My system: i7 [email protected], RTX 2080, 32B Ram@ 4000mhz, SSD's yada yada. I have never had good anti aliasing on my system and P3D is the worst. All the straight edges of wings for example always have shimmering no matter what my settings are. The aircraft in the scenerio preview window don't seem to be using AA aither as they always have jaggies tp some extent. Certain drivers seem to be better than others, but I've never had the quality of AA I would expect from a RTX 2080. Hi just wondering if there is anyone knows how to get p3dv5 running on a low end pc

Is anyone else struggling with Carenado installations in v5.3? I've tried 4 different aircraft installations and while the install completes with no errors, each aircraft is plagued with transparent panels/surfaces and controller issues. Only the throttle and prop levers are recognized using my TQ6. Tried setting up mixture levers in both P3D and FSUIPC... no joy. Submitted a support ticket with Carenado a couple of days ago. On a positive note, the Milviz KA350i is working flawlessly for me in v5.3! Do I remember correctly that if I have both Rex Environmental Force and Sky Force 3D that I only need to run Sky Force 3D before launching the sim? (P3D v4.5) I tried to find where I read that and couldn't find it, now I'm questioning myself. Thanks. Bob Koehler

In p3d, there is no usable a340, so I using bbs a340. But if there are people who still use blackbox widebody products in p3d. Does the path contain a your Prepar3d/BlackBox Simulation\Airbus A330 Family= "panel.ini" file? 답글

Hi, Does anyone have the Aerosoft Pro A330, using the Honeycomb throttles and FSUIPC control assignments working in P3Dv5.3 HF2? I had it working in P3Dv4 after a lengthy journey that included the AS forums, FSUIPC forums, and a number of Google searches - which resulted in it one day mysteriously working with my old Saitek throttles. But when I purchased the Honeycomb throttle and tried the same process, the reversers no longer worked properly. I know it's meant to use the standard P3D control assignments, but I found that never really worked and it also screwed up my assignments for all my other aircraft. Hi Guys, Got a bit of an issue with Strobes/Nav lights at night... On the ground they look amazing, Strobes pulsing... Once I get airborne they disappear, wing is in total darkness...Upon landing, they reappear...Is this a known issue as haven't done much night flying.. Dave

...P3D is looking better than ever! I like their C-47/DC-3 (which I purchased) and will be happy to try whatever else they offer that looks interesting. Like Liberace, I'll laugh all the way to the bank while everyone is crying from the dust in their eyes carving the gravestone for P3D.

Hi all! Just to share some amazing weather phenomena at Flight ANA186 in PMDG 777-200ER (no A380 available ;-)). Im just on my way from RJAA to PHNL heading east. At FL 370 I get 190kts wind from the west! Insane Jetstreams above the ocean. This makes "us" flying 1220km/h GS! Im glad to fly in this direction......otherwise it would be a very long flight! Anybody knows whether it is possible to change the lifetime of contrails in Effects folder, like it was in FS9 & FSX ? I gave it a try, but did not work.

I am trying to get NVIDIA performance overlay to work on my monitor but FPS doesn't show. It is always N/A. Everything else shows properly. I tried advanced as well or basic but FPS are no go. I had before only FPS displayed but that disappeared as well.... LOL. Not even sure why. Not sure if anyone has a tip I can use to fix this. Also it doesn't have to be NVIDIA. I tried overlay from GPU tweak but no go! If anyone else has suggestion I would appreciate...... Thanks

As per title, Toga have released an update to Envtex and Envshade for compatibility with the latest HF. Available through EnvUpdater among other methods.

I have a problem that appears to be unique to ORBX NZQN add on. I contacted ORBX but they just suggested deleting the shaders folder, only problem is that I don't use any shaders and in any case it didn't work. Anyone have any experience with this?

I just installed (KMIA) Miami X Intl airport into both v4.5 and v5.3 HF2. I started off with v4.5 to check it out. The property is fantastic...very well detailed...gates, cargo, planes...very nice...and the price most generously, at $0.00 by the Dev's is a great gift of generosity! Check it out with your account over at Sim Market! v4.5 FPS...in the toilet...with the sim at full throttle: 12-17 FPS. v5.3 HF2 flying high at 28-33 fluctuating depending on the view... I cranked up my P3Dv5.3 for a flight around the San Francisco Bay Area (ORBX NorCal scenery) and all the small boat's wakes go straight up into the stratosphere. I went to Seattle to test out Puget Sound and likewise all the small boat's wakes are straight up. I haven't added anything new to the simulator or changed anything. Yesterday everything was alright but today the wakes have left the water and gone to the sky. The Henirik big ship wakes appear to be OK. It's only the small boat wakes. Noel

Looking at getting one of the available San Diego sceneries for use in v5. ORBX and LatinVFR are both available, any opinions on which is the superior product? If it's any help I would be using it with FTX Global and without FTX SoCal. I see this has been asked before, but I am looking for opinions from people who may have used both versions of the scenery.

Has anyone heard anything or have any information about quality wings and their 787 ? The last I heard was they were working on bringing the 787 to MSFS to be released 2021and also working on further development on the P3D 787. I’ve looked on Facebook, twitter and all those other social media platforms where young trendy people like to hang out , and the last post I can find by QW was in March 2021. I do hope nothing bad has happened. With all the trouble PMDG are having with bringing their 737 to MSFS I can’t help but worry. Hi Suddenly the sim only uses 8,1 of 12 GB. Get a warning note during flight (dont now exact wording saying something about reducing setting) when i click ok CTD. Did uninstall and reinstall of sim also deleted drivers with DDU and installing latest drivers, I Have many addons from ORBX, PMDG FSlabs and a lot more. Dont know whats happening one month ago or so had no issues. My specs see signature. LM Forum did not find a solution to fix my problem.

What's the consensus on this scenery? Never thought much about it, but I find myself flying the Q400 now much more often. thanks

Now that the latest update is generally accepted, please share your current gfx v5.3hf2 settings for overall fluid day/night flying the most heavy airliners to the most heavy hubs and sceneries on i9+ NV 2080+ hardware in 1440p+ resolutions, nothing too much fancy. Particularly I'm looking for Optimal (as opposed to Best) World and Lighting Settings, scenery objects, draw distances, reflections, dynamic lighting, shadow quality and object shadows.
