Just one tile to go...and soon my first flight over France. Can anybody who lives in France suggest the best source for that country?

I've read somewhere that navaids in XP11 are not georeferenced, especially in Europe. Does that mean I can't use Jeppesen charts that I have in FliteStar/FliteMap software to navigate inside the simulator? Is it fixable somehow? thanks

Ever since I registered a weird shaking of the ground (textures) in XP10. It's as if there was a huge earthquake. It's most obvious when sitting on the ground and looking to the side+down from the cockpit. The closer the textures are, the more shaky. It's not noticeable while taxiing or during flight so it's not that bad most of the time. Just want to know if anybody else has it and what's going on here... Thanks Flo WIN7, XP10.20beta2, GTX670

I just want give some headsup for those interested in navigating in a unusual way. The TU154M, made by Felis, can navigate without GPS and beacons (though you can use the installed GPS KLN90B if you want) with its NVU computer and isolated gyros. Though creating a flightplan and calculating the bearings and distances manually can be quite tedious when flying in orthodromic courses, as the NVU computer does not convert geographic coordinates itself. Therefore I've created a tool called XNVU, which you can create a flightplan from waypoints, airways and also custom waypoints (and many other features). I've been in a 35 tile generating session over the past day and a half, with 8 tiles to go, as I type, at z17/19 2 KM's around airports, and am reading the script generating logs. Quite a few have a 'updating new data', that some others did not display. Just a possible head's-up that perhaps the Bi(ng) service has some new data input at its disposal, while compiling and generating its Ortho Tiles. Hi there, I purchased the FlyJSim 727, and have a question about throttles. I hav ethe Thrustmaster Warthog, and am trying to assign multiple axis' to one of the throttle levers. I'd like to have throttle 2 linked to the throttle 1 (or throttle 3) axis, however all I'm seeing is the option to assign 1 throttle to each axis. I searched for a usable axis config plugin, however I'm not coming up with anything that seems to work in XP11. I also searched some forums, but have been unsuccessful in getting any answers. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Does anyone using that old Jeppesen flitedeck software for Windows? I have a problem with current position of the aircraft. It refreshes only like once in 3 seconds. Is there any way to make it refresh instantly? If so, I would really appreciate if you can post your X-Plane/Jeppesen/Virtual Com-Port settings. Thanks in advance!

Hi guys I am returning to flight simming after many years out of it. Previously I used FS2004 and FSX with the PMDG stuff. I like to use study level sims and am a RW pilot also. I am doing some commercial training and would like to use a flight sim to help with my IR procedures and checks etc. I stress I will not be using it for any kind of general handling practice as I am well aware of the limitations of sims but for IR procedures and getting familiar with cockpit layouts it can be beneficial and save ££'s in the air. Hi - I'm curious what everyone here does in terms of VSync.. I assume some use NVIDIA settings and do adaptive half refresh rate to get 30fps? If you do that, do you then leave it "off" in the XP graphics settings? Would love to hear some anecdotes about what has provided the best results for people. Thank you!

I was learning to operate my recently purchased FF 767-300ER for X Plane11 and all was going well until one day the auto pilot stopped engaging.. I can no longer get the LVAN or VNAV to engage and stranger yet when I just take off with or without a flight plan programmed in the FMC I can't even get Altitude or Heading Hold to work even if I disengage the autopilot and re-engage it. Ive been having some problems with the IXEG 737 autopilot. When i am in the air i first engage the LNAV and the VNAV (so far so good) but when i press the autopilot, both of them (VNAV and LNAV) disengage. This is really weird because the fmc is fully configured with the route, the perf page and all the needed information that i know i have to fill. It is important to mention that this error have only been occurring since the last patch. So I only know the world of FSX and P3d for 10 years now and thought I would give the XP11 demo a try. I'm very impressed with the visual environment and lighting. The buildings, roads, traintracks, autogen trees, road traffic are all just breath taking when flying over Seattle in the demo. I'm trying my best to get used to the viewing menus and options for looking around as my brain wants to use p3d keyboard strokes, it's almost like learning a new language on the fly. I'm trying to reassign keyboard commands over to the P3D world that I'm so used too. So like an idiot I accidently erased my default cloud textures. Besides doing a reinstall is there a way to get these back? Or our there any good alternative freeware textures available? Thanks

I have XPwideclient - XPUIPC - Plan-G working perfectly together on my X-Plane 10 multi-PC multi-monitor setup.At very least this suggests that I understand the settings required of the programs, have set them up correctly,and that my network is configured and working correctly. However, try as I might I cannot get the programs to play together on my X-Plane 11 installation using the same hardware. All programs are run as admin and firewalls are down on all PCs.
