So I just noticed 4.2 was released - is there a list of what addons broke due to the latest update? Past few updates someone usually makes a list to keep track but I didn't see one this time. At quick glance it seems only the FSL320?

Hi, in the information for installing update P3DV4.2, we can read that is necessary to uninstall in the program-features for windows the P3Dv4.1 client. I seach and i see in program and applications : P3D academic client. Is it that one i must uninstall only or the P3DV4.1 completely ? I don't understand clearly what is it.

Hi. I seem to recall seeing this topic somewhere in the forums but can't seem to find it. I have just updated to P3D v4.2 (client only) and all seems ok except for regular pauses of about 1 second during operation. The sim runs smooth except for these regular pauses. Do any other users experince this? This occurs when using any aircraft. I have UT live loading when my sim starts up. That's the only addon that starts up when my sim initializes...

It seems the A2A ground steering issue that some had with the 4.1 upgrade is back with 4.2, it is at least for me. At first I tried just the client upgrade. Comanche wont steer on ground, like dragging a broken nose wheel with rudder only. Uninstalled p3d and did a full re-install with 4.2. Problem still there. I do not have EZDOK, which was responsible for some of the 4.1 issues that others had. Anyone else have it? Its only the A2A planes of mine. PMDG 737 is fine. ~Fess

Hi guys, Just stumbled on this new online VA called Simbuddy (https://www.simbuddy.com/virtual-airline.php) looks very legit and cool. Has anyone used it? How is your experience? What other online VA or applications do you recommends? I've been using AH2 for sometime, but it is really not meant for airliner and is too buggy to use, at least for now.

Hello. Due to v4.2 update ordeal I am trying repair the sim to see if it will come to a life. Based on tutorial I will have to run Repair option and wait till it complete. During repairing System32 screen pops up. I am kind of confused what is it and what am I supposed to do next? This screen should not appear based on Repair tutorial. Thx

Can someone help me with middle mouse? I pressed something on last flight and I lost my middle button. Now when I try to set up camera doesn't show zoom. Wasted two hrs....MM is dead. Anyone has idea what I've done? Thanks

Is there a trick to the actual install for sky force? I am running Rex file manager and did the install. Everything shows 100% but at the top it’s still telling me it is downloading. I’m not sure if I should close it out or if it just takes a lot longer. Any ideas? It’s been a while since downloading Rex products so I don’t recall if there are any server issues or issues on their end.

Since installing P3D v4.2 (fresh install), the graphics defaults to my 1920X1080X32 monitor and even if I try to select my 4K (Nvidia Geforce 1070.1 inside the options) it just reselects the other. And, of course, I cannot save the 1070.1 either. I tried deleting the 1070.0 from Prepar3d.cfg but it returns on the next restart. Could have sworn I had this correctly in 4.1 but now am starting to doubt myself. Any ideas?

I just upgraded to P3Dv4 coming from P3Dv3.2 and figured I would give this PTA a go after reading lots of good things about it and how it transforms your simulator into something looking more real than ever. So far I've only tried the preset called MattDavies_v1.1 that comes with PTA and pta2-preset-thopat-2_1 which I downloaded. Of these two I prefer the MattDavies one I think but might play around a bit more with the thopat one as well. Also noticed looking at the description of pta2-preset-thopat-2_1 that you're supposed to adjust both the HDR as well as many other settings which I didn't do at this time so maybe that will make things a lot better. I did clean install windows and download latest nvidia drivers and fresh copy of v4.2 . but the only thing I see is a black screen for 30 seconds then it runs perfectly normal.

Yesterday, I began experiencing KernalBase.dll and api.dll crashes with P3Dv4.1. I am proceeding with the elimination process as detailed in the AVSIM P3D Guide and have not upgraded to 4.2 and don't plan to anytime soon. I just want to confirm these recent crashes are not connected with the 4.2 (since I haven't upgraded anything) and more likely the result of the recent Windows 10 update. I suspect the latter and tried to use System Restore but that didn't work. Any additional info will be much appreciated.
