 or PF3 very well but concerning the commands described above, she answers correctly but no action is taken. Thank you and Regards,

I have been an ardent supporter of MCE with FSX for a number of years and have recently moved across to X-Plane11. however I just can't seem to get MCE working correctly. With XPlane, what is the correct process for starting MCE? There is a menu item Start MCE under the Plugin menu, but MCE tells me to start MCE using the desktop icon? However I get the opening screen saying "Trying to connect..... ", but it never seems to connect. I did manage to get it running once, by chance I think, but the dialogue box disappeared and it didn't seem to connect with RC4. I am using XPlane11 in Multi-screen mode over 3 screens, which appears to only use full screen mode…

  24. It happened twice now that I was in the phase after engine start and before taxi when MCE misunderstood one of my commands, the first time as "both fuel levers off" the second time as "all IRS off". In both cases that obviously ruined my flight (or at least gave me a significant delay). I think MCE already asks for a confirmation with these commands when in flight, but it should also do on the ground.

For certain commands I always have to repeat twice. American three one zero" This type of command picks up first time. MCE first of…
