I had to re-install FSX and all my addons. When i re-installed my Carenado products that were from retail boxes, i was unable to see the structure view: so, i made sure everything was updated, Win8, Nvidia drivers...and still no luck. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help....

The Piper Mailibu Jetprop comes with its own set of checklists which is nice, but there are two problems here: Carenado products seem to always omit the instructional of where to find a particular switch or instrument on the cockpit, in particular its hotspots. Gross omission. The checklists are complete and nice but I need the checklist that contains the items that are ACTUALLY SIMULATED, not those found in the real plane that are not simulated. In such case IF the real ones are going to be included for the sake of completion (I think that is better) then put them in grey tones so that the reader can realize that particular item is NOT simulated.

Just got the 46T. The FD/AP switch will activate one time. The switch is then physically "stuck" on. No amount of clicking will budge it. End flight, reset and the same? Also, just found the overhead battery button does the same. I have many Carenados and never seen this before. I've restarted/rebooted, but no change. Thanks, Mark

I can turn on all the Garmin systems once the a/c is ready to taxi but I can't find the hotspot to turn on the weather radar below the XPDR and ADF. Found it, had to zoom in a lot and got it to display the rings. No weather yet but it is a beginning.

I bought the PA46T for Christmas and am still trying it out in preparation for the long flight -in stages- from KVRB (Vero Beach, where Piper Aircraft is located) down to MPMG. I have noticed that the instrument panel is very hard to read, can't really read much out of it and if I pop out the 2D MFD then it doesn't look very realistic :( If I zoom in close to read then I am afraid I lose most of the situational awareness. Also, is there an equivalent MFD that I can use undocked in a laptop?

Hi all:There are a handful of nice repaints over at flightsim that you might be interested in. In the file search area, just type in JetProp. I'd like to ask the painters here if they could do a USA reg. ("N" numbers) repaint of the current Meridian paint schemes. Here are some pics of a couple 2012's:

Forgive me if this issue has already been addressed, I am new to these forums and also new to this aircraft. I've only been flying the Malibu for a couple of weeks and it is a superb aircraft. The main reason I was interested in it is for the avionics, namely the G500, which is really unique. I seem to be having a problem with it however. During the first 5 or 10 minutes of flying the aircraft, if I have anything loaded in the G530 (non reality xp version) and the MFD on map 1 page, the moving map will freeze until I switch pages, or views, or change the range or something. This seems to happen both in the VC and 2D version of the panel. I can't pinpoint any one thi…

Is there a way to adjust the height of the wheel on the electric tug to get it out of the ground? Right now it looks like it has a flat tire.

Just a quick question, when I press Shift+E the aft main exit opens, but when I press Shift+E+2, it opens the same door. I know the aircraft.cfg must be edited but I'm not sure the actual section I should edit. Thanks for the help.

Why our panel lights are too bright to see the darkness of the night? Many developers include on their projects the dimmable panel lights, others will do it on future like "Carenado", but we can not still flying without looking throug the window. Take a look to this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbwdzZ1cGdU Here is the Malibu with the panel lights at 5 %. Please developers add dimmable panel lights option to make our flights more realistic. Thank you.

Well, after realising that I'm still flying my JetProp very regularly (which points to liking her a lot), I was wondering what could be done to enhance the current PT6A-21 model. FLIGHTO actually made the point some time ago. So what would a PT6A-35 powered JetProp give you? First of all, that's 'just' another variant of the engine already running. The rough description would be that the -35 is much better at altitude. And that's the regime the JetProp should be flying the most, right? As to how much better, the comparison charts are available at JetProp, LLC. The rw planes after 2003 or so all came with the -35 to my knowledge. But lets look at some specs. …

Hi folks. Great aircraft, but sorry the strobe light effects are pretty bad. I went into the .cfg and found that they are embedded into the actual model. Hopefully a better effect can be added in a future update.Ross

I feel like a fool, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to balance my fuel while in flight. Can somebody please explain this to me, and where to find the appropriate switches in the cockpit? I would be greatly appreciative. At the momen I am listing heavily to the left on my way into KLAX

A bit late to the party, but I just bought the PA46T yesterday. After having flown the RA Turbine Duke extensively, I've really started to like turboprops and wanted a single-engine variant too. While the PA46T lacks any detailed documentation, much of what's in the Flying Guide for the Duke seems to apply, with a few differences. I realize that they're two totally different airplanes, so there should be differences, but there are a few things that stand out. In the Duke, when you reduce propeller RPM, the pitch and volume of the sound decreases, making for a quieter cabin. In the PA46T, reducing propeller RPM increases the engine sound. I thought the point of red…

Hi guys, I found some guidelines for flying a propjet in the RW and the modelling looks really very good. Do any of you guys fly the VFR pattern with it? What procedures do you use...power settings, speeds, flaps. I have been thinking 120 downwind with a notch. 110 base second notch, 100 final last notch. Also some nagging questions and observations about the checklist. Startup clearance button doesn't work...right? The checklist says to move the fuel condition lever when Ng gets up to 15 but mine only seems to get up to 12. Checklist says alternator on and charge the batteries for 20 seconds. Is that the Standby Alt on the overhead? Am I missing something? Checkist me…

Hi all, Carenado let me trade out the B200 for the PA46. Already took it up for a flight and very, very pleased with both it's FDE and the 'checklist complete' part of it...ony a few things seem stubbed out. Didn't seem like we had a good checklist so I went digging and found lots of docs on the PA46-DLX here.... http://www.jetag.ch/index.php/de/airplane/training-manuals With a cursory look, seems like the numbers are fairly close or a good place to start for a decent checklist. Flies very nice.,,really good framerates...good climber and, wow, you don't need much runway. Of course, it's a looker. Gregg

Don't see that anyone else reported this issue, so I assume it is something I am doing wrong in respect to this aircraft. I do not have with any other model the issue I am about to describe. Flying three different RNAV/LPV approaches today (three totally different airports, all in Minnesota) with the RXP530 and AP coupled for LPV approaches, when I got inside the OM and clicked off the AP to take manual control, the Malibu veers off to the right and in one case pitched the nose up as well. I checked my yaw damper setting after the first occurrence, and turned it off before the second approach. That made no difference. I looked at other control settings and did not id…

I just uploaded a corrected .bmp for the night panel. The Yaw damper switch disappeared at night.... I replaced the light bulb. Should be up soon. Look for "Carenado JetProp Night Panel Corrected" in the lib.

Hi there, and thank you for the help and the work that a lot of people make to solve problem and enhance the pleasure of flying this beautiful plane. I have a question about the right working of the LOC (ILS) in the PFD: I set the NAV1 frequency in the GPS pointing to an ILS, set the GPS CDI to NAV, set the PFD to NAV1, then I click to cursor in PFD, click the knob in the hidden point to center the arrow and... it lines up to the flight direction, like the HDG bug, or, sometimes, it lines up to the right bearing, but it doesn't move anymore, even if the rose turns while making a turn. In others words, it's unusable to find the right bearing to the airport! So, I know th…
