PMDG MD-11 (Legacy Version)

Dear PMDGWOW!!!!! I downloaded the MD11 at 4H30 this morning (uk) and I am still flying it. My life will never be the same again.Thanks PMDG for making my life worth living. HiI noticed in one of the CAWS takeoff warning voices, I noticed that one of them ("Flaps") seems to sound like it had a few [beers] too many :D! Does that sound like that in real life?Thanks

I have to say, I have purchased all of PMDG's products and this one is by far the GREATEST addon for FS ever, tops all others out there. Great Job Guys. Hi,I've purchased the PMDG MD-11X few minutes ago. Then I downloaded the installer and started the installation process. At the validation page i type in my data and clicked on "Validate" but a message box pops out and says that my "user information could not be validated".The order id is the same as in the mail / shop. My email ist also the same. Tryed with copy paste and manual typing but without any luck. My password has special characters, could it be that there are problems with special characters?Edit: my av and firewall are disabled...regardsOnur

I have been flying the 747 no problem, but are the requirements foe the MD-11 a lot higher?

Hi Folks,Firstly I want to say, What a beautiful bird you have produced. Certainly this is the Flight Sim event of the year!After installing, I booted up FSX loaded the MD11 and did a walk around, inspection of the details, and some crazy handflying.She handles wonderfully and runs very very smoothly on my rig.Now that I have had my initial bite of the cherry, I am settling down to go through the manuals.I have tried to find the documentation for the tutorial flight, but cant seem to find it.Would someone be so kind and point me in the right direction?. Hi, I was wondering if the PMDG MD-11X is specifically coded to spread the CPU workload across multiple cores, or does that automatically occur since FSX itself uses multiple cores?Thanks,Craig

I currently have both on my computer and would like to uninstall FS9 and re-install it.Questions:1.Is the add/remove function in the control panel sufficient to get rid of all the necessary files & folders associated with it or do I have to go into program files & make a few more deletions. I have a lot of PMDG aircraft etc....2. If I reinstall the FS9, will this somehow inadvertently affect my FSX installation in some hidden manner like....you might lose the FSX.exe prompt etc...The reason that I am asking is that I somehow lost all my airports in my fmc for the PMDG products and want to start over from scratch since the airac's etc. is built into the PMDG instal…

Captains-Just thought I'd give you a quick update to say that we are still targeting Monday as our preferred release date for the PMDG MD-11.To help you with the speculation, I am in the PDT time slice- so we're talking about late in the day for all of you in Europe, early afternoon for those on the US East Coast.Now- just because I like to keep my options open, there is a CHANCE that this release might push into Tuesday- I'll a bit more in about 8-10hrs.FWIW: The airplane is done. Good day all. This might seem like a simple question to answer, but I just want to be 100% sure. I just completed KLAX-EDDF with the QOS and the METAR in Frankfurt was: 110802Z VRB02 0100 ..... so basically, the visibility was terrible! Only 100 meters. Accordingly I did a full autoland and saw the runway lights only on touchdown. (By the way, it has been quite a while since I have done such a landing. Holy crap that was AWESOME!) Anyway, will the MD-11 have similar capabilities (to do a full autoland -- flare and rollout -- in such miserable weather)? Thanks for all the help!- Jake

So, I flew into Long Beach this morning. The company bought one way tickets on American Airlines fot myself and my first officer. It was a really nice flight. Those MD-80's, really are cool machines. (Flew the CoolSky Super 80 Pro, awesome simulation! :-kewl ) Anyhow, we are heading out to check into our hotel since we have the remainder of the day off. Our shiney new MD-11 won't be ready for delivery inspection until sometime tomorrow. Can't wait for that new airplane smell!
