Hi guys, I am experiencing a very weird issue in multiple sceneries with my P3D V4.4 installation right now: I am happy with my overall performance, however my FPS drops by about 30-40% repeatedly when crossing a "magic line" in the scenery. When I go back over this line, my frames go back to normal. This happens no matter whether an airport scenery is installed or not. I have recorded a few videos to demonstrate my problem. Do you have any ideas, what could cause this?

Hi I have been looking around for GTN750 to install in A2A 182 and Comanche, looking at the a2a configurator I can see that under GPS option there is only panel support for the flight 1 gtn 750 and not Reality XP, just found out that there is sale on there RXP website which makes it interesting compare to flight 1 pricing, is there any way to have the rxp panel installed in to a2a 182 and Comanche? also how do you update the navdata on rxp models. Hi all Each time I delete the shader folder and Prepar3D.cfg they are added again by p3d (all good) but what about the user saved profiles in my documents folder? I have a profile for day flying and one for night. Should these be deleted at same time and then saved again? I did search but wanted to be clear on this. Thanks, Allan

Anyone? I just confirmed my 4xx driver installed recently is still there, but a strange screen tearing shows up whenever I pan or change the view position. The P3D internal VSync doesn't make a difference.

I just ran the updater and it installed a new one! I don't see release notes in it, but theres a modules\P3D44 folder with the MV_WXM.dll in it...

I have a 60hz monitor and get 40-45 fps in a scenario but with micro stutters. If I lock the internal fps limiter to 30 I get a very smooth sim. So I decided to only enable vsync which should lock the frame rate to 60, 30 or 20 as performance allows, but it didn't happen so and fps still linger in the 40s. The fps usually locks to the multiples in games when used without enabling triple buffering, so why it is not in p3d?

Totally self inflicted this one ! I was playing around trying to get SODE GSXV2 working with my ORBX KSAN scenery and I've stuffed it. What's the best way to "reinstall" KSAN ? Is there a config setting that I can adjust so that FTX Central knows it is purchase but not there and it will reinstall it ? Cheers, R

Good evening. I have just booted up my sim for some evening rotations and I discovered this when I loaded it (see attached images). A few seconds after this, the sim crashes to desktop. I have had it running perfectly fine the previous day and have made no changes including scenery, aircraft, settings. I have tried to load at various different airports, some default scenery, some not. I have also tried different times of day and different weather. In one of the screenshots you are able to see a wierd patch looking objects in the sky. Not sure what this is about. Various textures are obviously missing from the airport and aircraft. Dear: I am thinking to get either Carenado Fokker 50 or SAAB 340 for p3d v4. I am fond of realistic airplane systems. I use PMDG Jetstream 41(in fsx), Majestic Dash 8 pro, flight1 King Air B200 G1000 and aerosoft Twin Otter extended. Now, between Carenado Fokker 50 and SAAB 340, which one is better? I've been a long-time FSX user and have only just recently (in the last few weeks) switched to P3D v4.4 and am loving it. I do a lot of flying - I have over 10,000 hours logged with my current VA, and have now decided to take on a challenge of flying to every airport that exists within the sim. I've tried searching the internet to find if anyone else has ever done this but haven't had any success. Am thinking that this might take me a good 7 years to complete, or more.... I would welcome any tips that someone may have as to how I should approach this task. So I just took the plunge and upgraded my 1080 to a 2080 Ti. Every game I have frame rates have gone up by an insane amount. P3D, I was averaging 30fps on 31L @ jfk with fair weather and 100% UT Live traffic. I popped in the 2080ti, fired up the same scenario, and my frame rates are now 18-20. I deleted shaders but no change. Any idea why I had such a severe decrease?

Hi guys, I noticed that I have 2 CN towers, as well as double some downtown buildings as well. This is in P3D V4, with UTX Canada, ORBX OpenLC NA, and FT CYYZ. I'm not sure what could be causing this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

What is the general consensus regarding HT usage for P3D? I have been using it ON with my 6700k and modest 4.6 OC, but now I'm planning to reach 5.0 OC with 9900k. However, there is a vast majority of comments that stable 5.0 OC on 9900k is reachable with HT off only. Hence, I'm wondering whether P3D does benefit from HT. If it does, then perhaps I should curb my enthusiasm and stick with 4.8. Thanks Dmitriy

Hi guys, I have a couple of problems: I always get [GSX] Waitng for your action: open Exit 2 message in the PMDG 747-800.. Never customized anything regarding the plane, scenery(except for added sode jetways) or GSX. I always get triple baggage trolleys, unloaders and staircase to exit 2 despite having a jetway connected to it.. With the, in this case aerosoft heathrow professional, you get lots gates with multiple jetways, even triple as seen by the picture underneath. Problem is, whenever I choose operate jetway in GSX menu; The second and the third ones moves.(I believe triple only works on a380). After that, I choose the option to unload bag…

Hello, Im pretty noobish in this case so that's why my thread. I just installed my new pc and I am wondering what would be the best place to install P3D. My system has 2 SSD drives wich are the following: - Samsung 970 evo (500gb) m.2 wich contains Windows. - Samsung 850 evo (500gb) for extra stuff. The benefit of the 970 is that this one is a faster drive. The benefit of the 850 would be separate installation of P3D. What drive would you guys chose to install P3D?

Hi, i can´t believe i dont find it with google, but: I replaced my 4 GB GTX 980 with an 8 GB 1070 Ti. Question: How do i teach P3D that there is a new GPU with doubled RAM? Even at EDDF P3D wont use more than the 4 GB limit of the old GPU. All settings maxed out, with a 3840x2160 resolution, with ORBX Global, LC Europe and vector and REX HD Airports in a PMDG 737. Dedicated Vram used at 3.5-3.6 GB at rural environment, 3.9/4.0 at EDDF / Frankfurt City. Other users experience 6/7/8 GB at EDDF For violating P3D i included the "TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP=10" in the .cfg. Result: 5.7 GB dedicated VRAM used (Ups, more than 4?) , but also 3 GB shared video memory. …

I'm new to Prepar3d and wondering if I can buy a developer subscription to legally try it out before deciding whether to buy a professional license. Does it give you a full functional version?

Seems like everything at KFCA in the Northern Rocky FTX puts the aircraft undergound, by about 15 feet. All I can see is the top of the tail in fixed wing or top of rotor head in Copter. If I launch on the runway, everything is OK. This also applies to KGPI which is the new code for this airport. I am using P3D version 3.4 and have a;; the NA Orbx FTX regions and this is the first time I have had a problem. Wondering if anyone else has seen this issue.

Unfortunately not exactly an Apples to Apples compare. I did do some basic informal testing with 9900K and P3D V4.3 and wasn't really impressed with it's performance. But, an OS wipe and fresh install Win10 1803 and P3D V4.4 along with new nVidia drivers v417.01 and the experience seems to be considerably improved ... Hi, I wanted to ask you for advice on which GPS to buy for the A2A C172 product. I have seen that there are two manufacturers selling GPS, Flight1 and Reality XP. For both the GNS 530/430 and GNT 750/650 models are available. Which do you recommend to buy between Flight1 and Reality XP for P3D4 4.4? Thank you.

Yesterday REX released the "Technical Update 6" for their Wx Radar which is now ready for use with P3D v4.4. The update is a complete new install of the software, you need to uninstall older versions first before you run the installer. Ups, just found a topic about this item - sorry. Can be deleted.
