Dear PMDG,I bought your 737NG a few days ago and love it. It has risen to my 2nd favorite airplane next to CSs 727. The reason the 727 is still my favorite is because they have a Check and Set system. Meaning you hear you crew speaking to eachother and 'you' and they interact with eachother and you. I was wondering if it would be possible to apply this to future patches of your 737. This would definately make a great product even better. I'm sure lots of people, including me, would greatly appreciate it. Keep up the great work guys! I look forward to the 800!-Kellan

Heo!Is it possible to run 737 in 16 bit color mode? When I try it, my panel gets some strange color.I am trying to fly in 16 bit mode because FPS are much better there as they are when I am flying 32 bit mode.Another question. Is it happening to anybody that you have much lower frame rates in full screen mode than in the windowed mode?Regards,Nejc

According to one of our customer's Boeing 737NG Maintenance Manuals, the Window Heat Overheat Test should make the green Window Heat "ON" lights go out. The test simulates an overheat and the protection circuits trip off the window heat, causing the green ON lights to go off, the amber Master CAUTION to illuminate and the ANTI-ICE annunciator lights to come on. After running the test, you must cycle the window heat switches OFF then back ON again to get the green ON lights to come back on. This doesn't seem to be happening in PMDG's NG... or, at least, in my copy of it.BTW, the green ON lights indicate that there is heater current flowing to the respective window. The nor…

This message wasn't intended to be a mini-tutorial, but... :-)I was just reading about the "RAM DOOR FULL OPEN" annunciator light in a 737-700 maintenance manual (-800/-900 ops slightly different). The Airconditioning "Packs" can use outside air to cool hot engine or APU bleed air for cabin air pressurization/passenger comfort. The hot engine/APU bleed air is cooled by feeding it through a kind of radiator known as a "Heat Exchanger". The cool outside air is blown over the heat exchanger (not actually mixed with the engine bleed air). The outside air is scooped up by one of two "Naca" scoops (one per Pack) and fed to the heat exchanger via a duct.http://members.ozemail.com…

Can't seem to find any posts about the pre patch frame rate issue with the VC.The VC still reveals a problem with frame rates.I noticed this when flying with the main 2d panel with the VC popping up in side views. As long as I stay in the 2d view frame rates are solid, and switching to outside view and back gives no problems. As soon as I switch to a side view in VC mode or to the regular VC cockpit my frame rates go down by more then 1/3 (LAX area maxed settings from 20 to 12 fps). The lower frame rates stay there from then on.In game display setting changes, like switching autogen density from very dense to extremely dense etc, brings my frame rates back up!I specifically …

I like flying, and 737 NG is special. I have read nearly everything in this forum about framerates, but the more I read the more confused I become. I am no computerexpert, but have the impression that some of you out there are. Can anyone help with the following questions:Can I do anything to speed up framerates a little, I have 3-8 fps in 737 NG virtuel cockpit in fs9, everything else runs fine?If I decide to buy a new pc, what shall I be aware of? speed, ram or grafficcard or what?? I just don't want to spend about 12000 dkr. ( 1500 dollars) if it doesn't help. My specs are:Win. xp pro.P4 1.6 GHz 512GF-4 Ti 4400/128, latest driversI have tied all settings in fs9 I can …

Hi!well, I'm kind of frustrated with the PMDG 737 now. After flying the DF737 for a long time, I thought the PMDG is of similar quality. Meanwhile it seems it has more bugs than features. I have really a lot of problems, most of them are already mentioned in this forum by other pilots. But there are still a few I can't "avoid".I can not change the freq. of my radios right of the decimal point. It's possible to switch from 118.00 to 119.00, but I can't change from 118.00 to 118.10. Well, to be more exact - the freq. DOES change, but it's not shown on the radio panel. It always stays on .00This problem was mentioned in http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...d=13761&am…

Gents-it seems that for those of you who have problems reading in the SID and STAR files, we might have the reason:To be consistent with FSUIPC-style file paths, we read in the SIDSTARS folder location using a NETBIOS-style path (i.e. MYMACHINECfs2002PMDGSIDSTARS).As such, if your machine does not have NETBIOS installed, you might have problems with this...We'll be fixing it in the update, but for now, just install NETBIOS ;-).

I thought the FMC was supposed to calculate V-speeds automatically after entering weight data, but it does not. If i have to enter them manually, where do I get them from?

After finally getting the 737NG working in FS2004 (gave up patching in 2002), all is pretty well except for one item. If I switch to 45 degree right view or to Virtual Cockpit while in windowed mode, all of the displays are blank. They work fine in the 2D panel. I have searched the forum and couldn't find anything on this issue. Any ideas on a solution?

The throttle window pops up on top of the button you need to get rid of it. Please add an X on it to dispense with it and/or have it pop up elsewhere (e.g., center or right side). Please do not suggest a Shift-n, as we have been instructed numerous times to use the MZAL... buttons instead. It is just this time you can't unless you manually drag it over.Lee Hetherington (KBED)

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I'm following the instructions to the letter, I cannot start the left engine. The right engine starts w/o a problem. I am familiar with the Dreamfleet 737 and never had a problem there. However, here in FS2004, when the left engine N2 hits 25%, I activate the fuel flow lever, and nothing happens. Anyone know why this might be?

I noticed that after installing PMDG 737 I get an error 'Runtime error 5 at 00408286.' The error will pop up in multiple boxes after I restart my PC. When I uninstall the PMDG software, the error goes away. So far I haven't seen any issues with my OS or any other programs and I'm convinced this is directly related to the PMDG software. Does anyone knows what this mean adn what it might be affecting in the software? ThanksI also have the service update installed for PMDG 737Also, can someone send me the SIDs/Stars for the PMDG 737 please?e-mail: [email protected]:WinXP Pro SP1Asus A7N8X v.2.0 AMD 2800 Barton @333mhzATI Radeon 9700 Pro 128MB Catalyst 3.4 drivers80 GB…

Hello all !Edit: Well it is not a clear CTD but I get the usual "do you want to send a report to microsoft..." window.I suspect that mostly Swedish fellows do this trip...I have now moved PMDG 737 (+SR1) from FS2002 to FS9.This is my problem:Everytime I fly the 737-600 SAS from ESMS to ESSA FS9 crashesabout 50 miles from ESSA. No warnings of any kind. I use the IFRflightplan in FS9 and first I
