Does anyone know if the Aerosoft Airbus Professional A18, A319, A320 and A321 are now compatible with LM Prepar3DV4.4? I have searched for an answer on the web, but with no luck. Maybe I am looking in the wrong places.

somewhat an odd post compared to the overwhelming praise for 4.4. However i'm getting FPS as low as below 20 (locked or unlimited) sitting on the runway at stock KSEA with UTLive (30%) & Orbx Pacific Northwest in PMDG737. With identical addons and settings in 4.3 I get solid 30, locked at 30. In playing with settings to troubleshoot, I noticed that my FPS is greatly affected by scenery settings. I've been playing around with the thought of getting a fun business jet after spending all my time in the NGX simulating real world OPS for many years and was just about to ask what good options there are for business jets now in mid 2017. I know real good business jets have been hard to find for many years compared to most other types of aircraft. I find this strange why developers don't invest more resources into this area considering the huge amount of people who has showed interest for as long as I can remember myself included. I currently have 2 monitors, a 1920*1080 and a 1280*800, I use the 2nd monitor for GPS, ATC etc. Last night I accidentally got the VC across both screens, and it was a surprisingly good solution, with the much wider view giving much more immersion and frame rate acceptable. But different size monitors are very clunky and the old monitor is fading, so I need another 1920*1080 - unfortunately my main monitor is no longer sold. Lots of searching the internet (mostly referring to FSX) suggests that a 2 monitor VC is not possible without special HW (eg Matrox TH2GO) which I don't have, just a GTX670. Is that advice outdated? I get the message "UTL client stopped working" every time I start P3D after 4.4 update. I have ultimate traffic Live 1.1.0.0. I have never updated it. Any solution? Thank you

I have 4.4 running on a 2080TI with the latest drivers, running Windows 10. The OS is set to HDR (PQ) mode and I am connected to a HDR compatible TV via HDMI. I am set to RGB / Full and all other games work great in HDR. Forza 4 is amazing btw! But Prepar3D can only run HDR when windowed, bloom is there, colors look correct, not too dark, banded or washed out etc. If I switch to fullscreen the TV flashes a message that HDR (PQ) is off and colors look dark (not right). Interestingly bringing up and focussing the ATC window (still in fullscreen) switches HDR back on and the image is corrected for a second. ALT-Tabbing back to windowed also fixes it. In s…

Fellow AVsimmers. As you may know, we haven't seen a real widebody airbus (340 more particularly) creation for the ESP world, and more specifically V4. We also know that it takes a lot of time, money and effort to build a proper simulation of the real thing. With AS working on their a330 since now more than 4 years (not complaining) the other team has an updated product that from many of the comments that i've readen are not so positive. i've got all the folderd deleted, im trying to uninstall it with the controll panel but it says 'an account for this has already been created' roughly translated, can you guys please help me because i cant install another copy of it, then it says that another copy has been installed

HI I'm considering installing P3D. At the moment I use FSX and have a large amount of photo'scenery and addons. Is there any way of transferring any of these to P3D or do I have to start afresh and purchase all these again for P3D? Ray

I upgraded just the client following the silent movie era video pinned at the top of the forum. I have read elsewhere some other people are deleting their shaders folders and config file after doing so. I do remember doing so for previous updates per the instructions provided by Poppet. No mention of it on the video. Should I have done so? , and... if so, should I uninstall 4.4 first, reinstall 4.4 and delete immediately delete these files and let them be rebuilt or is it OK to do it now after a few flights in 4.4? Hello, I'm looking on using the G1000 of the Carenado Cessna on my G1000 Screen. The matter is that the G1000 Screens are connected at a second computer linked on Network with the first computer (the one used for P3D Simulator. I have P3D licence on the 2 computer but I don't know how to make them work together on Network... Do you have any idea ? Thank you Ludovic

Hi all, Posted this on ORBX forum and I think it would be valuable for others here at AVSIM: I am speachless ! Upgraded from P3Dv4.3 to 4.4 (Client & Content only) and I can say my ORBX scenery never looked so good. Thanks god ! Photo Scenery Textures are now sharps and crisps around the aircraft but also in the distance and don't loads while flying over them like it was in the past. See by yourself (PAVD)! I am now a very happy flyer ! Mike

Hello all Just want to check with people before I go installing things in my nicely functioning P3D v4.4. I have a number of Golden Age aircraft which I really love. The most recent one was the Brunner-Winkle Bird which specified it is ok for P3D v4 and obviously works fine. However, I have a couple of earlier GAS planes which don't specify if they are P3D 4 compatible - in fact I think the ones I have only specify FSX compatibility. So, please can anyone tell me if I can just go ahead and install the following aircraft into P3D 4.4: Douglas Dolphin Stinson JR I'm just not sure if the 64 bit environment would be a problem or if they will…

By only installing the client, what would I miss out on by not doing content and scenery? I wasn't sure if any of that PBR stuff or any of the "cool" new features are in content or scenery. I am always hesitant when doing these installs because I am afraid that I will lose addons by doing the content or scenery. However, if there is a must have within those files, than I'd want to know. When i set the autogen building density slider completely to the left, to use photo real scenery,some installed airport scenery buildings including orbx default airport scenery buildings textures does not load. When it is moved back to normal textures are back. The sparse setting has the exact problem. Never had this in v4.3 Complete fresh install of v4.4, anyone with the same problem? Any ideas, might be a bug!!!

Hello everyone. I ran into an issue tonight when trying to install 4.4. I followed the instructions below and ran the client install. When starting the sim it loaded as normal and then I got a message saying "initcontactpoints()unsupportedprepar3dversion" . I did a quick google search to see if this is known and at first glance looked like it would be a FSlabs related error. At this point I was still waiting on the 4.4 Fslabs update to finish its download but wanted to at least see the differences of 4.4. So I made a huge discovery that most of my repaints for ai planes don't show up in P3D V4 because they are made with bmp textures instead of DDS. I have no idea what that means really but in reading the forums people have talked about DXTbmp. They mention that this is the best program to use to convert. I downloaded the program but I see it's mostly for repainting planes and that is not what I want to do. I have not been able to find a complete manual for the program so I came here. I would just like to convert the textures so my repaints show up on the ai planes. The repainters have already done the work so I don't want to tinker with those. Has anyone used this program …

Seems when i install the textures it only works at one or two airports and the rest of the default airports are just plain default textures anyone willing to help me fix it?

I’ve just installed P3DV4.3 plus TE Netherlands Orbx. I’ve tried all different graphics settings (FSX user for 10 years) to try to alleviate the dreaded blurries, that are far worse than I ever suffered with FSX, incredibly. The most unusual aspect is that the blurries are evident from the very beginning which is a first for me. Running an i7 @ 4.5ghz 16 RAM and 1080ti. No matter how I adjust the sliders it makes no difference. Is this a common problem? Any advice received with thanks.

Spent a few frustrating hours last night trying to solve a problem where all of the SODE jetways in a new install of ImagineSim's KLGA/New York LaGuardia were missing. As part of a complete system rebuild, I downloaded a fresh installer using their Operations Center, configured it for SODE jetways, and there was nothing but a bunch of black holes in the terminals where the jetways should attach. Turns out the xml placement file ImagineSim included in the scenery was borked...all the jetways were set with a base altitude of 0.0m, so they were there, but buried underground. Contact: The new HMD- Toggle Menu function does not work, I posted the issue on th LM forum and they acknowledge it will not work. The new option to view the vertically displayed menu options in VR which is the same as the horizontal menu at the top of the window when using monitor mode is not that useful anyway. Very few of the options are even functioning yet and the process to display it and turn it off without the toggle function assignment is very cumbersome. But as I said even if the toggle function worked it is currently of little value. If a hot fix is ever released they probably would include this fix but that may be a…
