Got a weird thing happening with couatl.exe in that when I am at KLAS or KPHX the buildings will load up and P3D V 2.4 will pause for a few seconds and the building will disappear, and not CTD (no crash to desktop) P3D keeps running fine - it's just that couatl.exe will unload itself. Note: KDFW is working fine! (KDFW also works with the public beta couatl.exe) Tried re-installing KLAS & KPHX - no worky Tried downloading the stand alone add-on manager - no joy there either! Tried using the Public Test beta Stand alone Mananger V 3.0.03 and no luck Also: No Nvidia streaming stuff running AntiVirus disabled for testing Disabled FTX Vector Here is…

Has anyone been able to get the latest SimLauncher version to work with v2.5? I wanted to give this a try to see if it would help with performance, but on startup I get a message that it's looking for a flight file in the Flights folder. Neither exist in the P3D directory. Any help would be appreciated.

Have just downloaded and installed the new KSEZ scenery from Orbx. It is fantastic. However, in my setup, there are many aircraft and some static vehicles and people now appearing suspended in the air over the airport. I have installed the latest ORBX libs and also used the Airport Elevation Correction in FTX Global Vector. Any thoughts on how to correct this? Apologies, I am new to posting and I may have this in the wrong spot. Thank you.

Taking advantage of the FSGenesis Easter sale, I purchased USA and Alaska/Hawaii, the question is what if anything should be disabled in ORBX or/and the Scenery Library for FSGenesis mesh to work. Alk/Haw installs into the FSX library so I would think it should be placed under ORBX. With USA being installed into Scenery-World-Scenery should ORBX mesh and custom folders be disabled. I have UTX USA and all west coast USA ORBX installed. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Echofox

I've never had an oom in fsx but they are so common in p3dv2 I flew from Orbx KHQM to krnt in the Carenado C550 and then took off again and the OOM imminent warning from FSUPIC started going off but no OOM. I flew from a light payware airport to a default city and the damn thing almost OOMs. Why does LM do nothing to make memory management better ie dumping stuff that's way behind the plane ect. I'm sorry but there are many games that have way better graphics and are 32bit and have none of this oom BS.

Official SP2 ASN IS OUT !! ;-)

I want to install the SP2 pack that is available, but I am running with v2.4, and ASN (SP1) and don't want to wreck ASN, no longer working with v2.4. So the question is...can you install the the SP2 pack, and will ASN still run with v2.4? Anybody? Thanks...

I am aware this is a well covered topic and I have tried following the steps in a number of youtube tutorials and threads on here but still no luck. I think im half way there as now when i start P3D i have the option to view EZCA World Cam and EZCA VC view, however there is no addon menu and I dont know how else to access the studio or make EZdok run properly? pressing shift +D does nothing either. I am pretty sure EZDOK config tool has deleted all my joystick view assignments as they dont seem to work anymore either. Is anybody running this in P3D v2? Any issues?

I brought from FSX a habit of setting Affinity Mask in the configuration file. However, I saw some posts at the L-M forum that suggested P3D does it's own adjustments and I've been giving it a test. For dozens of hours now, I've been running P3D with latest hotfix and ASN beta with PMDG NGX and B77X aircraft and lots of Orbx scenery and FS Global mesh. The result for me is there is no perceptible difference between the optimum AF (254 for 4 core w/HT) and no AF. I was wondering if others have done this trial as well, just to ensure I'm not missing something obvious. Footnote: I have the i7-4790K stock clock 4GHz. I use process explorer to kick ASN off core 0.

In the download section at P3D site, All I see is v2.5 SDK..where can I get V2.4 SDK? any ideas?

Ok, i finally made the switch to p3d. I purchased it before work this morning after doing research the last few days. Another fsx ctd last night convinced me its time. Google hasnt found the answers to all my questions so hopefully you guys wont mind helping me out. Fsuipc? Is it a requiremnt like with previous fs versions? I purchased ftx global and vector, which mesh is better for those? I own fsgenesis but am willing to pony up the money for fsglobal if its better. Hi, Lots of stuff to adjust i see so has anyone a good balance they would like to share ? I have placed UTX2 Europe just below my FTX stuff (besides Vector which is been disabled for now) in the scenery.cfg Questions . Should i disable lights in FTX Global ? Well i can only say what is the best for me B) I could not believe why i had those very very small microstutters all the suddenly (at least i noticed them after a while) but still way better than in FSX. Now i deleted FFTF and now everything is back to suplime P3D. Thank god B) B) Lost maybe 1fps (UTII at 40 % could play here)but hey 43 FPS in EKCH at gate A20 with the NGX is not bad in thunderstorms Michael Moe

Hello, Dunno if that's a normal behaviour but for sure different from my EZDOK 1.17 / FSX experience : every plane gets the same profile i.e. when i create my EZDOK profile it remains the same for every plane. In the past and by default every plane had it's own profile that could be changed independent of the other planes. Best

Dear All, I'm suffering from the missing taxiway syndrom in some airports exported from FSX into my P3D2.5 . If I recall there was a trick using ADE to solve that issue. Would be great if someone could explain in details how to do it. I have no clue how to use ADE. Thanks x 1000000000

Hello there, has anybody encountered the effect in the picture / is it a well known problem? It appears that both clouds and terrain are clipping the road lights (OpenLC Europe Vector Road Lights) I don't know if I should report this to ORBX or LM - or at all in case it's a know bug.

Hey guys! First time starting a topic! I moved from FSX to P3D 2.5 recently. It's awesome! Runs very good on my system. But I have one question as looked on the forum and I couldn't find it (maybe its there) Which software/program do you use to record videos on Prepar3D? Fraps? OBS? Other? Shadowplay? Thanks! :smile:
