If you are a sky designer then you surely have noticed a bug which causes a sudden change in the apparent brightness and saturation of your sky texture (and clouds I think). It is most noticeable at sunset. I'd like to know if this is a well known (and thus already reported ) problem. I've spent some time trying to track this down and it appears to happen at every xxx.650 decimal degrees longitude when travelling west. It wont happen when sitting still. It wont happen travelling north or south. I don't know if it happens travelling east or at sunrise. I like to travel west and watch the sunset but the sudden change in lighting is annoying. I'm trying really hard to enjoy X-plane 11. Using the free camera has helped create some of the views I like to use, but i still don't know how to use native VOR navigation on the 737. It's not too difficult to figure out in FSX but so far, I'm clueless as to how to manipulate the nav screens on the 737. Is their an online manual that I can reference regarding the default 737, or would someone familiar offer some tips? Thanks

Hi everybody, I'm building a home cockpit for the C172 and for connect the cockpit with X-Plane 10 I would use the ArdSimx Plugin. Now I'm building the exact annunciator panel (and not the wrong annunciator panel's of the default's cessna C172 of X-plane10) and i'm searching the dataref for the fuel quantity of the right and left tanks for turn-on the led when the fuel is low level. I found the low fuel dataref but non for every tanks but for the general low fuel indicator. I hope you understand my bad english. Thanks and ciao

Have very recently purchased XP11. One thing that is really frustrating me is how to minimize XP11? I know this must be available and simple, but for the life of me haven't figured it out yet.

Hello, I have been using X-Plane 10.50 sporadically so i can check on its evolution as a simulator. This has now ended with the release of version 11, but that's another story. One of the things that bugs me most is the lack of proper default airports such as the ones we can find in FSX or P3D. Okay, they're default and generally bad/poor but at least they have taxiways and a few gates here and there making them usable until i can find a proper addon or something similar. Hi Just starting to get to grips with xp11 I use navigraph for my charts in p3d and fsx.As the option for updating xp11 shows up in the navigraph manager I set it up to update. However If i go into the default 737 it shows as the database is out of date Is it possible to update the default database, and if so in which folder does the data base belong Thanks

What are your recommendations. Which one is the best solution? I don`t need ultra realistic flightplans, i just want to have plausible moving aircraft around me. Thanks for any input.

Hi guys, the title says it all :-) If so I would go for it today, buy XP, the Airbus and xEnviro.... Hi, the xplane efis is almost unreadable,how I can enlarge it? The name of waypoint vor etc ist readable becouse of were to small .In xplane 10 efis is normally readable. best regards Ugo

Hi, now that X-Plane 11 has been released out of beta, I also want to switch from X-Plane 10 to 11. I have generated photoscenery for all of Germany with Ortho4XP using the HD Mesh v3 to build the overlays. As X-Plane 11 has newer OSM data, I guess rebuilding the overlays for the photoscenery using X-Plane 11 default scenery would make sense, right? As far as I understand, this is also the only way to get the new European autogen to display. Would rebuilding the overlays mean, I have to do the final step of Ortho4XP pointing to the default X-Plane folder for each tile? Some insights on this would be highly appreciated. 5 days ago i requested a hardware reset for my ixeg 737, i had to update my bios today and upgraded to the windows 10 creators update and knew it would trigger a hardware change, i don't know how else to get these people to answer, it says support in 3 days or less, here i am 5 days later, what am i suppose to do to get these people to reset my hardware, i don't want to put a second ticket in because it says it will delay the process, last time it took 3 weeks. i am not spamming, i paid 75,00 for this plane and want to use it, i don't know where else to turn to get these people to answer, this support is behond horrible,i will never buy another product from them again, bu…

Has anybody recently got any update notices in email, for the SMP 4 product? If so, can you please state what the new version is. I haven't had an update notice in months, so was wondering if there has been one. I just checked their site, and it is at v4.0.1, so in fact do have the latest version.

Obviously a newbie question: Using XP11 and the Logitech wireless gamepad which works great in FSX, I am unable to control the default Cessna. On taxi, it wants to go left even though I've set right trim using ']'. On flight, the aircraft yo-yo's and rolls continuously, even after applying the pitch and roll trim controls (1,2,8,9,0). I also set the keys for auto-wing level and altitude hold to no effect. Finally, is there a way to display the auto-pilot status on screen and a method to slew in chase mode (please don't mention map mode - I know.). I never had this problem in FSX. Please advice. Can anyone confirm that KLAS working in XP11? I noticed week ago in "requirement " tab it was stated that KLAS compatible only with XP10 (in bold font). Now that XP11 R1 is out, I started looking at add-on aircraft that claim to be XP11 compatible and FlyJSims 727 Series Study V2 came up. I'm interested in opinions on the quality, completeness and fidelity of this aircraft. Video looks good. Price is attractive if the quality is there. Like most coming from the FSX/P3D world, I'm looking for quality and wonder how this compares to FSX/P3D best in class offerings.

There was a mention earlier in the beta series about getting upgraded water colors in XP11, especially in shallow/tropical and subtropical areas like the Florida Keys and similar places, where the default X-Plane water just doesn't look right. Either it didn't make it into the final 1.0 release, or I'm doing something wrong with the Installer. I didn't have any default terrain for the Eastern USA until a few days ago post-1.0 release. I just downloaded that default scenery and the water in the lower Florida Keys looks the same as always. One of the things that intrigued me is that he has build Airbus FBW system in X-Plane! Well actually exist in planemaker such an option! Still needs work, but eventually will be FAA-certified...!
