I have been unable to log into Simbrief all day today. Funnily enough, I can get Navigraph updater to work. Even going to Navigraph and trying to connect to Simbrief from there is no good. There is no message, just a 404, not available. Anyone got some news?

Years ago I had set up Shift+Z to go from red...to yellow.. BUT...I was able to border the yellow with a BLACK background. Really made reading the text a whole lot easier. I can't find a thing on how to do it now. Plenty of info on how to change the 'RGB' colors....but nothing on how to add that BLACK background !!! Anybody done this ?? Thanks for any help Skip d

In order to set it as cold and dark in the manual, It currently contains the following line regarding Cold and Dark: //panelstate=coldanddark.pnl Remove the // so it should only read: panelstate=coldanddark.pnl There is a content like this, but qw787.cfg of my Prepar3D v5\QualityWings does not contain //panelstate=coldandark.pnl, but it disappeared as it was updated?

I have tried upscaling feature but cannot see any advantage ( higher fps ) which is largely advertised on YT. Have anyone had good result from running NIS in P3D5?

Hi all, I've had this problem to a certain extent ever since I updated to v5. My main problem is that after long flights beyond 7-8 hours in length P3D will often just freeze and CTD with no prior warning. Sometimes I get similar behaviour just by entering data in to an FMC (an issue I have had both in the PMDG 747-400 and the Leonardo Maddog which makes me thing this is not related to either of those addons. The complicating factor in this is that these crashes never trigger an event viwer entry, which basically gives me nothing to go on. Using ASP3D for weather. I then tried installing ASCA. That's when things went south. So I uninstalled ASCA. After which I lost my whole sky. I then unistalled ASP3D as well, but still a black sky. How do I get my sky textures back? I'm in the dark☹️

Is there anyway to turn off the default airport runway flashing lights , I find them unrealistic ?

Hello Guys, A strange issue has reared up for me... I seem to have acquired a lot of what can only be described as little fairy lights hovering about 2 feet above the runway, no support, just a little light. They are both in the middle and on the edge.. anybody know what's going on and how to stop them appearing. Dave

I've got a fairly high end system but its a couple of years old. 9900K, 2080ti, etc. I am thinking of doing a wipe and clean install of everything. I've got 2 - 2 TB samsung NVME 980 Pros. Is there an advantage anymore of installing on the system drive or the other? I want to keep all my P3D stuff on the same drive. Issue is, I've done a poor job and my C drive is now full while D is only 30%.... obviously I have lots more than P3D so P3D is not the issue but just want to clean things up.

Just uploaded LogEditv2 Logbook editor to the AVSIM library (file LogEditv2-0.zip). Reads P3D/FSX/FSXSE Logbook.bin files with error detection and some correction. Allows conversion between FSX and P3D formats and importing from either format. Tools include Combine Records and Remove Empty Records. Hi We are using a P3D model and having issue to activate the tracker mode (TRK) for take off mode. We follow the flight manual, having aircraft on runway with FD on, A/T switch ARM, N1 set via TRP and we don't see the TRK indicator appeared on the PFD (refer to below Qualitywings manual) Can someone please let us know what else we need to do to activate this tracker mode ? Hi, Everyone I can't launch P3D v4 after setting PMDG737 RJTT Scenario instead of initial F22. I think you will be asked many times about it. Hi everyone! I have the impression I read something about it earlier, but I couldn't find the reference at the moment. The problem I sometimes experience is, let's call it, a 'visibility wall'. It's a definite screen of lower visibility / fog / haze, which I can easily see when moving the plane in the spot view. I have just taken a screenshot and would like to show you. You can see it coming through the plane. I'm on Prepar3Dv5.3-HF1-HF with ActiveSky, ASCA and Envshade. The screenshot was taken at MK-Studios Helsinki, but I have seen the wall in other locations too. Does anyone recognize the issue and know if it can be fixed somehow? Thank…

I have read this happening somewhere before but cannot find a solution that works. I get the dreaded stuttering and freezing every so often (not every flight), I am able to save the flight, reload the flight and all is well. Not sure what is causing this but I have tried many things when this happens and only a save and restart works. After reload I can finish the flight with no problems. 5.3 with the hotfixes is the smoothest ever, except for this problem which happens every 3 flights or so. Anyone else get this? I have tried the power saving option, simlink reinstall, EA on and off, ASP3D restart. No luck, save and reload only solution. System: CPU: 19-99…

Is anything to be adjusted in P3D for a smooth transition where autogen and scenery draw distance ends? This abrupt line, besides being ugly it is also not realistic at all. We should not turn on/off EA or reduce visibility just to cover this issue. MSFS managed to have a smooth transition to a more realistic experience, while this issue with P3D is present and has not been fixed for years by now.

Just a quick question about the availability of the PMDG 777 package for the latest 777 version, does anyone know if there will be one ? or is there one that I can't find.

I had this in P3D v5.2 HF1 & hoped moving to v5.3 HF1 would fix it, but it hasn't. I have the latest version of the AH DC-3 for P3D v5+ & what appears to be the rivet lines 'sparkle/shimmer' unnaturally, in daytime & at night, per the attached screenshot. (Not just on 1 livery) Anyone else had this, have an idea what is causing it, how to fix it? T45

I am experiencing an issue with FlyTampa Copenhagen v1.4 in P3Dv4 that I must have corrected when I previously had the addon installed, but the issue has reared its ugly head again after reinstalling P3D recently. What look like hedges are appearing across certain taxiways near the terminal. They appear and disappear when I get close, but I have to taxi through them before they disappear. Does anyone know what I mean? If so, do you have the solution? I cannot seem to find it on the FlyTampa forum.

In somewhat surprising news, Aerosoft has published a new scenery for P3D... Pavel Movzer has developed Brno airport and parts of the nearby Czech city to expand his growing list of Central and Eastern European sceneries. Better still, the system requirements state that it is available to both v4.5 and v5 users.
