Hi all- I'm gettin' some odd behavior that I thought might have been aircraft related but unfortunately it is not. Start P3D > leave default jet selected > Select airport/runway > Select OK > Return to start page > flips back to airport change screen blank > need to enter airport runway data again P3D does this ~50% of the time. Anyone else seen this? Any ideas for a fix? Thanks, Mark

I was hoping to find an answer to my question regarding UTLive in P3Dv4.1., unfortunately the UTLive forum is not sending me an activation email. Anyway, the question is simple. Do i need to launch UTLive desktop application on the desktop and connect to live traffic in order to enjoy live traffic and liveries in P3D or does UTLive start automatically in the background once I launch P3D? thank you

Hi! I discovered today that the UK is missing dynamic vegetation when I flew from Innsbruck to London: https://imgur.com/a/XcUME9w But the dynamic vegetation works okay in Innsbruck: https://imgur.com/a/1yrWTIM Is there a way to fix this issue? And one more thing: - Why is the autogen green when there should be winter textured autogen? I have TreesX to get HD trees in Prepar3D. Thanks in advance! Viggo

As per topic description, having hard time choosing between three different sceneries - LatinVFR, JustSim, Aerosoft/SimWings (which is on sale right now BTW, hence the topic). Went through previous topics, but could not receive a definitive answer, maybe this time around there will be more luck 🙂 And now, the most important thing: EDIT: added poll for convenience.

So i've done the v4.4 client update, and it's my understanding that if I do the content update I will lose the default Beech Bonanza, Texan, King Air, and Baron. I don't care about the Texan or Bonanza, but I would like to retain the King Air and Baron. It's a simple enough matter to copy the King Air and Baron folders to a temporary location and then schlep them back in to the sim objects/airplanes folder after the content update, but what about the gauges...?? Anything else I need to do...?? Thanks in advance for any advice on this. 🙂

It says that for p3dv4 i need to activate it manually, and that there is a manual.pdf but the pdf doesnt work, it wont open, so how do i manually add scenery? (no longer needed figured it out myself)

I notice that I do NOT have and ADDON Scenery "SCENERY" folder. I remember one when I used FSX, but I'm not sure I'm supposed to have one in P3d 4.4. Tell me, do you have a "scenery" folder under ADDON Scenery in P3d? If so, How do I re-establish one in my P3d folder? All my scenery seems to work, but I suspect I'm missing something....like some important bgl's. Thanks, Stan

I have WideScreen option set to on. Gauges are out-of-round. Not sure if related to EZCA but happening in all planes. Zoom level does not help. Thanks bs

Good morning all, I'm seeking opinions from those who know a lot more than I do about P3Dv4 performance and what a good upgrade might look like on my current system to improve FPS and general smoothness. I'm "fairly" content for the money I've spent but I'd like to see a bit less stuttering to be able to open up the throttle on P3d visual settings a bit more. The new Avatar is a great new feature for a walk around but he can do some amazing things. He can fall from 30,000 feet and get right back up on his feet! He can also walk right into a running propeller with out incident. :Whew:

Hi All, I am experiencing a fairly large number of square daylight textures when flying at night on P3DV4.3. I have come across a few topics where others are having the same or similar issues, but their issues seem to be arising from Orbx scenery conflicts. However I haven't got any Orbx products installed. I have only ever touched Orbx to install the free Iceland demo, but have since un-installed this product. I made a a series of missteps installing P3Dv4.4 (mostly pilot error) but have gotten most everything sorted out. However, when I start up everything seems to go normally. However, I don't have any of the new v4 content. I lost a few add on aircraft and the Beechcraft, which I expected, but I don't have the new aircraft. I tried a repair, but the problem remains. HI, I recently purchased PMGD737 NGX for my P3D and the add on ground service is not working properly the only option that give me is deboarding but if I change the plane for airbus it works fine! Any idea...… Thanks ! David

Hey all, I had always greatly enjoyed flying around central America, owing to the beautiful landscape and the fact that many of the airports are within 1-1.5 hours flying from each other. Given that I'm not particularly patient, nor do I have a lot of time, shorter flights are very attractive to me. However, LatinVFR didn't update any of those airports for P3Dv4, which is what I'm using now. Now, over the past few weeks, I have installed many older FSX and P3Dv1-3 sceneries. I know this is not the best thing to do due to performance concerns. For the most part, though, I found that, sicne many of these airports are not in congested areas, performance is not an issue …

In addition to the MANY other new features in the P3D SDK/PDK, LM introduced new Sound Services which are considerably more powerful that the FSX way of doing sound often resulting in developers going outside the SDK to work their own sounds. This is a new feature for V4.4: and As you can see, some very powerful options that can work in the entire virtual globe, airport, or aircraft with Position, Offset, and even cockpit attenuation with full 3D sound support. Hello - I am posting this with the hope that "Poppet", the Prepar3D expert of this forum takes a look and provides advice. I recently reported this issue in this thread of this forum: I am almost sure (and have confirmed with another simmer who has the same issue) that in P3dv4.x (for sure in 4.4) the "view(pan)" control setting does not work as it should. What happens is that Instead of taking the "hat" button of the joy stick (or yoke) as an "omni-directional" control, it takes it as a single-direction control as applied at the moment of last setting. Hi All, Long time simmer and lurker, first time poster here! I upgraded to P3D V4 a couple of months ago and have been updating my scenery and hanger with each paycheck and have now got to a point where i'm looking for my next aircraft that i haven't got and i'm looking for something not Airbus or Boeing. I am a study level flyer (finally got proper fsuipc recently to get down to the knitty gritty of multi-engine control!) and fly both Aerosoft A3XX professional and PMDG 737 and 747. I have seen the MD-82 and the 717 and was wondering which one to go for? I mostly fly in Europe so both would now be quite niche but i quite like that idea eg DAT flying MD-82 …

Hi-I've run P3Dv4.0 for several months without incident. I use the stock ATC with Edit Voice Pack and Ultimate Traffic Live. In the last several days an "echo" has developed in ATC for both VFR and IFR flights. Every phrase of ATC control, my pilot voice and those of the AI planes, is repeated--both in voice and in print in the ATC window. It sounds like an echo. I've not yet installed the 4.1 client. Any ideas for a fix would be really appreciated before updating. Thanks, Jay
