When you enable to call all service trucks,etc, when I did this, the fuel truck showed up, and sat there for about 5 minutes or so. I am not sure exactly what it does. If I am low on gas, I assume it refuels to the level I have set in the configuration options. When the service / fuel truck shows up, what should I look for in the A/C? Fuel level obviously. What else is supposed to be "serviced"? Thanks!

Just wondering if anyone is using the Carenado Centurion II in XP11. On their site it says up to 10.5, but sometimes things work... thanks, Andrew

Hi guys Am about to pull the trigger on XLive Deluxe, but i'm unsure as to something. Does this work with any default scenery out of the box? No editing. Or must you edit other default scenery in order for you to see traffic etc? The description on the website from what i can see is a little vague in that area. If i have to start editing scenery in order to see AI then i think ill pass. Was/Am hoping its like ummm Ultimate traffic. Regards Mike

I just purchased the 767 North America skins package for my new Flight Factor 767-300ER using X Plane 11 and the repaints work fine when I select and launch the aircraft. However none of the new 9 liveries i.e. Aeromexico, Air Canada, Southwest etc... have the 767-300ER_xp11_icon11.png or 767-300ER_xp11_icon11.thumb.png files in their folders. I believe these 2 picture files are used to show the aircraft preview in the aircraft selection windows of X Plane 11 so you can see the aircraft before you select it. I just installed the demo to have a look at the new X-Plane 11, but I cant find how to setup my second monitor. I've got a top/bottom configuration, with a full cockpit with outside view on the top monitor and main panel/basic-6 view on the bottom monitor, but everytime I activate the second window to adjust the view on the bottom monitor, the view on the top monitor keeps moving allong. The same goes for panning. When the upper window is active and I pan around, the bottom view keeps moving allong. How do I stop the second window from moving allong, so I can setup my panel view like I need it and make sure it stays that way?

I am a long time FSX simmer and wanted to take a look at XP11, so I downloaded the demo for 11. I have made a few test flights in various airplanes at different times of the day and noticed last night when flying with rain and overcast skies (preset), when the sim started with me in the cockpit, I looked around and saw and heard rain, but when I looked up, not a cloud anywhere and the stars shining brightly. I know what you're thinking, why would someone fly in that weather - well, I just wanted to see what those conditions looked like at night. Hi I keep getting the update notice upon opening xplane. I would like to know whats included in the update so I could decide whether to update as I read that people can have trouble with updates that didn't occur before thx Lee

I don't know if its possible and how much work is involved but who would like to see Opus for X-Plane? Maybe if we get enough people to respond we might be able to convince the developer that X-Plane is a viable market. If any moderators object please feel free to delete the post.

After much to-ing and fro-ing, I finally decided to download XP11 this morning. Ran the installer as "admin", entered my serIal, chose Europe as the scenery I would like to [initially] use and sat back to watch for a while. Download speed is 283 Kbits/second and the total download time is anticipated to be in the "double hours" category. I am the only user of a 40MB/Second fibre service, surely this cannot be correct. OK guys, I need some advice. I am seriously thinking of replacing my somewhat dated PC for a new one since I switched last year exclusively to X-Plane. Now, I could tell you a fib and say I don't care about the eye-candy in X-Plane, just the great physics of flying. Fixed, at least in the C90. Now behaves realistically. I wasn't aware this had been changed ( ? ) because last time I tested the XP11 demo, after Austin speach at some workshop where he mentioned updates to the turboprop model, the FF was still varying very noticeably with Prop RPM adjustments ... It is no longer, unless you bring prop really back, which you shouldn't in flight with a running engine...

Hi My XP11 install runs really well, I'm getting around 40+ fps with high settings typically on a fairly modest system using default aircraft However, I've imported a couple of Carenado planes (B58 and C90) from my Steam XP10 install to my LR XP11 install and they seem to work fine, and they look lovely but cause an absolutely massive framerate drop to about 17-18 fps Is this because of an incompatibility between XP versions (and I'll have to buy new planes when they're released) or a massive leap in the fidelity of the aircraft and what setting would be best to reduce to allow them to run at higher fps? The scenery settings don't seem to make any diff…

My Xp11 world has far too many B-52s in it for my comfort. Even the SR71s - as cool as the plane is - Id rather not see it as often as I do. How do I get much more GA (Cessna and such) and far fewer bomber sightings? Theres more bombers than 727s for heavens sakes. Is there an ini or config or something? thanks in advance.

I have all my tiles created. Was wondering, do you place the folder just ahead of H.D. Mesh 3, right near the bottom?

OMG! Ortho4XP RULES! My first Ortho-based tile fly over....wow! OK, I'm hooked. Going to get a couple of 4TB's just for this....wow. I also was using Ortho4XP v1.20b, and had Complex Masks and Inland Masks for water. Well...the Great Lakes as well as the Atlantic Ocean looks fabulous. I now see depth and wave swells moving across the water. This is fantastic. Nothing like the default water masks...nothing! Another observation, no FPS hits for flying over custom Ortho4XP generated scenery tiles.

Hello, I'm using P3D V3.0 currently, fly almost daily. Most of my flying is done using FSCaptain to log my pilot career. I have two main gripes w/ P3D which have me being open to moving to XP 11.x: 1. I don't like the affiliation w/ LM. This is primarily because of their emphasis on P3D as their training platform w/ very little direct support for their real base which IMO is the large paying beta-testing group which would be users like myself. I don't like pretending I'm a student which is BS. I 'play' pilot and that's as far as I'll ever go with it. Good Morning all from a UK potential user. I purchased the XP software at the back end of last year when it was a buy 10 get 11 when ready. I have yet to install 11 as I already have 10 on DVD, but it has seen hardly any usage as it's "different" from my P3D with many "extras". At 73 and with the onset of "short term memory issues" my simming usually comprises VFR in the Southern part of UK where I can utilise VFR reference points etc. To my query then, is there any Photoscenery available for XP11 - excluding Horizon - that may be purchased - especially for UK? I am of the opinion that any effort to teach myself how to create my own would be doomed to failure…

Why do the US registered lieveries have 6 digits after the N number? Specifically, N47332A, N47332B, N47332C. I thought you could only have 5. Thanks

Hey all, Long story short: Trying to use FlyQ on my iPad. Works fine from FSX and P3D (via FSXFlight) and also the XP 11 demo. However, I can't get it to work from XP 10. I've checked the IP. Any ideas what I may have to do to get it to work? thx Andrew

There is version 1.20b, available via the author's Drop Box, FYI. I'm using it right now in a tile batch creation fest... :)
