Hi, so I recently re-installed my pc and all of my flightsim stuff needed updating anyway. Came in too heavy into LFPO (Orly, France) this evening. I don't know why. No excuses. METAR was fine, etc, All 65 pax evacuated timely and fuel cut off/ engines down in a similarly timely fashion. Left on the taxiway scratching head in disbelief. Right gear wheel ripped off with subsequent collapse. Note to self; wine drinking or flying B738 - Decide!

Got sent this on Facebook... An air traffic control tower suddenly lost communication with a small twin engine aircraft. A moment later the tower land line rang and was answered by one of the controllers. The terrified passenger riding with the pilot who lost communications was on a cellular phone and yelled: "Mayday, Mayday!!.... MY pilot had an instant and fatal heart attack. I grabbed his cell phone out of his pocket and he had told me before we took off he had the tower on his speed dial memory. I am flying upside down at 18,000 feet and traveling at 180 mph. Could anyone share there comments as to why? In my FSX DX10 setup I am running frames unlimited for which get an extremely smooth and fluid sim at average 65fps with the NGX737, but when I'm using the 777 my frames only average around 25fps, which is also a bit jittery, could somebody explain to me why or is there some sort of fix for the 777? just curious. I recently had a drive crash. Not one where I have FSX or Prepar3D; however, the drive crash necessitated a reinstall of the OS, WIN 7 Ultimate. This obviously effected my register. Finally got FSX reinstalled to its own drive. In the FSX menu, I can see all my PMDG aircraft, I can select them, it asks for the dll permissions to which I say yes, but then asks for the license. I input the license for the corresponding aircraft, but I receive an error. What am I doing wrong? Will I have to reinstall all my PMDG aircraft and liveries? Thanks for any help. Carter

I have a new graphics card on the way and thought I read somewhere in these forums once that I need to uninstall my PMDG's before making a hardware change. Is that true? Just a side note. I have VR and sitting in the cockpit of my NGX is awesome. The detail put into this plane is truly realized when your actually sitting in the plane in VR. Thanks. Clint Carpenter

I'd like to hear opinions of users as well as from the developers themselves. After being a member of the community for a relatively short time, I noticed that people like various planes, whether or not they're obsolete. But how was it decided that some old propeller airplane will be the plane that PMDG would dedicate it's time and resources to it? Needless to say, PMDG does not half-&@($* anything. Despite not owning the DC-6 nor X plane, I can say with confidence that the product is very precise. But why the antique?

If I buy ppmdg 777 base and expansion at same time i will get two seperate serials?

I purchased what I believe is a legitimate copy of the 777 from Aerosoft. I see an update is available at precisionmanuals.com through the Operations Center program. Apparently, I'm not eligible to download it because I didn't make my purchase from the PMDG website. Is there a way to associate my license with my account enabling me to download the update? As told at the topic, purchased directly from pmdg - all gone clear - payment - email.... but when i click at the download link nothing happens... my browser shows - "waiting for...." but after minutes ... nothing... I purchased it to get it faster! this was my LAST product i've buyed from pmdg!

I fly the 737ngx. I have pfpx and ASNext but uncertain as to how best get them working together in real time flights. Is there a way to get the realtime weather into the FMS in the 737NGX apart from manual entry?

How is it that I get a different (more vibrate deep) sound when I pause and unpause the simulation (FSX Steam) than when going to the outside view and back to the inside view (higher less pleasant)? Can I do anything about that? R.S.

I reinstalled FSX Acceleration to a partitioned drive. Planes work fine there, but the ops center is not connecting. It just spins, saying, " loading settings". I see the ops center is in the C drive, but FSX is in the H drive. I uninstalled and reinstalled the 737 NGX, as well as the op center, three times now and still cannot find a way to get the I've looked around, but I'm not finding any previous examples on this. Please advise.

Hi PMDG< Just wondering if the 777 & NGX will receive any more minor updates for the evolving Prepar3d V3? I have noticed that at least two other prolific developers have had to update their aircraft to be more compatible with the very latest version P3D V3.3.5 and just wondered are PMDG planning any more updates for the above titles for P3D? Robert mentioned that P3D now has more advanced features and tech that they could utilise and has already mentioned about the 747 V3 getting the benefit of this technology it would be good if it doesn't already have it if the 777 & NGX could be bought up to speed so to speak. I have just installed PMDG 737 into P3D V3 and the livery manager and other settings under the aircraft menu in the operations center is not showing. I have V3 installed under C:\Prepar3d v3 while the operations center is under C:\Program Files (x86)\PMDG Operations Center. I moved P3D back to the original default location as C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3d v3 but the livery manager still doesn't show. What should I do to make the livery manager appear again? It worked when I had FSX with Windows Vista 64 bit when FSX was at the default location as C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\FSX. Now I changed my operating system to Win 10 64 bit so I have …

Hello all. I am currently using FS Flight Tracker 9.5.1 for FSX by Chanticleer Software (also did for FS9 a few months ago). With it I can collect basic and useful info of my flight, such as ZFW, TOGW, LDW, off-blocks time (hh:mm format), lift off and touchdown times, max. taxi speed on departure and destination aerodromes, and several other items. Very useful for comparing my actual fuel consumption against PFPX's computed predictions, for example (by the way, let me tell you its results really amaze me, in a positive way). Just wondering how the DC6 for XPlane has sold compared to PMDG products for FSX & P3D. Is there a large amount of XPlane users compared to FSX & P3D? Have you sold enough for XPlane to make it worthwhile to develop more products or would it have been wiser to stick with FSX & P3D? I've used all 3 & always found XPlane to be troublesome setting up controls & long load times occasionally. I try to like it but always end up removing it from my computer. I use only P3D now, very stable & smooth (V3.3) no memmory issues, it just works... Thanks Mark
