Hello, What are good settings for my pc setup: cpu: intel 3770 gpu: nvidia gtx770 2gb ram:8 Gb

Saw some comparison shots on a blog showing that P3D had changed a lot of the EU landclass (although it wasn't necessarily more accurate compared to UTX). Are there any general improvements in the US to the landclass? Anyone know just how much of the landclass has been changed?

For the life of me I can't get the wingviews to work with my overland aircraft. I keep getting the VC cockpit, can anyone assit me?

Hello - has anyone here used Prepar3d as a control tower or ATC simulator? I recall that FSX had this capability in the multiplayer environment but interested to know how or if that functionality has carried over to Prepar3d. Thanks!

Hi Guys, I am new to posting information on this forum, but I have been using avsim for a real long time. I am an avif Flight Simmer user and always Tweaked FSX, whenever there were problems and it usually resolved them. However, that is not the case for Prepar3d. I have major perfromanace issues, like stuttering, CTD, 5 FPS in NY (Metro Area) other areas I see about 30FPS or higher. When I use FSX on my current laptop there are no issues stated above and everything works find. just reinstalled the .NET framework 4.0 to fix a smartassembly error i was getting. Now none of my planes' switches or buttons respond to mouse clicks, same goes for the FMC's of the NGX, QW757, etc any ideas?

Hi I've read that ENB and shade can sometimes not work with prepar3d, what do you use for prepar3d? Does mogwaisoft shade work with prepar3d? Thanks Lee

Is there a single product that can, at the same time, update the FMC data on the most emblematic aircraft for P3D / FSX and update the navaids database in the sim itself, as well as the MagVar tables, so that if, for instance, a rw heading (magnetic) changed and is not soincident with that in P3D / FSX, and the navaid update set's the ILS properly, then it will be correctly aligned? I know Hervé Sors offers MagVar updates, and navaid updates for certain areas ( France only I believe ), but I wonder if there is a commercial product doing both ?

Hi, I decided to give P3D another try with the new drivers just to see if the micro stutters went away using ORBX scenery. Well they did not. Anyway, I decided to go back to the default textures but add in all available textures from REX. This included 4096 cloud textures and max sky and water sizes. With everything maxed out in P3D, including water, traffic, airport ground vehicles, EVERYTHING!, I have 30 fps without a budge. This was a suprise to me because I thought for sure that with all of the textures installed along with everything maxed out I would have some issues. I just cant imaging the weight that ORBX textures must have, or maybe there is something else goin…

Guys, today I managed to Login to my old Wilcopub account and downloaded the latest (v3) version of the Airbus Series1 and Legacy. I was considering installing it on P3D (using the EMT). I do have the Aerosoft AXE. I wonder if any of you are using this Wilco add-ons. I was also surprised to read some of the reactions of users here at AVSIM to the announcement os a Falcon to be released by Wilco. It's been quite a while since I last bought/used anything from Wilcopub, the latest having been their 737 Pro, long ago, but back then Wilco had a good reputation (?) What happened in between? What products caused their reputation to fall that way?

Yesterday I managed to get into my old Wilcopub account and download the installers for the Embraer Legacy and Airbus Series 1. The installation went fine, but running any of the aircraft was fun until I closed P3D, either in normal or Legacy mode. There was a popup with the nasty "the application stopped working..." at the end of each session. Somehow these are not compatible with P3D. I regret because at least there was some personal contribution on the Airbus series (making the engines allow for the aircraft to move on the rw at idle - around 18% - N1 at a wide range of TOWs) and the modeled system are even more complex than those of the new AXE I am using :-( …

I have been using the Flightsim Estonia EMT almost since I bought P3D. On my last install, just a couple of days ago on my new 1TB disk I had a little problem with my intalation and filled a ticket. Well, without getting into details regarding the problem (and a technical question I also asked), I just have to say that I was very satisfied with there prompt and helpful reply! If I was already very well impressed with their product, I am now also impressed, rather positively, by their support!

When I fly out of KORS Eastsound WA, I notice the airport W49 Rosario (just south) on the GPS yet there is nothing there in the scenery. Has anyone else noticed this? Thanks, Ken

Anyone using it with P3D? Is it any good?

With my new 1TB disk I decided to take A2A's AccuFeel. I admire their add-ons. On my present ESP sim I had two - p51d Civil and the Stratocruiser. Adding AccuFeel allowed me to confirm the quality of their products. I have AccuFeel installed in P3D 1.4, and started playing with a few of the default GA. It's simple to use, smooth as silk, I do not detect any degradation in performance for using it, and and excellent value for the money. I strongly recommend !

I am considering this tool from A2A. I am using without problems the A2A p51d and b377 in P3D, and I wonder if any of you managed to use AccuFeel? Any feedback welcomed ;-)

Sorry ,This may be very basic but what is "legacy mode " in p3d . Is this a p3d function of a fsx migration tool function. Searched here and at p3d . Thanks in advance Pete

Using version 8.9, how do I direct SimLauncher to use Prepar3D Legacy Mode and not the regular version? I need Legacy for FSInn to work. Also, Most of my aircraft are not showing up correctly in SimLauncher - here's what I mean: All of my aircraft.cfg's are modified to only display the aircraft that I want to use (for example, a Carenado 172's cfg has all aircraft blocked out except the white/blue paint scheme, so that only that paint scheme shows up in the sim. Same goes for all aircraft - especially the airliners... take out all airline liveries except one or two that I actually use). So now, in SimLauncher, all I get are usually one aircraft that is one of the one…

Hello folks, Most of us remember P3D v1.3 and the ATC window opening in the middle of your screen...especially on final.. Well, at least v1.4 allowed us to move it to the upper left, out of the way. OK - this evening on a flight, the ATC window opened at the same time I clicked for a different view in Ez-doc, and all of a sudden, the ATC screen moves from upper left to "Center Stage"... I moved it back to upper left, but anytime it's opened now, it's goes to center like v 1.3 did........... What in the world do I need to do to get this rascal to stay put like it was, upper left? Your help and thoughts will be highly appreciated. cthiggin
