Hi captains, in the advent of the DC6 I wonder about the tutorial to come with it. Since a friend asked me about flying the Flight1 MD-80, I remember that in this simulation much support is given to run you through the various checklist -- even framing in the views which switch to turn next etc. However, in MD80 the guide somehow lacks the information ... 1. why do I have to it? - obviously to get the whole aircraft running in the end, but there were items in the list like closing/opening isolation valves, and it is not apparent, why you have to close/open it; 2. why now? - what philosophy is in the sequence? 3. what is fine…

OK, I installed the 737NGX. When asked for my licence I was told it was invalid. Tried to get on website and can't. I don't get the option of using my licence when I load the aircraft in P3D any more and get licence fail issue.... obviously because I haven't registered it..... is this because I can't access the website? Please can someone tell me how to register the thing as I never get the option when loading in P3D. Can someone tell me how to get on the website. Is this a secret? Why so damn difficult?

I bet this has already been posted, I can't find any reference, but does anyone have any idea how to get on the PMDG website? I've seen vague references to firewalls and ports but every other website is accessible. Message I get is "website unreachable"

Good afternoon: Recently upgrade to P3D V3. I had the PMDG 737 NGX for FSX. Do I have to purchase the PMDG 737 NGX for P3D? Tried to search through the 2000+ pages of threads, but I did not find anything. Thanks, Joe Verschueren

Hello, I have the 737 and 777 for P3D installed and, well, they were working! I have a lot of other addons and today I updated P3D from 3.1 to 3.2 by uninstalling and reinstalling the client only to save me having to reinstall everything. Needless to say P3D now crashes on start-up with the faulting module being ai_player.dll. I have tried everything to resolve this by disabling all ai and scenery which contains ai but its too hard now and not worth wasting any more time. I cant get past the loading screen. I have decided to do a complete reinstall but I know from previous experience that I must deactivate the 777 and 737 through the FMC. What happens if I cant even load …

What is this all about? The operations center worked fine earlier this morning, then I updated it. Running win 10, and I have all the admin rights, etc. Not running FSX anymore but I do own the FSX version as well as the Prepar3d version. But very bizarre that this thing worked fine just a couple hours ago, before I updated things. Name is Mark A Sewell, in case that is required here.

Hey all, It's been a long time! I haven't really been into FSX for quite some time, since early 2013 due to my frustrations with FSX crashing all the time and spending more time messing with .cfg files than actually flying. Decided to give it a go again, since I really did miss flying. Around Christmas I bought FSX:SE for $5, figured couldn't go wrong with that. So now I've installed it, got Active Sky Next going and installed the NGX. Helpful people on AVSIM pointed me towards Simbrief which is a great website, since I like to fly planes, not plan routes and loads and stuff, I want to be told what I'm doing and go do it. Anyway, so I'm all excited for a simulat…

Have made 4 attempts to submit a Support Ticket in the last 30 minutes. Each time, the New Ticket.aspx hangs, then times out. Any idea what is happening? Thanks.

I decided to finally invest in this product, as I have been eyeing it for a while. I have no regrets, but a few frustrations at the moment. First and foremost, my main concern are crash to desktops that have started occurring since I installed the PMDG 737 for Prepar3d v3... and I do want to be clear that these CTDs have only been starting since I installed the aircraft. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but still have the same issue. The aircraft itself seems to work fine (looks very nice by the way), and I did some short circuits around the airport. However, the CTDs seem to occur primarily when I try to switch from one PMDG aircraft to another. It als…

I just bought the 777-300 expansion, but when I was running the installer, it told me that I need to update my 777-200. So I went to the website, the problem is, I bought the 777 from simmarket and shipped it to my house. According to the Operations Center, "this update is not yet available. We are working on a solution for CD/DVD customers." Does this mean that I cant install the Expansion ever? Adar

Not sure if we've ever explored this scenario before, but I was curious if you could only choose either the 737 or the 777 to own and fly in flightsim, which would it be and why? I'm not looking for which you think is reproduced more accurately, what, if any flaws may be within each (or either, or neither, hehe)....just want to know the some of the reasons, similar to what I'm posting below. First, my choice: The 777. Reasons: It is my favorite real world aircraft. I love the story of its creation, how innovative the manufacturing process was, The risk they took to build it, how it's led to a whole new category of aircraft (large, long range twin engine aircraft)…

When ever I fly the PMDG 777, while descending, the engines always spool up like crazy out of no where. This forces me to disconnect the Autothrottle, control the engine power, then turn it back on, its very strange. Anyone know why?

The beta team received word last night that pictures may be shown here, and I'm somewhat surprised none have ended up here yet. That being said, I do know Pete (Froogle) has been busy lately with some travel plans, and I have a feeling Carl will eventually show up and describe the 6 in beautifully exquisite and artistic detail...but for now, I'll provide you with a few shots from my earlier testing. Of course, remember that these are beta pictures, so try to refrain from total meltdowns about things that might look out of place. The beta team has been very good at snagging items so far, and each build makes things ever better. Also, of note, is that none of these pict…

This aircraft addon looks really nice and I will buy it at release. Though I'm disappointed that the GNS430 is included ( if it is the integrated X-Plane version), as it is not well featured. A better way would be to implement the KLN90B, which supports SIDS/STARS (http://www.eadt.eu/index.php?kln90b). It supports datarefs and can be implemented as 3D, as it is done with Felis AN24 aircraft. Ask for permission and DO IT!!! This will make it possible to fly SIDS/STARS online. EDIT: Johannes Bergmark

I've managed to put myself through refresher training on the FMC, as I've had a ten year break from FSX. I'm just trying to plan ahead so that when I purchase the NGX tomorrow I can input my route and off I go, so to speak, Sans ATC for the time being. A particular route planner gave me HON as the final waypoint (via UL612) for the arrival into Heathrow. Now I'm assuming, in real life, from HON you would be directed, by ATC, as far as as Bovingdon and entered into a hold pattern. Without ATC to then vector me to the chosen runway Loc and subsequent ILS, what is my best plan of action in terms of programming the FMC to arrive safely at the runway threshold? …

I had to reinstall my Pmdg planes (777, 737, j41). I ran and updated the Pmdg operations center. I tried to instal the liveries on the above planes. I used the operations center. The liveries did not instal properly. I deleted the operations center and reinstalled it. The liveries still did not instal. The liveries have always installed properly in the past. Please help me resolve this problem. Thank you.

Hello! I probably didn’t sign into my PMDG account at precisionmanuals.com for about a year or so, but yesterday I wanted to (finally) update my 777-300ER to version 1.10.7025 and noticed that I can’t log into my account anymore. When I try to log in here, using my E-mail and password, it says “The login information you provided was not found in our database. Please try again or use the password reminder tool to retrieve a lost password”. I didn’t forget my password, by the way, but nevertheless I gave the password reminder tool a try and it did indeed mail the correct password to my address, which I was using in my login attempts. I even tried copy-pasting it…

Hello I have searched for these words in your forum but can't find anything. I am trying to reinstall my 777 and 737NGX onto P3D v3.1 but keep getting the message; "The activation of the fulfillment is denied by the activation policy because max extra activations exceeded. [incident# 6569-8147368]" Can you advise please? Thx Andrew EDIT: Ticket submitted.

Just had to create a thread to detail why I believe any gripes with PMDG's prices compared to other developers should be taken with a pinch of salt. We pay for the phenomenal attention to detail that PMDG puts into its products. Today I realised why I always enjoy coming back to flying PMDG aircraft. I am part of British Airways Virtual or BAV as we are now called due to IP issues. As everyone knows BA have an extensive fleet of 777 and have a lot of variants within the fleet for different passenger demands for each destination around the globe. The PMDG 777 is probably the best aircraft on the simulation market but the ability to customise your 777 to accurately refl…

FSX's runways never change angles, they never change numbers or anything like that, but I will use JFK as an example. I just landed my NGX, and it kept trying to tell me that the runway I was landing at cut across the entire airport, when it did not. It's not a big deal, but it does irk me when I find out that my PMDG aircraft won't even recognize an airport anymore even though it's still in FSX. I'm not going to hunt through files to make FSX agree with PMDG. It's annoying to find out half way through a landing that the ILS isn't aligned properly. Patrick Boynton
