Hello, I read a lot of in the Internet how to install Ezdok to Prepar3d. Well, I got it and I can open the menu from ezdok in the simulator. But my problem is, when I want to add a new view I create for example in the Virtual Cockpit Section a new view and then press NUM 2 (you can hear now a noise). While I am hearing the noise I move with the arrow Keys to my favored position and press NUM 2 again. The noise is gone. So usually the new View should be saved, but it isn´t! The new view is still the old view. What is wrong? I hope you can help me. And sorry for my bad english...

Hey guys,I've had quite some time of investigation in a problem with the fantastic OrbX PNW scenery.In short:Using "complex" planes (A2A (Piper), Flight1 (Mustang), PMDG (MD11, 747X), FSLabs (Concorde X) and Carenado (Bonanza) so far) at or around Seattle (KSEA) leads to nearly reproducibly crashes ("fatal error") of FSX and I want to find out which configuration triggers this behavior as this might happen on some systems and on many others not.As I'm currently updating a thread in the FTX forums, I'm looking for some other people that have constant instabilities at and around this area. Good evening all- I just got my 3 Dells set up and working with nVidia Surround on my Titan (Win7_64bit, 337.88WHQL). Everything is good. Now, the weird stuff... I lost almost everything off my desktop; shortcuts, files, folders Precision etc. but they are still at Users > Desktop All of my task bar shortcuts are gone: Inspector, AivlaSoft, GPU-Z, etc. Have no idea where they went. FSUIPC and FSDT manager are no longer available on the menu bar which may explain no airport buildings at KSFO (my home base). Hi, A word of warning, don't install the newly released GeForce 340.43 beta driver. I was rewarded for my efforts with random blue terrain textures, everything is back to normal since rolling back to last driver 337.88. This is the first time a Nvida driver update has caused me any issues. If anyone is running the latest driver without terrain corruption then let me know. Cheers, Ross

Apologies for raising airfield elevation again, but I still find this difficult to understand... The airfield at Skiathos (a Greek island) is pretty much at sea level - Wikipedia says 54ft but it's a sloping runway and the threshold is in the harbour and you look up to the bigger boats...54ft is the other end, to give departing tubeliners a chance to avoid a sea-water bath. I'm using a freeware Skiathos which works fine in FSX but in P3Dv2 the runways etc are way up in the air on cliffs, much more than 54ft. Other local freeware airports (Athens, Thessaloniki) are fine. Obviously the scenery is designed for FSX - but how can FSX and P3D be so different for a …

If the ambient room temperature is higher in the summer you might want to watch the temperatures of the GPU (video processor) and core-0 (CPU). One quirk of P3D is that it does not use core-0. This has led many to to change the Affinity setting to use it with P3D. The new issue is that core-0 now gets a lot of usage. That seems harmless relative to performance. However, on a hot day core-0 may overheat due to high usage. There is a way to balance the usage so that all cores participate somewhat evenly. Using Task Manager go to Affinity and turn off core-0 and click ok. Then turn on core-0 and click ok The usage is now spread more evenly reducing the chanc…

Just a heads up I didn't know this but Looking into sun causes low fps - read this in Orbx forums and LM is aware of it and I would assume would be addressed in 2.3

Hello guys. Just looking for some help as im pretty new to P3D. I have been trying a few tweaks etc for a couple of days and am getting stutters (default aircraft, havent tried to port over add ons yet) My specs are; Intel i5 2500k, 4.5Ghz Gtx 560 Ti GPU 650w Modular PSU H60 water cooler Here are my settings; The only tweak in CFG is; [JOBSCHEDULER] AffinityMask=84 Any help is greatly appreciated, Is there other tweaks i should be adding ? Hi Ok still trying to get my head round p3d but I get what I assume is stuttering but only in high banking turns where the outside view is sort of trying to catch up with itself. In normal straight/level flight not really a problem. At the moment I have my settings mostly to the right with the exception of the cloud shadows that are set at 10000 It seems to happen whether its a slow of fast aircraft just wondered if there are any obvious settings to lower so the banked turns are a little smoother. Hey guys, On a clean 2.2 install (deleted all appropriate folders after 2.1 uninstall), I am seeing blurries after a few minutes of flying around. I only have installed ORBX PNW so far but this also happens in default areas. I never had issues with 2.1 I am using the same sliders settings (Clouds shadow on, to min settings) I also installed the latest NVIDIA Drivers, and backed out 1 release but no difference. My system is running a i7-3770 @4.2 GHz / 16GB RAM, and my graphics card is a GTX680 Any insights/settings/anything you could recommend? I have to say...that since my installing P3D v2.2, I have really taken to the water. Today, while tooling around PNW, near 11S (Sekiu) I decided to land the C208 in the bay..and then 'magically' transform it into the Sirocco GTX2, for a cruise around that bay..and then head down the coast. I have found that boating, because of all the Shadows upon the land, water, vegetation, etc...makes for such realistic view-scape (my word..), that it goes far beyond the plausible. Hey guys, I just bought 4 different airports and the CRM pack with this great ORBX sale, but as I was checking out I noticed they aren't officially "P3Dv2 compatible". I was wondering if anyone had any idea of how--err, broken--these airports are that aren't offically v2 ready? If it's bad I'll just use them in FSX, but I was wondering if it's worth putting them into P3D. Thanks for any input,

Just downloaded the latest version of the this software - with the intention of trialing and maybe buying it - the reason I am using it is I have trouble getting all my controllers (warthog throttle and stick and Saitek rudder pedals working all together) so someone recommended trying this. Obviously have read the manual but I am still struggling to figure out how it all works - I am really only interested in the controller part of the product so can someone talk me through how it all works (in simple terms because I am not so good with IT stuff) or direct me to a beginners guide - have managed to find the add-on window in the prepar3d menu screen at the top......(just …

Well a big hello from a new member :excl:. I'm having a new system built, specifically for FSX. That means the looong dance of reinstallation. I have a fair number of the FTX sceneries from PNW to Central Rockies, and also Alaska. Question: what is the proper order of installation? Presume PNW, Fjords, N Rockies, Central Rockies and so on. Or, does the library automatically install in correct order. Been awhile since installation took place, so a little amiss on what to do. Regards, Eagle

From what I have understood P3D1 got to 1.4. Does this mean we can expect P3D2.3 and another update but nothing more ? How much more will this mean in P3D2 development. How long time is normal between each 'X' ? I'm a little concerned that P3D2 is going obsolete to early meaning we will not see many add on taking advantage of its potential.

I am looking for a good quality Boat and Helicopter to use with the new ORBX Squamish scenery. Anybody have any recommendations? Thanks,

Hello all, thanks for the help in what scenery to get i decided on the ORBX stuff because it was in the sale this weekend, so I've got England,Scotland,Ireland and Wales I do all my flying vfr in the UK, I wondered if i would see any difference if i got ORBX Vector or if i needed the Global scenery as well as the ones i have already, any help would be appreciated. Apologies if this has been discussed before. But I'm trying to find a list of settings that have the most impact on fps. So far it looks line the #1 item on this list is cloud shadows. Any others that the tweak maestro's here can divulge. Just got ORBX CYSE last night and am trying to tweak the system to get max fps. At the below settings I am usually able to sustain 30fps in most of the areas, but CYSE is not cooperating. 4770k @4.5 2560x1600 fps Titan BLACK -boost clock 1020 ASN with 3 layer tweak Cloud shadows off 4x multi + 4xSGAA Track IR Ezdok AM 125 PRIORITY HIGH FPS locked at 30 VSYNC + Triple buffering enabled
