Hi, Just a few tweaks required on the PMDG 737NGXu "apu generator connect" both switches move but nothing happens. If done after with mouse clicks they turn on "engine generator on" same as apu generator.

Hi, Is there a way to have the mechanic say a phrase on command within a VoiceScript? I am using a “blank” (no-action) VoxKey command with the phrase in its “Optional TTS reply”, but clearly the voice is not right. More generally, how to use scripts in the Mechanic or Purser folder? Thanks for your help, Giorgio

For the realworld procedures I'm replicating in the Aerosoft CRJpro, certain built in commands don't require confirmation and in fact disrupt the flow of things. Is there a way to deactivate the requirement that a specific command requires confirmation? One of them is to request the flight director to be turned off. This is requested on the final phase of some non precision approaches and also maneuvers (like steep turns). The other case is asking for an engine to be started during a normal starting sequence. MCE is great complimentary product to the flight sim experience! Wallace Wittkoff

... is finally announced to be released tomorrow. So can we expect MCE to work with the AS A330 as is (apparently except for the few additional functions that don't exist in the AS A320) or is some work needed to adapt MCE to the A330?

Hi, Been running through the CS B757-200-III PW2040 flows. Was impressed with how MCE handled this one out of the box. "both stab trim cutout switches to normal" doesn't seem to do anything. That's the command out of the box. Maybe there's another command I'm not aware of? William seems to sometimes trip up a bit with setting speed, heading and altitude. Tends to be a long drawn out process and most times he misses the setting by a click or two. I'm guessing this is more to do with developer coding than MCE. Just thought I'd mention it. Not a big problem. As an aside, the developer here seems to have focused more on eye candy than tuning flight charact…

Came back to xplane after giving it a rest for a bit, and noticed that in the monitor tab of MCE, where there used to always be the "takeoff from" box, with parameters such as VR, V1, V2, transition altitude, and runway, the box has been replaced with "destination" (or something to that effect) and instead has different values like VREF etc. The problem is that now I cannot assign the V speeds, or takeoff runway. There are no callouts on takeoff. If I say something like "active runway 22 left" it is ignored. Any way I can fix this? (flying x-plane) EDIT: I also noticed that my version is out of date. Is there an easy way to update without overwriting all …

Hi, As soon as I launch Multi Crew Experience with the NGX, a Readme_PMDG file appears with a window asking me to read the EULA and then click OK. The problem is that it blocks P3Dv4.5hf2. I can click on the window, but nothing answers anymore (I have to leave with the Windows Task Manager)! PMDG replied to me: " That sounds something that is triggered from the MCE program. Our EULA will only open during the plane installation. I would suggest to contact them." Thank you and Regards, Richard

When .wav files are being played, the co-pilot is listening and responds to various words being said by making changes to the aircraft configuration. Any way to turn that off? I'm aware that .wav files can be used to provide co-pilot commands . I don't use that. I give him/her all commands myself, verbally. If I've missed some, please let me know.

Is there a way to adjust the playback volume of .wav files independent of the first officer volume? When I play a sound file, let's say to ask for coffee, the volume is very low. If the same file is played on the desktop through the default player the volume is much higher. I've looked around but didn't see any obvious way to do it, maybe I missed something?

I have reported various aircraft specific voice command issues that needed to be tweaked. I know that most, if not all have been addressed in several recent version updates. The only way I know this is by testing each new version to see if the changes have been made. Some changes when made require me to make changes to my voice flow files. This is a time consuming process that I wouldn't have to do if I knew what changes where made version to version. Is there a way for me to find out what changes have been made so I don't have to re-test every new version to find out? Thanks

Working through the QW787 flows. Saying "emergency lights off" turns them on and so on. Saying "bulk cargo heat switch on" or "off" does nothing. Saying "ventilation on" turns it on but doesn't close the switch cover Stabilizer cutoff red switch covers don't close Might want to have a look at the 4 generator buttons(L1-L2-R1-R2). Unless I'm mistaken somethings not right. L1 & R1 seem to be the only buttons that respond. If I have this wrong please advise how these should work. Saying "QNH Standard" or "QNH Standard Off" does nothing. However, the first officer reports the actions were completed. Engine start doesn't include opening t…

Hello, I would like to appeal to FS++ to also switch to the new method of adding add-ons regarding how MCE recognizes aircraft. As I understand it, it's the required method, and more and more products - aircraft - are installed that way. I know I can manually add these aircraft via simobjects.cfg, but it would be a real time (and work) saver if MCE would just recognize products installed that way - thanks. Regards, Dimitrios

Hi, Gerald, Again on the PMDG 737NGX: 1- the command: “mechanic disconnect/stop the air conditioning unit” (and variants) is executed if spoken (by Capt.), but "non-existent" (usual red warning displayed on-screen) if written in a flow. Please correct. 2-On some occasions, when long flows are being executed (e.g. Preflight), the Captain may have to intervene during the flow according to the flow state. A simple Pause command is inadequate, given the variability of these actions. It would be MOST useful to have an overall Pause/Resume command for the entire flow, like the one for the Checklist readout by the FO. Thanks a lot, Giorgio

I've always used FS2 Crew but looking hard at MCE to get a crew for the NGXu. I would like to know how it's working with the new NGXu since people have had a week now to try it. I also like that MCE works with the TFDi bird and every other airliner I use except the DC6 and Connie. Could you share your experience?

When working with David Herky's scripts I have found certain commands that the MCE doesn't recognize, they seem to be very specific commands of this plane and I don't know for sure why they can be. Examples: atm mode hydraulic pumps off ac essential bus power to auto atm mode selector on Other commands: apu on the bus antiskid off ...

Greetings all, I'll start with the question. Is there any possibility to have a push to talk feature for the copilot. I'll explain why I ask. First, before everyone brings out the pitchforks and torches standby. I have read responses saying it isn't realistic, but let me explain some personal experience. My first beloved aircraft assigned, the mighty C-141B had a noisy flight deck. Once you get above 250kts, there was the roar of the air moving along the skin and windshield. We used a dual action yoke switch to talk. We flew with the Davey clark's mic on the lower lip to be heard clearly. You push the yoke switch forward to transmit outside the aircraft and…

It has been mentioned in other threads, that the mutekey of MCE is not reliable for everyone lately and a PTT button for talking to the FO has been requested. I found a little freeware tool called "MicMute" which can be used to solve both aspects. MicMute allows to assign a hotkey that can be used to globally mute / unmute the microphone in Windows. Here is how I use it: I choose a hotkey for MicMute and then assign this hotkey to a joystick button (my "global PTT button") via FSUIPC both for pressing the button and for releasing the button. Aditionally I assign the same hotkey also to the button I use as the MCE-PTT button - but only f…

Hi, excuse my english. I know that MCE has support for CS L-1011 for FSX but CS released the 1011-II version for P3dv4. Does the actual MCE version support it out-of-the-box or will be necessary an update? TIA
