Hi, simfriends I have installed the v4 a few mounths ago, is a great choice and it is the sim future, ok! But this morning , I desired to fly the majestic D8/400 and was ""very happy"" that I don't have uninstalled the version 3.4. Yes with uninstalling, you retrieve a lot of diskspaces but you lost too a lot of aircrafts or sceneries no compatible for v4. I understand that a lot of developpers don't want to convert or remake a upgrade version for some reasons: they are perhaps to old, or perhaps unable, or want to do other aircrafts/sceneries that making boring corrections. I have tried everything and nothing seems to work, 90% of my plane sound comes from my monitor, I have the Logitech Z906 ( which are great speakers ) but they seem to only play back ground noise......like truck passing by, other planes starting up. The most of the plane sound comes from the monitor. If I mute the monitor I don't hear things like switches.....apu, landing lights switches etc. If I play like a YouTube video everything sounds great, so which leads me to believe its something in the software. I am using a display port for the monitor.....don't know if that's important. Its Driving Me Nuts !!!

Hi-There is no button in my new Orbx account to transfer my FSS licenses. I searched the Orbx forums and submitted an unanswered (as yet) support request for this problem. I created the new orbx account per their instructions using the same email as my FSS account, but there's no button on my account page to click to start the license transfer process. Anyone run into the same problem? Any known solutions?

Hello... I am having some issues with KGLA and was looking for some help. I had Imaginesim in v3 and then when V4 came out, I used their installer to put in in V4. Everything looked good and worked. I then bought the DD New York Airports and felt that the DD version was a little better for my taste. So I used the uninstaller for Imaginesim and deleted their KLGA from my sim. I then Installed DD. All of their other airports installed correctly. However, even with uninstalling Imagine sim (and I can't seem to even find it on my PC), it still loads. I know this because of where the sim puts you in the airport when picking active runway. DD puts you on the runway and…

Ladies and Gentlemen, I have not seen any topic in this forum on this new release. That surprises me considering how many people flew their 757. Since I long left FSX for P3D and I know it has not yet been released for P3D V4, I was wondering what the people that took the leap to purchase this think. Hi guys, A thing I've noticed with V4 is lag when inputting a viewing pan (mostly through the mmb on chaseplane). The two videos below show with and without (after the city is overflown). The FPS are good but is this an indication of something in the 4.0 which can be ironed out? Or the effect of dynamic lighting? I have been using PTA in its newer version since Matt released it and URP, Envtex and ASCA with AS for P3D v4. However I was disappointed by the sky textures and clouds of Envtex and ASCA and ended up removing them altogether. Since then have been using Rex Textures Direct cloud and sky textures which I find a lot more realistic. If I understand correctly the Rex textures when installed will overwrite those previously installed by URP. Having purchased all the above packages bar URP I am wondering if there is any way to still use some of them and have a couple of questions. Will ASCA work in Dynamic mode with the REX textures installed - How can this be achieved if …

Do you still get shadows despite overcast conditions in P3Dv4 or has that finally been fixed?

hello all, i am very happy with my v4 with orbx day scenery. however, the night lighting leaves a lot to be desired. basically just a few white lights for freeways close in to the aircraft. FS9 night scenery with UT was far superior. any ideas how i can improve the night lighting in V4 with all the ORBX sceneries?

One of my favorite airport in the US, KLIT, has been updated to version 1.1 to be compatible with P3D native v3 and the latest release v4. Just got the email from simmarket.

This one seems to be flying under the radar! Any reviews yet?

Hello, I am having issues with square lakes in south florida. i use all of the ORBX products any idea what causes this? i actually had this issue a long time ago in FS9 but cant remember the cause or fix i have tried the ORBX forums but have not been able to solve

I wonder how SLI will perform in the new release. Talk about perfect timing. I have a new PC on its way. Just waiting on the courier to deliver it in a few days. I have 2 1080's in SLI, 7700k and 32gb of 2666mhz ram.

Anyone heard of an update being released to support P3dV4? Been awhile since I have seen anything new on it and with P3dV4.1 around the corner I'm thinking it's going to be delayed further? I like the product but had a bit higher support expectations when initially purchased.

Hello there, Does anybody know if its possible to change the density of the casting shadows within P3Dv4. Basically I'm trying to find the most realistic shadows for my system and would like to make them darker if possible. Many thanks for any advice or suggestions Cheers

Just installed and noticed my key for FSUIPC no longer works with FSUIPC5 meaning I'll have to buy FSUIPC again. Not a big deal considering all free updates of FSUIPC I've got so far but now I'm thinking if I really need the registered version of FSUIPC. What I've been using it for up until now include: - applying the Dynamic Friction lua script to make taxiing the NGX more realistic - mapping keyboard shortcuts to buttons on my controllers - axis assignments including reverse thrust (mapped to the "buttons" on my Saitek TQ) For the Dunamic Friction lua script I read this doens't work in P3Dv4 anymore because something changed and people instead use a h…

as the title says, my autogen and night lighting loads slowly and never expands very far from the aircraft. it is not a system issue as i have a new high end computer. any ideas?

I am having some sound issues. I have a 34 inch dell display with speakers and Logitech speakers with a subwoofer. Both speakers have sound but it seems like they all play sound at different times. What I mean is that there have been times when I get sound (flying 7337ngx) coming from both my monitor and my speakers. Other flights, it only comes out of the monitor, other times it comes out of the speakers only. Ideally I'd like everything to come out of the surround speakers and the monitor. However, when I pick the sound in the fmc to go to one speaker (surround Logitech) I lose the types of sound coming from the dell monitor. Any thoughts? I ask this because I d…

Hi, I am sitting on the fence for this bird for quite a long time, still not convinced... Due to that i have just 3 questions to those who are familiar with FSL320. 1. Will i have performance similar to PMDG747 ? ( i have old rig but set everything so that 747 is butter smooth ) 2. Should i enter flightplan manually, point by point, or is there some sort of ACARS like PMDG747 ? 3. VC - what i can judge watching YT, i am not so impressed with VC and texturing. 1st time visit to the pd forum. thinking of changing my flight sim and have been looking at p3dv4, I have a reasonable good pc, 64 bit windows 7 at present running fsx and a lot of orbx addons. fed up with ooms, I like to fly as they say low and slow, ie 172s and the like airport to airport. praticing landings etc I see there download systems have different prices mainly $59 & $199 both seem to have the same function.i would like a few comments on which way to go if possible and which price I should pay for the download. all suggestions will be of value to me , plus or minus. I suppose I am a student as I will never get to jets to old now.
