Hi, Maybe someone knows how it is that the PMDG O.C. no ptp files unpack more. I get the following message: Transavia Airlines PH-HSW is for the PMDG 737-800NGX WL but That version is not installed. That's weird, because at first he did do it. When I installed the PMDG 737-800 he created four folders in P3D \ Simobjects \ Airplanes \ 1. PMDG 737-800NGX 2. PMDG 737-800NGX WL 3. PMDG 737-900NGX 4. PMDG 737-900NGX WL So indeed a WL version right?

I know there was a thread a while ago about a PMDG 787 but the real question about whether or not one is likely was never really answered. I know that a fully functional EFB that comes with the 787 in the world as standard is a none starter, but is PMDG able and willing to make a 787 in the future? I know that another developer is currently in the process of making one but we know that will be "reduced complexity", so would really like to know if a PMDG standard one is likely in the future? I've looked at many YouTube videos on the 787 and most of the advances in aircraft design don't actually apply to the sim, and it looks like this bird is right up your alley so to spea…

Ok before I drop like $200 (NGX&777)on this I'd like to know how my performance will be in p3dv3 compared to FSX,most of the time I can maintain atleast 30 fps in V3 save for some of the Carendo jets at Orbx airports. My specs I7-4790k @4.5ghz Gtx980ti 16gb ddr3 1866mhz 120gb SSD for Windows 512gb SDD for prepar3d.

Good morning all. I run a nice little utility called FSXML that allows me to edit entries in the DLL.XML file and only load certain DLL modules as they are needed. Like if I'm not running my CaptainSim plane, I don't load the related DLL into the file. This frees up room in memory. What I want to know is what each of the PMDG aircraft require as far as entries in the DLL to run? I noticed that the 737 only seemed to install the HUD dll file. What is the breakdown of the others? I have all the aircraft PMDG has made. Thanx in advance! -Rick

I'm running The PMDG 777 on FSX-SE on a windows 10 machine. Everything works beautifully until I try to reset a flight. After the reset nothing works, the flight deck is dark and lifeless. Not Cold & Dark but blank screens and unelectable switches and buttons. The only way to correct the problem is to completely exit out of flight sim and restart. Does anyone have any experience with this problem or have any idea how to fix it. Thanks Gareth

Using Prepar3D v3.3.5 Professional Plus, I cannot get PMDG keyboard shortcuts to work. Specifically, I'm trying to get the Engine 1/2 'Idle' and 'Cutoff' commands to work so I can map them to buttons on my Saitek throttle quads using FSUIPC. I've got the mapping done -- that's pretty trivial -- but neither button worked. I then tried the direct keyboard shortcuts (CTL-SHIFT-F1, F2, F3, F4). They don't work either. I made sure that any conflicting keyboard commands in the P3D 'Standard.xml' config file have been deleted (they have been). Digging in a little more, it appears that NONE of the PMDG-specific assignments are working, and I cannot program new sequences …

When i do quick rudder movement/casting, my game drops from 25-35 fps to 8-12. ONLY when i move my yoke. Here is gif were i move my rudders compared to when i dont. You can see the fps counter either in the top left corner (default fsx fps counter). After the DC-6, does PMDG plan to launch other vintage aircrafts in the coming years? My ideas are the B727 and the B737-200... I think it would be great to have a jet airliner directly from the 70's... Lots of speed, but no digital instruments, sometimes not even INS available, and lot's of failures to happen...

Good Afternon, I bought the NGX a few days ago after a long time using P3D only with the Aerosoft Airbus+Majestic Dash (without similar problems). I have been flying for 8 times till now and touched the ground only 5 times. The other ones ended with a CTD or something similar to CTD. .) First time over the Mediterran Sea (airborne for about 3:45 hours) on the way from Munich to Hurghada. Hi all, I'm posting here as I'm hoping those that do long haul flights may have had something similar to what I'm experiencing. During long flights I switch off my monitor, which I've done for years without issues, but now when I switch it back on, P3D crashes. About 6 weeks ago I upgraded (completely clean install) to Win 10 Pro 64 and did a clean install of P3D v3.3.5 when it was released. I currently only have a few add-ons installed while I configure my set up. I've been doing some long hauls to ensure I have no memory or scenery issues and this is where the problem is. Moved by the DC-6 for X-Plane development by PMDG, and in anticipation of glimpsing its VC for the first time, a couple of weeks ago I did something I never thought I would. I bought X-Plane. After years and years of Microsoft flight simulator, preceded by countless hours of fun with the amazing FLY! series, I reached a point were I was happy with the sim. FSX was finally working flawlessly on my machine, and considering the amount of high end addons for sale (I admit I own quite a few, especially from PMDG and A2A) I felt compelled to stay with FSX forever. Robert, If there is one thing that I can request upon the release of the upcoming 747, and that is to have all of the liveries available in the installation package rather than just through PMDG Operation Center. I ask this because I have been unable to install any liveries through the OC in a very long time. It did not matter if I reinstall FSX, PMDG products or reinstall windows, the same thing continued to happen and I know that others are experiencing the same problem as well. If I want the aircraft to start up in a completely cold and dark state by default, how do I go about doing that? I mean, the fmc is offline, so I cannot save the panel state after I have placed the 777 in the state I want it. If I use the cold and dark state that comes along with the product, the default trans alt is overridden, so I would like to shut her down and secure her myself with the default values I prefer before saving the cold and dark panel state.
