I have to say this plane is fantastic but my GPU Vram is spiking in default location with base textures to almost 4GB. I do not have global+vector+openlc installed - just Orbx SoCal for testing purposes - but VRAM is pretty much maxed out. I have tried No Mimap VC and Mimap VC (with the texture change via the app). Just not understanding why the VRAM is spiked up fully in default P3D flight location. Heck even my lod and draw settings are dialed down quite a bit for VR settings. I need some free VRAM even the GPU Usage is spiking almost to 100% (I can hear the fans out loud) as this plane is amazing in VR. Using 980 GTX here @Sean Moloney? any i…

Strange PRDv4.1 starts up automatically when windows 10 boots up, i have never seen this, i need advice please.

I really have hoped that this issue is history, but it seems to be back, at least in ORBX land (KFHR). Is it really caused only by ORBX? I know there were some solutions around here. But how can it be that such an old issue is still not being resolved.

Hi, This has been a long issue of mine where in everytime i tap my brakes on my CH rudder pedals, the parking brake disengages. It also happens when i press the PTT button on my saitek joystick if im online on vatsim. Tried editing the controls on the menu and it still does it. I hope you guys can help me! Thanks, Francis

Hi Guys, Need advice with windows 10 and P3D. Due to some issues with one particular add-on I need to reinstall WIN 10 (apparently due to W 10 corrupted files). I have contacted support and they tried to help me, however it boils down to this. I have about 180 GB of SIM "stuff", so I am really scared doing this. PC is used exclusively for Siming and nothing else and it is configured that way. Needles to say that I never had to do this nor I am "very" knowledgeable, but I can do "stuff", not beginner either. So far everything works and it still does perfectly until now (I can't delete or update one very important add-on, even after I deleted registries). So doing fres…

Hi Guys, I have upgraded Prepar3d to v4.4 Client and content only. I read somewhere that updating the content would remove all Beechcraft aircraft from the menu and add others. I have all my Beechcraft still and no new additions...Have I done something wrong? Dave

Hi Everyone Just a quick heads up that there is a "new" V2 of PFPX. I wanted to warn anyone out there even remotely considering updating to think again. I have no idea who beta tested it but they should be given the don't come Monday after the abomination they have released. Quite frankly it doesn't work and is a pile of junk. It is quite literally full of bugs and is totally unusable. If you do decide to update don't say you were not warned. I will go to Simbrief full time from now on. Its a shame as it was a good programme once.

Is any developer planning an Airbus A350 for P3D v4.x ..?? I know there's one out for X Plane, but I haven't seen anything for P3D or FSX

When DL first came out, I didn’t really bother with the new technology. Partly because I was still rocking a GTX 960 which wouldn’t have been able to run the graphic intensive light setting anyways. But I did sit back and look at various feedback from users who did partake in DL. The reviews were all over the place. Some say their sim literally went to a crawl whenever DL was on, and some said it was the best thing that ever happened. But that was a little over two years ago. Hi, Even though Majestic software has its own support forum (I am not registered there), I am writing here in hope that someone can help me. Ever since I have been using Majestic Dash q400 in Prepar3D v3, I have been seeing occasional autogen flickering and bleeding through stratus clouds when looking from the passenger window. Here is a screenshot to show you what I am talking about: Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a possible solution? Fired up P3d 4.3 today. Noticed my trim was runway into nose down position (mapped to up arrow/num pad 8). As soon as I'm in a flight in P3d my entire system is highjacked by what behaves like a stuck key. All windows constantly scroll to the top, and the menus in any application scroll wildly as if I'm holding down either the up arrow or the 8 key. Through a dozen tests I've confirmed that this only occurs once P3d launches a flight. Killing the program eliminates the problem. It manifests itself in ANY aircraft. Why? Despite sold overcast and raining with external view my aircraft looks like it is bathed in full sunlight.

Big Picture theoretical question: How can P3D v4.3 frames be low when CPU and/or GPU are not running at 100% ? Where should I look for the bottleneck? Background: The LAX area is brutal on my FPS (avg 18 in cockpit of 737BGX, 28 on exterior views). The problem is when my FPS are low such as on final to LAX 25R, my CPU is only 60% loaded and my GPU is less than 50% loaded. I have checked disk activity including the 2TB hard drive where most of my scenery lives and disk accessing does not seem to be the issue. Haven't played P3D in a good while and am still on 4.2. I see there's 4.4 out now. Is it worth upgrading just the client? Main concern is breaking addons. I assume traditional scenery will be fine but will 4.4 break the following addons or will any of these addons need updates? I have a UHD 4k panel and using 4096 x 2160 an have WideScreen turned on in P3d. Problem is my screen is squished and the gauges are not round (taller). I tried reset camera under views and no go. When I zoom out the gauges get skinnier. How can I turn that off? Cheers

Hello I'm playing fsx steam edition right now and realy want to switch to P3D but my parents are divorced so I have two different computers. My parents live in different countries so I can not just bring the computer wiht me. But can I buy a key and use it for both computers or do I have to buy two keys Im just 16 and i dont have alote of money so thats why i bring up this. Thanks for the help!

Are there any contrail addons (freeware maybe?) for p3dv4? even if the default ones look better then x-plane i still want to know if there are any addons that replace the default contrails in p3dv4?

Is there a way to disable the default terrain night lighting? I only use photoscenery, but the default lighting still "bleeds through" in places, and it looks rubbish.

When I initially load in, the throttle is at idle, but when I advance it then pull back to idle, the throttle remains stuck about haflway in the NGX (and default Piper Cub). I assign the throttle axis in P3D, but it will not retract to idle unless I hit the "f2" key. I am stumped and wondered if anyone has suggestions on a remedy. …

As mentioned on FSELITE This plane looks stunning and promises a lot in terms of the Avionics. Based on the quality of my previous purchases from RealAir (and hoping that Sean continues the excellent work) this will be a Day1 purchase for me.

Hi guys, Recently I got to test the Sky Force 3D and I noticed when the weather changes overtime, it changes instantly very abruptly. Does disabling Real-Time Sync Mode fix this? If so, how will the weather continue? The same weather till the flight is done?
