Hello In pax version fs9 no EPR in EAD ? The spoilers do not deploy when landing even armed ? and do not go down when I put off reverses applying thrust on again just normal apparently also auto brakes do not work automatically ? All that works apparently well in the cargo version ? why difference ? Thanks for advisesregardsPatrick

I cant fly use my 744 after installation of md11. I install the newest update for md11, but this fault on first md11 installation was not resolved... I get the MCP and others are black. 744 wouldn't load airac i think...Any idea?

Hi, Folks.Ok. This is what happened so far.Today's flight was from Kansai(RJBB) to Naha(ROAH).The departure runway was 6R so I got to use the fix menu to do the approperate deparure procedure.So I typed "STE/214.0/8" and got to the page where I chose the right STE VOR 'cause there were some VOR named STE.When I chose the right one, my moniter got blacked and a few minutes later FS9 said there were some problems so it should be shut down.I'm currently using AIRAC0901 from http://www.navigraph.com and RJBB scenery from Simmer's sky and AES from aerosoft on FS9.1.So what should I do to make it work??p.s It's kinda a little bit late, but HAPPY NEW YEARS to EVERY SKY-LOVER!!!…

HiI wanted to know guys what is the installation order for pmdg md11 for fs2004 because I have the PMDG 737-700/800/900 and the 747-400 and freighter version so should I have to install all the aircrat mentioned before and install the md-11 last or which is the correct order to install because I do not want to have any problems at the moment to run the MD 11 or the other aircraft oh one more thing of course Iam going to buy the md-11 for fs2004 version,Regards,Victor

Again ,with the problem within reclimb in SID climb.My situation is like this: after take off, AUTOFLIGHT, NAV mode and PROF mode engaged and aircraft configurated clean (aircraft configed throgh PMDG laod manager with TOCG 21-22). I am on a SID for example with a navaid limits FL128. The MD levels off at FL128 automatically until passing that navaid. when passing that point, it will climb again in accordance with the FMC settings until reaching my enroute FL.Problem is: at such FL, usually exceeds FL100, with all the things under FMC control and AUTOFLIGHT engaged, the speed (ECON CLB spee,d CI 70-80, usually 32xknots) is near the overspeed red tape, once the aircraft…

To the PMDG DEVSI posted a issue I was having with the MD11 Track IR and multi monitors that has made the aircraft unflyable in the VC. I'm sure it annoys you when people say it works fine on the 747/737/Default Aircraft etc but here are my specs and I would appreciate any input you give to help my issue as flying in 2D long term is not an option for me.Specs Core 2 Duo E8600 4ghz, win xp pro 32bit, ATI4870 512mb, 2gig Ram, large defragged drive with FS9.1 all major scenery and fs9 is liquid smooth under any scenario.Ok I've been flying the 744 for a long time now with TrackIR on a 42" LCD and other panels like EICAS, Overhead etc running on two separate monitors and …

I have having a serious problem with the stab trim staying set. I will set the stab trim, and as soon as I stop where it needs to be it goes right back to FULL nose up!!!!! :( Obviously, this makes it entirely unflyable!!! I have slightly the same issue with the Levl D 767 FSX... but at least on that one, once set, it will STAY set for a while. It is not staying set at all on the MD-11.... I have absolutley NO issue with it on the 747 though!!!! :( I am running Vista Ultimate 64-bit4MB RAM

Assume that TO/GA autothrottle has been engaged and the MD-11 is accelerating. The ABS is set to RTO and the spoiler is armed. If something warning happend before V1, how should I reject this takeoff? I tried to pull back the thrust, but the take off autothrottle has been engaged, so my controller can not overide it. The tires/brakes continue to show the smoke effect after landing. A picture of the MD-11X sitting at KSEA after a landing is attached. In this picture, just the center landing gear equipment is smoking but I often see it on all the wheels. Could this be caused by the aircraft being "too low" on the runway? Any suggestions for a fix? Not a real major issue, but a major annoyance. It happens with both models.I am using the MD-11 FSX and FSX SP2.Thanks.

I'm having a problem taxiing after landing my MD11. I have to get the engines up to 70% to get it moving. If I lower the throttles to slow down, the plane slows down and rolls to a stop. It's like I'm trying to taxi with the emergency brake on (I checked and it's not :). I can't figure this out. I'm sure it's something simple that I'm doing, or have done after landing. Before I get bombarded with "RTFM"...I have, but can't find anything dealing with this. I believe the manual states that around 40% throttle should get you moving, and it does when I taxi to takeoff. I posted this question in another topic, but now I've found out the problem I'd like to see if others are having the same issue?This only seems to apply to the MD11-FSX update...According to the list of amendments, the flight idle was increased when slats are extended. This has improved handling and made a descent in idle clamp much more realistic.Now, the problem I have is that it inhibits the autobrakes and the spoilers. Retarding the throttles only brings them back to flight idle. Upon touch-down the spoilers deploy and then immediately retract because the throttles aren't at the idle stop. Hi, I have a very strange CTD issue when selecting a PBD waypoint in the DIR INTC function.If I for exampe type PAE/160/20 in the SP and then I push the 1L LSK (Dir To field), then a new screen pops up and asks me to select one of three "PAE's", so i select the closest one (present position is KSEA) and then the everything crashes to desktop.BUT, instead of typing PAE/160/20 in the SP i could type SEA/340/10 in the SP so I dont have to choose from diffrent "SEA's" (theres only one) and then everything works fine.Is there anything im doing wrong?Gustav

Another one where I'm pretty puzzled are the speed bugs. I now like to know whether there is a simple method how to get things right.Looking at the speed tape during takeoff and approach/landing somehow gives me a bad feeling when I see many the bugs 'at the same time' without knowing what they mean in more detail.Being used to use the bugs as the maneuver speeds for a certain flaps setting (and the typical Boeing/Airbus flaps scheduling scheme), I for instance wonder about that when I take off with e.g. flaps 28 I find the -F35 bug at a speed well up on the speed scale.So, it seems my usual approach to use the next flaps bug I find on the scale as the point when to retra…

Hello,I have installed the latest AIRAC cycle from Navigraph and it seems I have no transitions available on the MD11 FS9 FMC on arrival at Frankfurt. Just to test that the AIRAC is ok, I checked with the PMDG 747 FMC and the transitions appear as usual.On the FMC, my last waypoint is Osmax and after selecting for an ILS25R approach, I would expect to see an Osmax STAR and an Osmax Transition available but the FMC just says 'no trans'.I expect I am doing something wrong.Any advice?ThanksRenzo

This is my third attempt at trying to get some help. I am running fs9 and have a legal copy. #4 disk is installed in the computer. I have version 9.1 installed, verified by running fs9 and selecting ALT,HELP, ABOUT FLIGHTSIM 9, AND IT SHOWS I HAVE 9.1. I also checked the modules folder and all the files are labeled version 9.1. My computer is a velocity micro, model: gamers edge, rating: 5.9, processor:intel[R] core [TM] 2 quad cpu q9450 @ 2.66GHz 2.67 GHz, ram: 4.00 GB, sys type vista 64 bit. HelloI've noticed two cosmetic issues arising in the MD-11 FS9 VC1: The 2d popup FMC doesn't update - eg, when in PROF descent and checking vertical deviation on the PERF page, while the numbers in the VC FMC update and tick over correctly, when I activate the 2d popup the numbers on the 2d FMC will freeze, only closing it and reopening it will update the numbers but they do freeze again. This also occurs with other changing numbers, eg DTG to dest.2: At night or dusk, the VC indication of brake pressure on the forward centre console disappears.Finally, if I may request a (minor?) addition, could the elapsed time indication that starts automatically after liftoff be saved…
