All right I just realized I am still on V2.3 not on V2.4 as I have been thinking. Dang! Now I don't have V2.3---> 2.4 Patch! Anyone knows where I can get this?

The bluffs, look real...real rock...reality and simulation is truly starting to blur....the airport and surrounding area is worth the coin you're going to leave behind at The FlightSim Store..... Make sure you download and load in the latest Object Libs for both P3D and FSX, as Sedona needs them.... Running VECTOR auto-airports elevation corrections also recommended.

Posting this to help out with the 2.5 sub-par graphics its not perfect but pretty close - the VC is excellent I am only referring to the external visuals just a bit of shimmering - also with FXAA on you will see a bit of blinking lights on ftx global lights but if you shut this off lights wont blink but anti-aliasing will be a mess - for now have to deal with it - Rob suggested a new driver install fresh - clean your old ones out and use a cleaner then follow the pics I have posted - simple and easy do nothing other than what I have shown in nvidia control panel - in P3D menu its up to you - also like to pass on thanks to Steve in his post where he said try upping the DSR…

Hello, The title says it all. I've done several searches trying to find a definitive answer to this but still am not quite sure. I have Vector now but really do 99% of my flying in EU so I'm thinking about getting UTX EU v2. I know at the very least it is probably more accurate due to its use of commercial data. But, my biggest thing I'm looking to gain here is VAS. Some reports I've seen is that Vector uses 800M. I haven't tried disabling it yet myself to verify that number but that seems like a lot! Numbers I've seen for UTX EU are around 400M. That's quite a savings if it's true. Anyway, can anyone help out with their results? Thanks!

Yesterday I did a flight from ESSA-EKCH during daytime and the performance was really good but on the return leg the day turned into dusk en route and I clearly noticed how the performance (smoothness) dropped so I figured I should do a proper test and this is what I found sitting in a cold and dark NGX @ Aerosoft ESSA with ASN running depicting mostly clear weather at the time. Dawn: 45 FPS Day: 52 FPS Dusk: 40 FPS Night: 42 FPS So no wonder why I clearly noticed the performance drop when the day turned into dusk loosing approx 12 FPS. Hi, I started up P3D and noticed that the vehicle preview was black. I loaded up an airplane and when P3D finished loading, tge screen was completely black. I right clicked to see if the menu worked, and it turned out to show without ant text on it. It must be a file that is missing or I accidentally deleted - anyone have suggestions? Thanks!

I am presently in a flight between KSEZ and KPHX, at 11,500 feet ASL via ASN. The plane is the Carenado SkyMaster C377 v3. I am simply amazed at this setting, and what it has done for general performance on my system. Nothing else, I have ever done, with any kind of modification/tweak in-board, or out-board has given me 7-10 FPS increase, like this one simple .cfg setting has. Why in the world, was this not ever discussed on AVSIM, before the now locked thread. Wow!... Hello, yesterday i installed europe openlc at ftx central... The problem is that; there is not europe icon in ftx central program. What is wrong?

Hello. I have sucessfully installed EZDOK onto P3D, and it loads on the startup etc. I can move the camera around with the edit mode. The problem is, if I create a new camera, and start edit mode, it beeps, I move it to a location, stop edit mode. But when I switch to a different view and back, it hasn't changed? Regards Mads

Hello, I'm just re-installing P3D2.5 on a new computer. That computer has FSX with EZDOK1.18. What is the best way to get EZDOK also working in my new P3D install and keep it also running in my P3D ? Thanks a lot for your help, best Karim

Ok After watching over a couple of threads about VAS and VRAM (both of which I have no clue about), I decided to do a little OOM test. My GPU is an EVGA GTX570 1280MB and CPU an i7 2600k Overclocked @4.6. Not sure if I need to post my P3D settings or what I was flying at the time but if someone needs me to, I will. At the time of the OOM, (or CTD we'll call for now) I was monitoring VRAM through GPUZ and VAS through FSUIPC. VRAM was close to max at 1170MB and VAS was 1564256KB or 1.49179GB. BIG question I want answered here, Do I need to upgrade my GPU??? All answers warmfully welcome Regards, Jimmy..

Hello, I´ve been trying to get to grips with DSR in P3D but, apparently, still haven´t been able to make it work properly. I´ve followed lots of advices found here on the forums, but, whenever I select a higher resolution on P3D settings, all I get is a huge mouse cursor and no apparent visual improvements. From what I´ve read, it should be the opposite (tiny letters on the upper menus and a regular mouse cursor). Also, i´m still seeing a significant amount of shimmering when panning around, although the anti-aliasing seems to be ok (this is with 8xMSAA and 16xAF selected straight in P3D´s settings). Hi guys, Can anyone recommend the most realistic Cloud density settings for P3D V2.5? Is it the same with FSX? I saw Robin settings and he has Titan X, still he is using Medium density. I like the cloud but it does hurt my FPS. Thanks

Hi, I used to use FSX but now am trying Prepar3d. Apparently Prepar3d still uses very old data (from FSX) and needs to be updated as bad as FSX. These are the three files I was going to use: 1. MagDec: http://www.aero.sors.fr/navaids.html - updating magdec.bgl, but also planning to use the MagVarCorrector.exe across all the default airports to update airport ILS etc that have become incorrect. I'm also considering updating custom/addon airports since they would have changed a bit too depending on when they were released. 2. Hi I noticed strange red lights in many different locations. They are very big and tall, similar to skyvrap. But consisting mainly of red light. They can be seen by far (many many km). They occur in so many orbx.different sceneries that i dont think it is due to data corruption, incompatibility or error in the installation process. What could be the reason? I have the gpu overclocked, maybe?
