In P3D 4.4 and now 4.5 I see elevation issues with objects floating or looking distorted at wrong altitudes stretching up into the sky. This started in p3d 4.4 and now 4.5. Some developers have replied they have no idea what I am talking about and do not know what my issues is, saying there is nothing wrong with their scenery. LatinVFR have a forum topic acknowledging there is a problem at their scenery for Santiago but no fix yet. What changed in P3D to make this a problem? It is only when flying TO an airport, loading at the airport to start the elevations are all okay.

Seems like half of the addon airports I have even the GSX FSDT add on airports are missing gates. Even when I add gates in the editor I get this “no SODE Jetway found” even when I can see a jetway there, so I’ve been basically loading and unloading everything with stairs which is slightly annoying. Also noticing when entering an arrival airport, picking a gate for a heavy aircraft etc, I pull up and there’s no marshaller, seems to go hand in hand with the jetway issue. Any way to reset the jetways everywhere to a default ?

So I am trying to remember the name of a tool I used to have for P3D that would allow you to disable airports and scenery that you don't need for your flight so you would use fewer system resources. Anyone know what it's called thanks

I was considering the recently released Carenado D18S when I ran across a video on You Tube that offers fixes for the sound & flight dynamics, neither of which the author, David Womacks, found impressive. Has anyone got the D18S & agree/disagree with his assessments? T45

For those about to upgrade to P3Dv4.4, if you use any of the default Beech acft (the Baron, King Air, or Carenado A36 Bonanza) or the gauge files from any of them (the G1000 is commonly used in third-party freeware acft, for example)--all of these acft have been intentionally removed from P3Dv4.4. If you want to keep any of them moving forward, you'll want to keep a copy of the relevant aircraft directory from your v4.3 P3D\SimObjects\Airplanes, and you'll need to also seek out and save any gauge, effects, or sound files referenced in the aircraft.cfg, or panel.cfg. I use FPS locked in P3D (26) and the FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.01 (that's not up for debate that's just what works for me ) But I thought I would try after people keep saying its best to use an external one. Well, firstly is there any technical reason why? I would like to fully understand why an external limiter is better than locked/FFTF 0.01. I Downloaded RTSS and removed FFTF (set FPS to unlimited within P3D) to try it but I ran into a problem right away. Go get it Edit: Found an issue with the airac which come with it. Databas builder finds errors and I copied the 1807 over from EFBv1. That fixes that. But issues with demo Lic not taking hold. Have to inset name and e mail adrees on each run. I am sure the devs will look into this.

Hi I love LOD_RADUIS when its set to the 7.5< it makes p3d look fabulous! For it to go higher and sustain the same FPS (30) do I need a better GPU or CPU. My 1060 is limited to 6GB's so yeah. Cheers, Ols.

I'm loving the images I see in V4.5, but would like to change the water color. I know for a fact that the colors I see on the video bellow are similar to the colors I saw at FT TNCM with one of Gerard's presets in earlier versions of v4. That was with default P3D v4 water. Hi, Does anybody have this same issue with Flightbeam Wellington airport, I've posted over at the Flightbeam forum, other simmers are reporting the same issue without a real remedy, so I was just reaching out to more experienced people than myself.

Hello, I'm not sure If this is a problem of REX EF, but while flying in automation mode option "Enable scene lighting" is in "WAITING" status all the time. "RUNNING" status is only when I load a flight and after a while (1 to 2 minutes) it just changes to "WAITING". Anybody has the same indications?, because not sure if this option should be in "RUNNING" status during all flight what would be indicating it is actually working. I use ASP4 with ASCA for weather + ENVTEX textures. P3D ver 4.5. Thanx for any replies.

Tempted by Just Flights new traffic add on but I want to make sure it works with ATC so it’s not a frenzy. There’s some downsides to Pro-ATC like the voices don’t always match up location wise, and no VFR really. Would be nice if it did that much. I’m all ears to other ATC and traffic add ons a that work together. Any tips ?

Hi all, I have the PFPX v2.03 & TOPCAT v2.74 with their AIRAC 1906 respectively. When I'm doing the flight plan, it correctly gives me the runways: 18's, 36's, 32's and 14's (they're correct) but when using the "performance" tool (to obtain the values for 'takeoffs' and 'landings'), it doesn't allow me to choose tracks 32's and 14's, instead show me 33's and 15's (that's incorrect). In TOPCAT, the runways are correct, so I don't know where can be the issue; I need a little help to solve this error. PS. I don't remember what other airports happened to me and that is why I want to correct it for future inconveniences. …

Trying to learn this new beautiful plane from Vertx. I've searched the manuals, and I cannot find how to pan the map with a mouse control. The Range/Pan knob to the right of the G1000 display says click to pan. But this seems to have no effect in the sim. the map zoom in/out on the same button works, but I'm totally stumped as to how to pan the map in the sim. On P3Dv4.5 (without the Hotfix). I installed a small number keypad on my instrument panel so that I could simply push a number button to select an option from the default P3D ATC menu (announce taxi, position, on final, etc.) Was disappointed when P3D ATC didn't recognize those button pushes. Used the number keypad on my keyboard, same thing. Used the number across the top of the keyboard, it worked correctly. Went to registered version of FSUIPC and saw that when I press the numbers across the top of the keyboard, FSUIPC registered the press as a "1", "2", .... Just getting back into simming and I picked this up as I was keen to fly the A-10. I've noticed the stores manager doesn't appear to work and there isn't any manual included with the product. Is this a side effect of running it on the latest P3D or has anyone been able to make it properly work in 4.5?

HI, I have been having this for some time, P3D V4 will pause, go to 'not responding' then come back again. It can be quite annoying particularly if you're on approach and it does it. I've not managed to limit it to a single aircraft either. The best way I can describe it, is it's as if FSUIPC is saving the flight.. the pause is for a few seconds, however FSUIPC is not set to do so and also it generates no saved flights. So I am not sure where to start really, apologies if this is already covered.. if so please point me to the threads.. Regards

Hi Friends. I am using P3D with basic scenery for KCRW, and it seems to me that the localizers and the runway seem to be misaligned. > I see 053 and 236 for reciprocal. Again I am using data from the box. Any of you guys noticed this? Thanks for your comments. Bat

So there is no turbulence section that I can increase so the camera skakes etc when I'm flying through chop?

Hello I am trying to remember the name of a program I have seen before for P3D that lets you disable the scenery you don't need for your flight so the computer doesn't have to load all your addons that use up resources. Anyone know which program I am thinking of. Thanks
