Hi All, Happy Easter. I was wondering about upgrading the A320 for X-Plane 11. My A330 seems to work OK so I am going to leave that for now. Do any of you have the new version? I was wondering how much of an improvement it is over V2.7 B2. My main gripe was always the cockpit textures in the 320. I find the A330 much better Would be interested to hear you r thoughts RIchard

I'm an experienced FSX user but new to X-Plane and I've installed the XP11 demo. I have a pretty good system (see signature below) which runs FSX well with a lot of commercial add-ons. I have a question about performance in XP11 as it doesn't see that impressive. I'm running X-Plane exactly as installed with no plugins and using the default Cessna 172. These are my graphics settings: Visual effects - High (HDR) Texture Quality - High Antialiasing - FXAA Number of World Objects - Medium Reflection Detail - Maximum (tried different levels with no significant change in FPS) Draw Parked Aircraft - ticked Allow windshield effects - ticked Lateral field of vi…

I am in the process of making the switch to XP. In the P3D world I used the ORBX Community Screenshots site, but that was for FSX and P3D. I am hoping there is some similar site for XP and that it is somewhat active.

I used this product in P3D and just loved the 750 for if nothing else, flight awareness of where I was in relationship to airports, VOR's, etc. Any and all comments welcome.

We really need this again (ok I do).... I need to resize the lights... they look silly on airplanes. This has been my complaint from the start but since XP is RTM now I get to complain lol Does anyone know if its working in XP11?

Hi, i have collected over 700 points at the Org-Store and now i want to redeem the points. I´m thinking about the BFDG-UH60, the XPScenery-KLAS, aerosoft-Mykonos and the khamsin-B25. Any thoughts and suggestions are welcome. Thanks for the help!

I have never been able to get G Plan to connect to X-Plane 11, I had G Plan download data from X-Plane 10 and that works OK. How do you direct G Plan to where X-Plane 11 is? I've tried everything I can think of but still cannot get it to connect.

I'm sure a few of you who have flown Dino Cattaneo's releases over in FSX/P3D will have a good idea who he is. I respect him - good developer, and although he's released a few things now as payware, he spent a lot of time creating some of the best freeware military jets that exist in FSX/P3D. I'm not including a link - his site contains links to his payware items, so I believe that's against the rules. Anyhow, googling 'IndiaFoxtEcho' will find his site, with the XP review the latest post (dated Apr 7th). Nicely balanced review, in my opinion, from someone invested in the continued success of MS based flight simming. Now... if we could just somehow convince him …

A strange question I know (especially for those with limited system resources) but, I am rather surprised at the inability of my own system to generate anything higher tthan 35-40fps on 'high' settings? Has anyone else with a high-end system noticed this? With most other 'games' that I run; the house lights go dim, the pile stands up on the carpet and I can rocket along at dicking refuculous fps rates!! XP11?..... Hello guys, I have a dream. I want to fly any payware aircraft without mouse. Only with key assignment. I want to use key because i want to use my MCP VRI and VoiceAttack. Do you think it's possible ? Thank you for any advice

It's time I attacked this issue properly.... I'm seeing a lot of jaggies in XP11. I only use default settings and 4xAA+SSAA is what I'm at. 8X helps a little but my fps drop about 10-20%. I am running HDR. Do you guys use in-game or nvidia inspector settings or nvidia control panel settings? Here is a 1:1 crop of what I mean... the runways/terminal area etc looks especially jaggy. Mostly distant objects are the worst (no surprise there)

Anyone else using the Creators Edition? I downloaded it last night it seems to have given me an 8 to 10 fps increase. One caution, I downloaded the new NVidia driver that is optimized for Creators and X-Plane would not run, had to roll back in order to run X-Plane. I have seen several other people that used the new driver without incident. Some people haven't seen any gain with Creators some have. They seem to be system specific.

Hi had x plane 10 now for quite a few months flying all types of aircraft but find that after a few take off and climbing the aircraft loses control and nose dives to ground. Being a retired real time pilot with saitek pro 52 controls can't seem to correct, am using iMac computer and flying new beta x plane 11 demo which I intend buying soon it flies perfectly also in 10 have not managed to get ground support services to work. Having used right back to micro soft flight sim me 2000 with box load of add ins such as 727 professional flown all over the world plus combat seemed more user friendly.

Hi, I am not familiar with some of the XP vendors and had been eyeballing the VflyteAir Cherokee's. Was curious about the cockpit quality. Carenado is hard to beat as you know but it is hard to really get the eye candy on web pics and videos. Just curious for those who are familiar with both. Thanks Bob

After trying several times to download a tile for the Seattle aiport area I still have yet to see the photo scenery appear in xp10. When trying this I think several things are also wrong. When I try to piont to my scenery mesh folder (zzz_hd_global_scenery2) for the overlay it tells me " failure: there is no file to sniff from the indicated place." I then went into the ortho4xp cfg folder and told where the default sniff directory was. It continues to give me the same failure message. So I have to go with the default scenery in the global scenery folder. I think that may be part of my problem. Also after downloading when I check in the tiles/ z ortho4xp_+47-123/ texture…

It might just be that my yoke has finally bit the dust.. however, i'm plagued with constant calibration or lack there of with the ch yoke in xp11r1.. The roll axis in particular.. usually i have to click "accept axis" because it doesnt move the bar to the full extent.. or if you just sit there holding it to the right watching the level.. it will suddenly spike right. I thought i had stabilized it with a usb 3.0 port on the front of my machine.. then i decided to move the wire because it was convenient or long enough.. i tried 4 ports on the back, ranging from a dedicated usb 3.0 card, to built in usb 3.0, to usb 2.0 .. all the same.. massive random spikes even a…

Basically, how is it? What's the system simulation like, and flight dynamics? I was originally turned off by the seemingly bland texturing but now I'm having second thoughts. Thanks in advance

Looking for some good GA planes that work correctly in XP11. The Autopilot must work correctly. I found too many weird things with the included Baron and King Air. Your recommendation could be either pay or freeware, GA twin or single. Thank You.
