...... how to incorporate that slick automatic "pause raise/lower gear" function from the AS365 Dauphin into another helicopter yet? I'm thinking it would work really swell on the GMAX Bell 222 recently released. -Lindy :-rotor in training

It is a shame that more of us can't fly Antii Pankkonin's new Auto Pilot. Perhaps if we all share what little we know we can figure it out. Would others please post what they have found to work, and if you think it helpfull, what doesn't seem to work. Here is what works for me:1. CH Pro Pedals - USB2. Saitek Cyborg 3D Gold Joystick - USBDauphin.cfgnumber_of_devices=2;cyclic_pitch=2,Y;cyclic_roll=2,X;yaw=1,Z;collective=2,SLIDER0;David Smith

Back in April, I hosted a Multiplayer (MP) session for this forum. The turnout was not so hot. Of late, there has been a little talk and an attempt by our fellow rotorhead, Crash, about folks getting together and having some MP sessions. I think Crash may be attempting another session this weekend....he will probably be posting info on this soon.If you haven't gotten into the Multiplayer thing yet, you're missing a real treat!! It's really EASY to do and doesn't take that great a connection or a fast computer (I have a modem connection at about 26400bps and a friend I fly with has a 300mhz computer). You make good friends from all over the world and have a blast at …

When flying virtually any copter in fs I've found that a full reduction of throttle/collective will reduce the tail rotor's "thrust" to either side quite a bit... even in autorotation with plenty of main rotor head speed.Shouldnt it have ample control effectiveness so long as main rotor speed is kept in its normal range?

Does ANYBODY fly choppers in FS 2000 other than me? I've downloaded the Allouette II and III and also am flying the 206. I learned a lot from Hoversafe and I'm enjoying the rotary wings immensly! so much in fact, that I almost forgot how to fly the fixed wing aircraft! If I'm the only one to fly in FS 2000 I guess I'll have to try and get 2k2. Hey all,On Saturday 3 Aug 02 I plan on opening a Multiplayer session for virtual helo pilots in general and AS 365 pilots specifically. The flight is a planned route from Humberside Airport in SE U.K. to the Glomar Adriatic V in the North Sea. Rest assured that there will be ample parking as the GA is surrounded by both the Amethyst Field and the West Sole Field. The session is not limited to Dauphin pilots alone. Any helo is acceptable but be aware that at alt I usually set a 130kt cruise. Hard to keep up in a 206. That being said. . . Here is the list of sceneries that are required in order to have a place to alight (land for some of you seized-wingers):1. Glomar …

Someone was asking about Ian awhile back. Here's one of the pics he sent me recently. It was taken some months ago during it's maiden flight. He has since progressed to inverted hovering and other precision maneouvers.http://members.shaw.ca/cbooth/08.jpgCalhover long and prosper

Howdy all....First and foremost: Awesome Dauphin!!!!!Second: I have an issue with the controls. Mine is with the Yaw: It does'nt work! I've editd the dauphin.cfg to allow my collective to work, but my yaw just does'nt want to cooperate....even though it is properly taged:yaw=1,Z;I use a Saitek Cyborg 3D Gold USB. With this problem comes the autopilots incapability to controll the yaw (I presume), so when its time to hover, the engine torque takes over......Any Ideas? Here's another question! What does the following do?:-force_trim_release -toggle_coupler Thanks alot everyone!!Max(CYUL)
