So i have been tinkering around with zoom in the cockpit. And have not really found a good angle to settle on. Ideally i would LOVE to use the wideview option, but using chaseplane cancels that out for its own inbuilt option. So what do you guys use? I use a Acer X32 monitior at 2560x1440.

I have a 2year old P3Dv4.5 setup which has all the bells and whistles-Orbyx,Active Sky,EnvForce and SkyForce Plus many planes Some kinks started to appear a year or two ago 1) I could not fly A2A planes in the south of South America or around Innsbruck area -OK everywhere else 2) My P3D 4.5 will not accept the P3D 4.5 Hot fix in spite of being up dated regularly from P3Dv 3 3) I notice now that the Eastern seaboard of the US has become a no go area -Nantucket,Plum Island etc Is this a feature of a long standing computer programme that gets constant Addons? Hi, I need some advise please according the update of P3D4.5. I already updated to 4.5 and HF1 and all ok. My question is, if I update Content and scenery should I need to update any pay-ware sceneries or update any of P3D cfg and shader? BTW I already updated AS4, Ezdok, and some other after I updated Client. Please Advise Geo

Hello guys I recently noticed that my D drive is full. Looking into it I noticed that all zip files of the downloaded software is yet there. Even from Prepar3d which is a large file and the one from Seattle scenery. Should I remove all zip files or are they there for a reason?

Is there any good photo scenery of Canada? I have the US and Europe covered but have never seen anything beyond small sections of Canada, usually for some kind of airport or city scenery. Looking for the whole country or as much as possible, especially the areas on the US border to avoid that jarring transition.

Hello dear all For the past 6 months, I have been dealing with several awkward issues in P3D V4.3. It would be nice if someone please could help me as these issues are really working on my nerve. Please note that most of these issues happen often yet not all the time. Sometimes the FS is working good. I turned it off without any changes, downloads whatsoever. The next time I have issues. That is why I have no idea what is causing this. 1- Most of my ORBX scenery has a double layer. Good morning, New to the P3D. I'm reading up on installing new folders into the Simobjects folder. I'm not sure if what I am reading is outdated, but I can't find the simobjects.cfg file. I'm guessing this is similar to the FSX.cfg file. Anyway, I'm looking under the root folder, but cannot find it. Yes, I have checked that I have show hidden files selected. Si I recently reformatted, and now im noticing when panning around the cockpit I have this full screen flicking going on. If I'm not panning around I seem to be ok. Gets especially bad I'm trying to interact with the MCDU, seemingly related to tooltip text popping up. Right now I've only tried it in the FSL A320 as thats all I have installed at the moment. Occasionally I notice the weird shaded line across the cockpit as well which I've only noticed in FI's VR prior to formatting. I am running the latest tomato shade v30 with the RD 1.8 preset if that helps.

FSUIPC 5.151 P3D v4.4.16.27077 Win10 64bit Warthog HOTAS Saitek Pro Combat pedals When I launch p3d, and load into a plane (ex. Commander 114), the throttles, props, etc levers work as expected. If I go into fsuipc5 to set a button, then upon exit of fsuipc and returning to the sim, the rudder pedals set to full-right, the throttle goes to 100%, and then no longer responds to the HOTAS input. The rudder pedals require me to fully cycle the Saitek Pro Combat pedals to get the sim to recognize they should be centered, but the throttle will not recover to operation, despite what I do; I have to restart the sim to gain control of the throttle in sim…

Hello forum! I tried using the AeroSors free P3D default nav. data installer to update the G1000 nav. dada (as multiple waypoints/approaches were not available). But after installing both the Worldwide and ILS/NDB updates, the missing data was still missing. I am pretty sure I used the installers properly, I got messages saying 'x' amount of files were updated. Is there a way to confirm that the P3D default nav data was updated properly, and how do I make Vertex's G1000 use that updated nav. data? Thank you!

Hi I would like to have an automatic ATC to p3dv4.4 (or 4.5) and FSX SE, at the same time. 1.- I would like Pro ATC but it needs an permanent internet connection during its operation and I do not like this. 2.- RadarContact is free and I can use it in P3D, but I cannot still install. (A little bit free time please 😞 ) 3.- My third option: Is PF3 compatible with P3Dv4.4 or P3Dv4.5??? Any opinion??? Can I use a single PF3 license to use it on P3Dv4 and FSX SE at the same time? Hello, I just now installed Tomatoshade, I turned off Dynamic Reflections and it makes my fps go from 20-30 to max of 15. I know it has very bad performance on some PC's and others not. Any way to fix this?

I have a couple questions I was hoping someone could help me out with on how the bgl traffic works in the sim. 1. I have all my models and bgl files loaded in the sim with AI Manager. Traffic pops up at the gate and planes start pulling away and heading for take off. Looks great. But does it automatically add any flights in the air? I don’t think I have seen any come in for landing. 2. Does traffic change over time? Like if I take off from SFO and quickly divert to OAK. Will any traffic generate there? Or does the sim look for a flight plan and load traffic based on that? Same type of question for my destination. Will it know to have traffic at the gates of my d…

Early on it was suggested that all add-on’s be placed in the Add On Manager directory within Program Files (x86)\. Now I’m seeing even modern installers attempting to place the add-ons within P3Dv4 itself. I believe FlightBeam is an example. Should we still abide by the Add On Manager rule, or is there a reason not to install within P3D other than the problem with reinstalls of the sim itself?

Dont have Ortho but have lots of ORBX terrain and other addon airports and PMDG aircraft Im using. I have a PC built around an Intel i7 7700K, not overclocking currently, have a GTX 1080 TI Rog Strix with 11 gig of ram, 128 gig of onboard ram. My display settings are on the medium side. P3D 4.2 Add ons, like EZCam, GTX, the REX 3d Clouds and Active Sky. Im not using full screen res. I think its like 2560x1440 . Texture - Ultra, Texture Filtering NONE, FXAA 2X, AA: 4X. Vsync ON, To me it seems like these settings are standard from what I've been reading and seeing on here and on some videos. But I still am having these issues. Really bumming me out. Hey, i've just started the a from KSEZ to PAHO zig-zaging nearly all of my ORBX NA airports. SInce this cannot be done with one fuel tank only (i'm flying the Aero commander Shrike 500s) i've stopped at KPSP to test the refueling procedure (SHIFT F) only to find out, it does not "offer" truck refueling (no fuel trucks are available at this airport). Which is kind of strange since i parked right next to two fuel trucks (tried on a regular parking spot with no success). So my question is whether truck refueling is available in default P3d install or do i have to buy some 3rd party add-ons (GSX)? Thanks for your help.

The other day I lost my ssd. "No problem", I said. I have all my sims on a separate drive, and all the data files on another separate drive. So I cloned a new SSD from an older backup hard drive and, after a few tweaks to the boot file, my new ssd was up and running. I loaded P3d and checked my payware programs and aircrafts to see if any needed re-validation. Sure enough, most of them required that I log on to my various accounts on their site and go through the recommended reactivation or re-downloading procedures. I was happy. Hi everyone, quick question, I've been using Tongass Fjords in my P3D2.4 set up for a number of years and it works fine, but I did just notice the other day flying into PAPG that the fuel truck is all black and has no texture assigned to it. So am trying to figure out if I'm just some how missing the texture and where would it be located/name? I don't see any fuel truck suggestive textures being called up in the texture.cfg file? I do have two files called fueltruck.dds, fueltruck_s.dds in the Higher Priority Texture folder? Any thoughts on this matter would be very much appreciated. Thank you! Martin

Hi All, My goals is to have the charts for my ProATCX generated flightplan (including departures/Approaches) show up on an android tablet with the moving map. Pretty sure all of this is possible, but now sure how to set it up. I know it has integration with Simbrief - do I need to include that in the process or can charts read the flightplan generated from Proatcx. So far, charts is installed on desktop and on the tablet. Anyone using something similar - charts cloud, Proatcx and a tablet? Anyone have a workflow for getting flights setup? If I wasn't using charts, I'd just let Proatcx create the flightplan and export (and load it into) the FMC. I prefer to …
