Hello everybody Without having anything changed at all on my system (that i know of), i can't hear any voice on vpilot (with P3Dv5) anymore. The "RX" button in the top remains dark as well even though there are transmissions on the frequency. The other users can hear me fine and the "TX" button illuminates as well. I tried updating windows as well as all kinds of drivers on my system but nothing helped. Has anyone an idea of what could be going on? I've read on some other groups that deleting the 'Job Scheduler' in the CFG before each sim start helps to stop stutters. Can anyone shed some light on this? What exactly should I be deleting?

I have P3d V5.2 on the same computer for 3 years. 7700K CPU with Titan X card. I never saw this until now - let me describe. When I am turning the plane I see 1000's of small vertical lines (across the entire screen) where the clouds meet the horizon or sky meets the water. It is only in that region - it only happens when I am in a turn on the initial tilt only for 1 second. I wish I can take a photo of this, but it happens too quick and too small to show up ina photo.

Hi guys, I am testing the newest Nvidia driver in the 511.23 series. In the past I have not installed GE force, but gave it a try this time. It still does not include our sim. So, is there any value to it or should I simply uninstall it and take back the drive space it uses. If its only value is to alert me to new drivers out from Nvidia, I an do that on my own. I have not been able to download most of the P3Dv5.3 install files without getting "hash does not match" errors using the Checksum utility. Some components pass the checksum test but most don't. I get the same outcome after many repeated downloads. Have no problems with other large downloads eg the recent MSFS 2020 update. Seems to be some hassle with the P3D site. Any suggestions? Looks like I will have to revert to 5.2. Thanks Bruce

Howdy, all! So I was just taking the Aerosoft A320 from Oslo to Helsinki in P3D V3.4, when I had to end a flight for the strangest reason. I took off, and all was well, besides a little turbulence. As I climbed, though, the wind started shifting back and forth as it sometimes does, but it started to get faster and faster, to the point where I'd have a tailwind one moment, and a headwind the next. Within a few minutes, it was switching every few frames. It seemed to be stuck in some sort of loop, since it was switching between the exact same two speed/direction combos the entire time. First I tried to just refresh my weather (which is FSXWX), but that didn't help…

Hi everyone, I get the Just Flight Chipmunks (both versions) and I would like to know if there is an issue with my installation or is not possible by default to open engine cover, remove pilots and show/hide security equipments. I try as the manual said (shift+e+2,3) but nothing happen. Maybe is a feature only for FSX but in the manual I can't find any reference about P3D v4 and v5. I'm on P3D V4.5 and FSGRW and I've read on AVSIM forums, people were having this issue also in P3D V3 and still having it in P3D V5: Everytime I'm flying at high altitude and having strong winds, wind is shifting within a fraction of a second from 85kt headwind to 40kt tailwind and so on. The higher the wind speed, the more significant the wind direction changes and the difference in wind speed is for the True Airspeed and this leads to overspeed and stall conditions, making it impossible to fly at high altitude. Hi ,I have a probem with CS 767F.My ZFW entry does not accept it in FMC.When I put a number in ZFW, nothing happens.If I give too much or too little, an error message will also appear.But if I enter 110 in ZFW, nothing happens.I only have the problem with the 767F.No problems with 767-300ER or 757-200 and 757F ..Only with the 767F I can't change the ZFW and it always stays at 90Where is the problem ?thx

Hi, I just found out that the one-man-show developer of a Tupolev Tu-154B-2 for P3D version 4.5 released version 1.0 within the past couple days as a payware product. A demo is available, and one can purchase a license through a rather, in my opinion, convoluted process. Anticipating further English-language support and additional bug fixes, but it's a beautiful model in the sim right now. Not sure if it will be moved to P3Dv5, but I know the dev is planning on looking into a version for MSFS in the (distant) future. I'm getting oil storage tanks overlapping with water towers in P3Dv5.3: https://mega.nz/file/FdpXxQSB#tJ9g8zvPEcYdrduuzenrQ71mY3klnARImD-tNEGhhpc My guess is that either P3D or Orbx doesn't know the difference between a storage tank and a water tower and uses the same 3D object for both, while Nuvecta does know where the water towers should go and draws them in the same location. Is there a way to tell P3D to not use or associate storage tanks with water tower locations, remove the file(s), etc -- in other words, remove them so the Nuvecta proper water towers can be drawn instead?

Why the brown, tannish haze while airborne? Middle of the day above the clouds (FL330). This is in v5.3 with hotfix. EA on, VClouds off. ASCA and ASP3D. Must I turn off EA to eliminate this?

Hello everyone, i am using P3D v3 Is it normal that when I play a record from FSRecorder, the AI aircraft lights doesn´t show at any moment, no strobes, no landing, no beacon? I have the lights section checked but it doesnt work, the aircraft doesnt have lights, and it would be very nice to see the plane in the dark , and not only using it during the day. Thank You

Hi Guys, Bit of advice if possible,ive being running P3Dv5.3 on my system for 2 weeks now and im totally happy with it. I would like to uninstall P3Dv4.5 to save some space on my SSD, but would just like to know the correct procedure, as i wouldnt want to delete anything connected to P3Dv5.3. With Thanks Gary Jones.

Hello guys, is there any tweak to reduce the brightness of the moon? In V5 the moon illuminates the aircraft a lot so the night is not very dark. Are anyone using HDR?
