For some reason, the runway center and taxi lights are invisible no matter what altitude, landing and taxi lights also barely light up the ground. P3D V4.5 GTX 1060 6gb running on the latest drivers, tried rolling back to all drivers up till the Jan 2019 drivers without success. It happens at all airports, default and addon airports. Can anyone help me on fixing this?

I recently upgraded my P3Dv4 to version 5.12.30293 I cannot get the R/H engine started using the normal procedure Has anyone had this problem or any idea what I should do I have uninstalled & reinstalled the aircraft with the latest version but to no avail Thanking you all Hans Brokke

I am running 4.5 with the hotfix and am having major issues. The first thing I noticed was that Active Sky would display the message "Waiting for Simulator". Next, Chaseplane stopped connecting to the sim. Now my SimSkunkWorks Harrier causes a CTD. I know two of the tree addons use simconnect... not sure where to start in terms of troubleshooting. FSUIPC is the other addon using simconnect and it does seem to work. Last, the program load time seems to have increased. And I am seeing more CTD while 'flying'. I performed repair installs on the client but that did not help. Update: I am not convinced my woes are largely due to Simconnect. I have discovered ano…

I think Iris has gone out of business or something, they had older models which I doubt work in P3DV4. I'm wondering if there is a version of the A10 available from a vendor for p3Dv4? Anyone know or recommend? Bryan

How does France VFR scenery compare with ORBX region scenery, such as for North and South Germany? Also, are frame rates similar? Many thanks! John

So P3D was not starting and I went onto the P3D forums and one of the moderators listed to double click this option in order to disable add ons to get P3D to start. So now I have done that but I am missing all of my add ons and I honestly cannot remember everything I had? Is there a way to restore these add ons? Im quite bummed. Thanks !

Hi, Do some of you stayed on 4.3? If so please say shortly why. I'm on 4.4 and after various compatibilty problems with addons and "P3D has stopped working", I am in the process of doing a clean uninstall of 4.4 and reinstall of 4.3.

Dear all, If I have only my 3 view screens attached to my PC, the autofill does a great job on creating a view group. But if I have a 4th screen (that will be used for 2d panels) everything get's messed up. How can I use the 3 screen autofill view group when using a 4th screen? Is there a way to save that view group and used that as a custome view group when screen 4 is attached? Best Karim

Do the P3D v3 versions of France VFR products work in P3D v4? I purchased France VFR Basse Normandie when I used P3D v3, but I had major problems with autogen compatibility with my UK scenery. Would I need to purchase the P3D v4 version to enable the different autogen systems to work together?

Whenever I do "Cold&Dark" the F4E has a green APU light on. I can't start the engines. When I press "Signal External Airflow Start" nothing happens. On the F4J/S (there is no APU) it works fine. I'm guessing this APU is preventing my engines to start. How do i shut off the APU?

I have P3D PRO V4.3 and I bought several ORBX products which I LOVE but I also wanted to be able to fly over the South of France so I bought Part 1 and Part 2 of France VFR and thanks to Autogen global X 2.0 (free) both ORBX and France VFR can coexist" Anyone here have any experience with this?

Hi guys I've the ORBX vector, Global, Opencl Europe installed in my P3DV4.5 12hotfix. One of the nice things about 4.5 was that it eliminated a consistent long pause when taking off at FlightBeam's KSFO. It also eliminated long pauses at some other areas with issues. With the latest hotfix, I just tried taking off from 1R at SFO and it appears that the long pause is back. Is anyone else seeing this?

Had this problem last night. I installed SODE on a different drive to keep all my addons together. Then i installed ESSA orbx and it said that SODE was not installed. Result was there were no jetways. The reason i wanted SODE on another drive is because there a couple of airports that install directly into SODE for instance EDDN by 29Palms. And it just eats away at my C Drive where SODE wants to go. Iknow you can place it on another drive but addons dont seem to recognise that it is installed else where. Regards

I have not used Prepar3d before and am wondering if it’s still possible to download version 4,4 (I.e., not the current 4,5)? If yes, does this option come up during the purchase process, or if not, how is it done? Thanks folks, Brian

Hello folks - so I reformatted last weekend and forgot to deactivate my P3d install and now I'm out of activations. I emailed the licensing folks 2 days ago and haven't heard back. Anyone have experience on how long this typically takes? I guess I can keep waiting but was hoping to jump back in the sim this weekend.

I've tried to delete my ShadersHLSL folder, but then the program wont run, so i put it back. But why doesnt it work?

Does somebody know if soft clouds and enveshade works well with soft clouds? cheers

Hi everybody, After several years of flying the PMDG 777 with FS2Crew I decided learn to fly an Airbus and I got the Aerosoft A320 Professional for P3DV4. I've just finished (in quick and dirty mode) the tutorial flight and I am now aware that the Aerosoft bus comes with a copilot with automatic checklists and flows features, as well as some passengers announcements (cabin ready, prepare TO, prepare Landing, etc.). So I'm wondering if it is relevant for me to buy the FS2Crew addon? Please note that on the PMDG 777 I use the FS2Crew button (not voice) feature.

Hi Everyone, Having re-installed P3Dv4.5 three times now. Every time I select the PMDG 777, the aircraft selection pane, (the one where the aircraft revolves/spins) TURNS solid white, along with the OK button, to start the flight. These remain solid white in colour for quite some time (10 secs) but eventually P3D does start up with the Black screen as expected. BUT the black screen just hangs, and I haver to restart my PC, However when I restart my PC, P3Dv4.5 boots up and places me back at the selection window (Aircraft selection, airport, weather, time). If I select any default P3D aircraft P3D operates and loads as normal. Just for your information:…

I have just completed a clean install of P3D v 4.5.12. My reading suggested that I needed to update my F1 GTN Complete to avoid CTDs. To this end, I downloaded GTN PC Trainer 6.50.1. It has appeared to install correctly but now in planes like the Milviz DHC 3, the the box/surround for the 750 is showing in the cockpit but it is blacked out and showing no screen whereas it worked correctly previously. It does not power up.The GTN 750/650 are configured in MVAMS. In the A2A Beechcraft V tail, the GTN 750 does not show as one of the possible GPS devices of choice. Has anyone any advice? Thanks
