So I'm using the latest SODE with NYX v2 KEWR. The menu shows up but it says there are no stands. I don't know what to do.

I love the NA Airport Pak. Many of the airports around me have been enhanced. BUT my airport has not been enhanced. Please consider my selfish request and enhance KABE (Allentown, Pa). Allentown area is one of the largest cities in Pennsylvania. You've done Harrisburg, KMDT, Williamsport, KIPT, and Wilkes-Barre, KAVP. But NO KABE. If you can find it in you kindness, please give me an enhanced KABE! Thank YOU. Stan ps. I am a big ORBX user, and have everything you guys put out. I hope that helps to convince you for this airport is my home airport and I fly out of it every day in my sim.

Hello, I was trying to add a few AFCADs and Sceneries for an upcoming IVAO event, but got the error : "SCENERY.CFG file error. Could not find scenery Area,140's local scenery directory F:\Addon Scenery\IVAO\AFCAD" Would you like to unload this area ? I tried choosing both yes and no, but the airports wont load in either case. Some the airports have only AFCADs, and others have some custom scenery included. Each airport has its own folder in the AFCAD folder. I have other payware scenery installed in the Addon Scenery folder which work without any problems. In the scenery.cfg file, the folder is listed with ACTIVE=FALSE and REQUIRED…

Hi Guys, I know before the big CRJ thread got closed somebody said that someone was working on a sound pack replacement for the CRJ. Does anyone know who it was and if they are still working on it?

Could some recommend a good product to add to my iFly/B737-800 Prepar3D version 4 where I can add cabin announcements / sound, not from the cock pit, but from the cabin crew. Welcome aboard, safety demo, etc. This would make the flying experience more life like. I have ferretted around to but nothing seems to be V4 compatible, hence the question,. Thank you Simon

Just purchased the TFDI B717, and going to do my first flight. does the payload manger have to be running whilst P3D is running ? The manual is outdated, and only mentions using the sim payload in the p3D menu.Asking here, for quicker responce, thanks in advance.

I have posted this on the LM forums aswell I'm having an issue flying through clouds using an oculus rift CV1. It seems as my depth perception goes out of whack while getting within 1000 feet of any cloud structure. If I turn stereoscopic mode off then everything is fine however everything else that uses depth perception is messed up. I'm finding with stereoscopic mode enabled that flying through clouds produces such an amount of eyestrain that it becomes very uncomfortable. I've taken some screenshots of both stereoscopic view and normal views in oculus rift. However I'm afraid that to actually experience the effect there has to be motion involved so the picture doe…

Has anyone managed to get the fuel cutoff valves working in the PMDG 777 with the latest version of FSUIPC in PD3 ver5, I have tried setting the button controls with codes 66494 and 66495 but to no avail, I can get the parking brake to operate using 65752 but nothing happens with the fuel cutoff codes can anybody offer some advice please I'm going crazy trying to sort this out, any help would be much appreciated. Just some minor updates, mainly resetting the draw flags so all the taxiways show up in P3D... I also fixed the movement areas and hold shorts so AI will work, and I added/fixed the ANG ramp so if you use MAIW the F16's will taxi out and hold short of 27 apch. http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=194712

I am flying the A2A Comanche a lot in P3D v4 and I was thinking about getting a hardware quadrant for throttle, mixture and prop. I was wondering if the Logitech Flight Throttle Quadrant works with v4? And does anyone know if you can switch those knobs? For the Comanche I'd like to have the mixture left. Or maybe someone knows such a hardware device which isn't 'rounded' but which has the levers sticking out... like in the actual Comanche. (If you know what I mean. Hi there, I have a quick question regarding the compatibility of the QW 787 for p3d. Because from what I've read there will only be a FSX, FSX steam edition and a p3d v4 version of this plane. But will the FSX version work with p3d v3? Because at the moment I don't have the money to upgrade to p3d v4 and also buying the QW 787. Regards, Casper

Hard to know where I am supposed to post this, but hey, here is where I do most of my reading, so here goes. Anyone buy and fly the new Sky Simulations McDonnell Douglas DC-9 for Prepar3D Version 4? I don't even know who they are, and except for the announcement on the AVSIM front page know nothing about their products. The pictures and claims sound good and make it seem like am immersive and detailed simulation product. I don't want to be the first one to try it for P3Dv4! Thoughts? Kind regards,

Okay, so this thing has actually been bothering me for a very long time but I've never attempted to do anything about it, because I've absolutely no idea how I would identify the source responsible. It's also not related to the airport, as I've heard the exact same sound at many of the airports I've landed at. Payware, freeware, think I've even heard it at default airports. Is there anyway that you can use your mouse to move the mixture or prop levers together at the same time for a multi-engine in p3dv4? I know I can grab and slide/drag each one separately but I want to move them together at the same time. Thanks

I have v4 and ever since I installed the new GTN750 for it. It will "pull" my mixture out and cause my engine to quit. It appears to be when I'm clicking the virtual buttons, seems somewhat random. Sometimes it's ok other times no. Anyone else have anything like this happen? I wonder if I would un-asign everything connected to the mixture in p3d and see if it would happen again.. Thanks.

I got my first add-on scenery for P3D and I need some guidance on how to install it. What folder does airport scenery go in? I was/am a FS9 user before P3D and there was a addon scenery folder in FS9 for airport scenery. In P3D there is no addon scenery folder. There is install instructions for the scenery, but it is written for a FSX install since the scenery work in FSX also.

APU button in the virtual cockpit will not show click-ability and unable to activate when starting from cold and dark. Ideas?

I mainly fly the A2A Comanche in Norway, using FTX Norway and Airports of Norway on top of that. It is great but a bit lonely. I was wondering if UT Live would work with this setup. It seems to me addons like these mainly work with large airports with lots of airliners and not so much with small strips and GA. Where does UT Live get its data from? I have the idea UT Live may be even worse for GA than regular traffic programs. Apart from all this: does UT Live work with default ATC and can it prevent planes from getting in your way?

Who is using this in P3D V4 and can tell me if it is worth buying?

Hi, Each time I try to start from LBPD Airport my V4 Crashes;;; without information ... just V4 is gone. But I can land without problems coming from an other airport... AsV4, ORBX Vector and Europe Landclass. ? Thanks in advance

My P3D V4 doesn't not want to load with UT2 server because it fails to load due to ' {smartassembly} is not available on this computer' error after I did a clean install of window. It had been working fine before and I already did the followings according to my online search on the problem: 1. installing the old simconnect provided in FlightOne forum 2. Install legacy all the simconnect in Prepar3D v4/redist/Interface/ The two methods above don't work for me. I am running out of idea so decide to seek help here. Am I missing others programs that I should install...maybe?

Just now, I re-install windows 10 , and reinstall p3d v4. load everything by default and everything runs smooth. on farming area, I get something like over 130~150fps. When I set to 60fps, it flew perfectly smooth even in urban areas. But, when I start to add 3rd party sceneries, which I have them on scenery library of 5 or 8 I think...the sim runs very lagging. (I think I even dare to think about installing REX ) I don't know if this is due to software problem or my system, but if I delete 3rd party scenery, and goes back to normal. For now, I think I'll only use v4 as 3rd party aircraft add ONLY, because payware aircraft doesn't seems to have th…

Hi All I moved from FSX to P3D v4 and I only fly on online on VATSIM, so have traffic slider at 0 in FSX settings. I had MTL and it worked brilliantly, never had an issue model matching. Now in P3D v4, the fuselage is black, no landing gear etc. Is there a utility to automatically convert MTL models to FSX version?. If not, my option is to get a payware traffic program?. I don't need traffic, just need the models to display online traffic. Any recommendations or workaround for MTL appreciated. Thanks
