Hi everyone, I have P3D V4 and have issues with elevator control. First, I'm using an ACE 737 yoke, Thrustmaster rudder pedals, and a BRCockpit 737 throttle quadrant. So what's my issue? All flight controls are fine, but pitch inputs are jerky. As an example, during takeoff rotation most if not all aircraft are overly sensitive. If I move the elevator just a mm, it will pitch up or down way more than should. If I use pitch trim, it's also very sensitive. I'll click once on the elevator trim and the aircraft will pitch up or down way too much. What have I done to try to fix these issues? Has anyone tried yet and are there any special configurations to run to get model matching working with vPilot? Is the VMR Generator tool still required?

Can y'all please pool yer solutions for stutterin' in P3DV3? Already has the pre-rendered frames set to '3' and have VSYNC set to 'ON'. Also have Triple Bufferin' on. Thanks y'all!

I have a GTX 980M laptop connected to a monitor but whenever I switch to exterior view on that monitor fps drop to 4fps, but whenever I use laptop fps is normal which is 20-60fps. So how can I fix this problem. Only occur when I use p3d on monitor.

I enable AI traffic and after awhile (normally close to the destination airport) P3D will crash with an AI dll issue. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the issue. TIA

Anyone know how to go about fixing this problem. It is happening at FSimStudios CYTZ. I have Global and LC installed but this is in P3D v4 so normally I would think its a Vector elevation problem but there is no Vector for v4 ? I also have Fly Tampa CYYZ installed and problem is not fixed when I de-activate that scenery. Only other thing that may be a problem is Pilot's Global Ultimate Mesh. I have run the flattening tool for this airport but no change.

Am I correct that all add-on airports, etc. should be placed in the Documents/Prepar3D v4 Add-Ons folder?

Do we need more than 16GB RAM and 8GB VRAM for v4? I am thinking about buying a new PC and this is important for me to know. I don`t fly Airliners,i`m a Bushflyer and WW2 Propfighters most the time----low and slow. Thank you Mike

Hi all Just wondering if anyone has tried this lens flare mod in P3DV4 yet and got it working ? I've had it running in FSXSE for some time without any problems, but I just can't get the effect to work in P3DV4 ? I don't think that it's a DX10 issue as I believe that it's compatible. Regards

Hi all, I fired up P3D this evening to find a very weird looking game. I played last evening and everything was ok. However tonight the images look ghosted/duplicated almost like a VR game. I don't have VR so that is not the issue. I have chaseplane beta and I did notice it updated earlier today, but I can't see how that would cause the problem. I have P3D v4 hotfix along with various airport and aircraft and orbx addons, but again...last evening everything was fine. …other than Carenado without the fps performance hit? I already have 2 Carenado GC planes (sr22 & da42) that I cannot fly due to the fps performance hit.

Does anyone have experience using Drzewiecki New York city along with FSDT's JFK? Thoughts on if they compliment each other? Is performance sufficient to be enjoyable?

Although I haven't seen any announcement by Carenado I found six more of my planes now ready for v4 just by checking each planes product description. In my case they are: C337 Skymaster, H850XP, B350i Kingair, CJ2, F406 Caravan II, and PA 34 Seneca V. So far I've only installed the Cj2 and the 850XP and they seem ok so far. Jim

From the changelog: "No longer instantiating radios if they are not configured for an object". I spent a considerable amount of time wondering why AI didn't behave like it used to, but after the hotfix, any AI aircraft that doesn't have a [Radios] section in its "aircraft.cfg" will no longer respond to ATC, and thus not operate correctly. As an example, any AI aircraft without radios within the "bubble" will get stuck on "Clearance" before takeoff. I don't know about other AI packages, but I do know that a considerable number of aircraft from MT6 are missing that section. After I added radios, they now again behave like they used to.

I find that the sound for AI planes is extremely quiet. I am using My Traffic Pro 6a. SOUND_LOD=0 is in my Prepar3d.cfg. I'm not sure what else I can do. I even set my environment sound settings in P3D at 100%. Does anyone else find the sound of the AI planes extremely quiet? Also is there any sound add-on that will improve the sounds?

I have noticed since doing some more GA that some Orbx listed NA Freeware airports are not valid. For example, KOPF in Florida and KIGM in Arizona. They appear to just be default airports. The PDF for this product doesn't seem to indicate that it should be null and void (e.g., others that have been included in regions and removed from the freeware product). I don't have the Vector product for FTX, just FTX Global and OpenLC (NA). I'd pose this question on their forums but don't have a lot of luck with it when I do. :-/

Thought I'd ask this as I don't remember this fully being discussed. Where is development of P3D housed, what state, address, etc (we knew where Aces was, just an idle question)? I live in Orlando where Lockheed has a few major factories. Simming in various ways is huge down here, is it here in Central Florida? Is there an end game with LH or this long term? Why would a company like Lockheed take on FS in the capacity of embracing this community for a professional level simulator? Is this just a nitch project for Lockheed where as a new CEO comes on board who could kill the series seeing no serious military contract advantage to it? Are the developers old Aces memb…
