PA46T Malibu JetProp HD Series FSX | P3D

  1. Started by vonmar,

I use the "L" key at night to get the panel lights on. But that turns on all lights. ... is there a switch I overlooked on the panel itself?

I created a GPU to work with P46T and huge thank you to the brilliance of Doug Dawson who created and share the battery charger dll. so no more depleted battery if you dont have FSUIP4, extended battery life setting or unrealistic aircraft.cfg setting to give you battery life for ever. FSX battery deplete very quickly and if you really take your time with proper start up you would have found that by the time you wnat to start the engines, then your C90 do not have sufficiant power to start the plane current workarounds: - Most use FSUIP4 with setting "Extend battery life indefinitely" - Manually add an entry to the FSX plane aircraft.cfg under [ELECTRICAL] sec…

I am definitely going to buy the Reality GNS 530 XP. What about the Jetline 4 gauges? Anyone use these? Thanks!

  5. Started by Pete491,

Is there a payware version of the G500 that has all of the functionality of the real thing? Thanks!

  6. Started by Pete491,

I have had a strange thing happen for the third time just now. I suddenly lose power to my G500, 430, 530 & AP. I did see a post earlier in this forum that a similar thing has happened and that resetting the radio master would bring the power back up. Not here. I've tried everything to power these units back up but the only way to bring them back on line is to reset the flight. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks!

For those that have the C90 and want to use the EX500 in the place of the weather gauge. Yes it can be done with a bit of effort... and this is what mine look like after a bit of panel beating, also have nice 2D popup all added.. Really work nice..

Before I purchase the Carenado PA-46T, I was curious if only having the GNS430 would work fine with the plane. Is there a way to integrate a dual 430 setup into the panel since I don't have the 530? Would it be worth the $40 to fly it with only the GNS430? Thanks in advance, Alex

I just hit my 20 hour mark in this a/c and i have yet to see any of the talked about TAS per GPH that the charts claim...As per the charts: I should be getting around roughly 230-240 true at FL270 2000rpm Prop, under 700lbs.ft., all with under 28GPH..I cannot even get close. I am upwards of 36Gph and not acclerating to those true speeds with over 800lbs/ft ?I am interested in the 2000 RPM range only..I have printed the charts from Jetprops site that show 2000RPM at the flight levels. What is everyone getting? I know there might be a limitation to FSX but I was really under the assumption that I would be able to see 250+ true at cruise...I know its comparing apples to oran…

First off, great job Carenado on another winner! I have noticed a few anomalies.I have no switch sounds. (anyone else?) or landing sounds.Fuel gauges don't move until 40gals.Fuel pressure is never in the green even with pumps on.No dome light click spot.Oil temp stays at 84-87 regardless of door position or OAT.Is it possible to change the fuel selector to rightclick for right tank and left click for left tank? Mine is reversed and I end up cutting the fuel when trying to switch tanks.

  13. Hello !Could some confirm/deny that G500 works with RXP GNS 530/430 ? I had read 10's of posts and can get solid answer to decide to buy or pass. Some says it works and others have problems.1. Will Carenado's G500 show on MFD flight plan route entered into RXP GNS530/430 ?2. Will Carenado's G500 follow the changes made into active flight plan ( like selecting approach for example in RXP GNS ? )thanksEricson

  14. Is it possible to have the Garmin 500 display other nearby aircraft. Other aircraft I own show other aircraft nearby with a small symbol showing if they are above or below me. Is this possible with the Garmin 500. Currently I do not see this being displayed. Thanks,Jim

Hi All. In my PA46T Malibu, the autopilot clicks OFF on it's own. I only notice this when I observe that the aircraft is no longer following the Flight Plan. Upon checking the Autopilot the switch will be in the OFF position. I reset the Autopilot and soon it happens again and again. Does anyone have a suggestion? Also, is there a pop-up for the overhead. Panning up does not give a good view.Dave

In looking closely at the aircraft.cfg while trying to solve the missing door closing sounds several weeks ago, I noticed that this section of the aircraft.cfg shows there are four exits -[exits]number_of_exits = 4exit.0 = 0.4 // (0=Main 1=Emergency)exit.1 = 0.4 // (0=Main 1=Emergency)exit.2 = 0.4 // (0=Main 1=Emergency)exit.3 = 0.4 // (0=Main 1=Emergency)exit.0 is the main cabin door - Shift+Eexit.1 is the cargo door in the nose - Shift+E+2exit.2 is ????exit.3 is ????When you try Shift+E+3 or Shift+E+4, your can hear the sounds of doors opening and closing. No matter how hard I have looked, both inside and outside the Malibu, there are no other hatches , doors, drawers,e…

After figuring out to load PA46 in my C:fsx/microsoft flt sim fsx file instead of program files/86, I have a airplane but no matter how many times I cycle the radios on/off I have no display. I obviously have the generator on and the avionics switch on. When I copied the files to where I wanted/needed them, I notices all the gauge files were still zipped so I unzipped them into the gauge folder....all the .bmp's are there. No fun flying without airspeed, radios, gps, etc. BTW even with the radio knob "on" I can't select frequencies. Any help would be appreciated. Tom

I am at my wits end with this issue.... This is the deal.. This happens with about 50% of my flights.I setup flight as normal, load the aircraft within the sim, run down the checklist to the T. Flight plan is up and the Garmin navs are set to GPS.I am now pre-take off: Enter the initial assigned altitude into the G500 along with the VS. Turn the bug to RWY heading. Enable the FD/AP master switch...........I take off. Everything is normal.I click VS on the STEC to enable AP climb out (roughly 1000ft) - it works as normal.I click HDG on the STEC to have the AP hold the RWY HDG and the aircraft turns away from the HDG bug and holds a HDG 30 to 40 + degrees off. See first pi…

After watching alot of rw film on this a/c....Does anyone feel that this plane is to "Rivety"??? it seems that the r/w planes wing just look alot smoother looking out of the pilot seat? I know there are limitations within FSX but perhaps we can tone down the shadows on the rivets? It seems that the a/c might even render better on the spot view also?

A rather embarassing power off emergency landing on a country road outside of Toledo, Ohio proved to me that I don't fully understand the JetpropX's fuel system.I thought after the fuel was exhausted in each wing (total 140 gallons) that the 11 gallons in the header tank would be used up before the engine died. Sort of a very small reserve tank, if you will.In actuality, the engine died when the fuel in the wing tanks was exhausted and the level in the header tank never changed from 11 gallons. In reading the manuals at www.jetag.ch, I learned that fuel goes from the wing tanks to collector tanks in each wheel well. Then the fuel from the collector tanks is pumped into the…
