Voice command for Flaps not recognized in PMDG 737NGXu but is for all other addons. P3Dv5 HF2 MCE V 2.8.6.0.

Hi Guys Just re-installed MCE after replacing my HDD and now having issues getting the FO to listen. I went through the wizard with no issues, I have the Copilot Listening at the top of the screen, but nothing is working. I've tried saying My Radio, Your Radio, Set speed to 250 and getting nothing, even if I press the PTT button. First time I installed this everything went perfect but now struggling with it

Hi, I've been using the IXEG 737-300 lately in Xplane and have come across problems getting the vF/O to understand me when I say certain things. Almost every time I ask for a speed (by saying 'speed 152' or 'set speed 175') every time he says (paraphrasing) 'ok speed 175 I didnt catch that confirm speed' I then have to try and confirm a few times before he gets it. I have tried those phrases in other recognition software and am understood every time, so I don't think it's the way I am saying it. I also have occasional issues with various flaps requests (especially 'flaps 40') Is there anything I can do to improve it?

Tested iFly 747 The following was noted. beacon light ON does nothing (should probably go to "both") OFF is ok. all fuel pumps ON ok except Main 3 OVRD FWD/AFT. OFF does nothing as well. hydraulic demand one AUTO or OFF does nothing hydraulic demand two AUTO or OFF does nothing hydraulic demand three AUTO or OFF does nothing hydraulic demand four is ok. If memory serves we had these same issues with the P3D version and got iFly to send you the SDK. Regards, Harry

Just to inform the community that I recently uploaded to the AVSIM Library a new set of MCE flows for the PMDG 737NGX. It is aimed at adhering, as much as possible, to Boeing SOPs and to exploit in full the amazing potential of MCE. New extended MCE command set included, courtesy of FS++. It is a comprehensive set of flows (61), which enables the user to carry out a complete flight, including all ground services (with GSX2) and camera controls (with ChasePlane), without relying on mouse or keyboard. Only by verbal commands. Detailed instructions and directions included, plus a number of utilities. Happy flights! Giorgio

I am thinking about getting the 757 by Flight Factor, does the new version still work OK with MCE?

For some reason MCE doesn't seem to want to accept my registration code. I just purchased it from FS Pilot Shop and when I enter it, and open the program it tells me that I need to purchase an activation code and that the trial period is now over. Can someone help me please. Rodger Edit: A pop up screen after entering the registration code says that a file containing the infromation provided has been saved to this path. C:\Program Files (x86)\MultiCrewExperience\registration.txt. Hewever when I went to look at the file it is not there.

Hi Gerald, It's obviously something I'm doing but when calling for a flow on the Aerosoft Airbus A321 IAE the FO goes through the flow but no action occurs. Would appreciate any thoughts. harry

I recently upgraded the drive that MCE is installed on and now it tells me the trial period is over. I verified I have the license key in the folder where MCE is installed. Its telling me to fill out a form in Multi Crew Experience -> Tools but the Tools folder doesn't exist. I also have the serial number from the purchase but I don't see any place to enter it. Not sure what to do next. Richard

Hi, I am facing a problem with the voice volume of my Copilot. Starting up I can hear my Copilot very well. When ATC chatter (default P3d) kicks in the volume of my CoPi goes very low, bearly hearable. Is anyone else having this problem? If not can you kindly describe your sound setup. Thanks Peter

Hi, Have a look at flow command "Battery On" does nothing. Used to work. Everything else seems ok. Harry

I switched over to x-plane from P3D, and recently discovered MCE also has an x-plane version. Having an MCE license, my question is, does this also work on the x-plane version? Couldn't find the answer to this anywhere.... Thanks in advance.

I like to stream Flight simulator and I would really love to to use MCE but my issue is there isn't a toggle for push to talk. I constantly have to talk to my viewers or comments what I am doing. I don't want MCE to listen while I am doing all of this stuff. Am I missing something ? And I can't obviously mute my mic....

Hello Gerald, Purchased MCE a couple of days a go, did not wait for the trial period to end, and registered it right away. Did voice training and followed all instructions. Also downloaded ALL voice packages and the RC4 voice packages and installed it. Did the appropriate changes on MCE.ini for RC4. Checked RC4 version and is a good one for MCE. RC4 runs on the same machine as FS9. I see no reason why it shouldn't work yet, it gets suck at the splash page. I hear the communications going and it just goes on and on Trying to connect to flight simulator....for ever and nothing happens. The flows for this aircraft seem to be missing from latest revision of MCE. The is a PDF which lists the commands though.

Hi all, I just bought a couple of Cereproc voices thinking they would add to the immersion but on the contrary, I find it is almost unbearable the experience. The voice pauses between words sometimes for 1 or 2 seconds. Fuel......left....aft...fuel.... pump............selected.....on - just to say this it requires 7 seconds (and why does it say fuel twice?) How can i speed up the pauses between the words ? Pretty much what it says in the title, MCE startin dialog comes up and I hear the chatter. But the co-pilot never arrives. I have done a file check on X-Plane. and also reinstalled MCE as per instructions . At a loss on how to continue. Best Dudley

HI all! I am creating a very thorough checklist and flow checks for the Zibo mod under X-Plane, to be as close as possible to reality. There are a few items that the FO can't seem to be able to check: 1.Cross Feed Flow valve (close and open) 2.Mach Speed Warning Test 1 and 2 (press switches - sound feedback) 3.Flight Recorder Guard and Test Switch (press switch - sounds Feeback) 4.Window Heat Test (this passes for OVHT test only but FO keeps it in the test position and does not come back to normal) 5.Stall Warning Test (press switch - sound feedback) These are all items in the preflight flow. Hi all Im trying to configure a custom checklist. I can't figure out how to write the checklist/PM to check specific items (fuel quantity, fuel pumps, altimeter setting etc) Is it even possible? Example: 737 Before Start checklist - "Fuel ___ kgs, Pumps ON" How do you make FO verbalise Fuel load?

Hard mute does not work. I enabled the hard mute via Num lock key in the advanced settings. Pressing the key disables the mic in MCE (the mic icon on the GUI changes to disabled) so it appears to be working. But when I call for the engine start checklist for example from FS2Crew the MCE copilot starts doing his thing also and messes everything up - he's doing his checklist even though the hard mute was enabled! I had to restart the flight 3 times now (I'm sitting on the apron for about 3 hours now, I'm loosing my mind). The only reason why I wanted to use MCE copilot also was for handling the radios and the GSX stuff. The only way MCE copilot does not interfere with FS2Cr…

Hi, I am hoping someone may be able to assist on this forum as a followup to extensively reviewing the issue (including my settings and flight logs) on the Pf3 forum to no avail. The problem is that both MCE and Pf3 work well when used in isolation but when used together it appears that somehow MCE stops the taxi guidance (TGS) in Pf3 working. Otherwise both work together very well. This problem developed some time ago but it took me a little time to realise and try to address it so I'm unsure as to what other additions or changes may have been made within the sim around that time, so harder to pinpoint. Hi Gerald, Just did a complete reinstall on P3DV5. Ran MCE several times and got the pop-up saying the trial period is over. Have placed the license.key file in the installation folder but pop-up still comes up. What am I doing wrong or what do I need to do? Thanks, Harry
